such a great buy

I will admit to be pretty lazy at night time with my routine in cleansing my face. Basically, if I don't use wipes my makeup stays on till the morning. Eeek I know! Anyway I've tried quite a few brands and I am really liking these ones. They have a light scent to them but nothing overpowering. The packaging is good, the lid clips on rather then just a plastic flap so they don't dry out! They get all my makeup off easily and they are such a good price. I get mine off iherb for $3 when I do an order. So these have definitely become my go to face wipes now!

Just purchased them and can't wait to try them. Hopefully I like them just as much as you do :-)

Are they heavily fragranced hun? And also what are they like at getting black eyeliner off? I've been struggling to find a really good eye makeup remover that will take it completely off. At $3 you really can't go wrong though aye :-)

Love these makeup remover cloths

I've tried a few makeup remover cloths in my time and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with these E.L.F ones. I love most of their products and thought I would try these. They feel so soft and don't irritate my skin which is great because I have super sensitive skin, they don't leave my skin feeling dry and don't strip what moisture I have in my skin. They are a nice size, easy to use and the packet has a lid and resealable sticky tab. Handy and small enough to put in your bag and they take the makeup off really well. Definitely a new favourite of mine and the price is a steal and you get 20 wipes in each packet, which is more than enough to keep you going for awhile. The smell is quite pleasant and doesn't smell like chemicals as some remover wipes can. Will be adding a few of these to my next iHerb order as I don't want to run out of these.

Great back up

I always have wipes on the go for those nights I can't be bothered cleansing properly and find these are really good ones to use. As with all wipes, I find they don't 100% remove everything but I'm more than happy to use these again as they are dirt cheap online.

The packaging - as with all e.l.f products - is nice plain, black and white, looks pretty sleek to me. It has a handy plastic clip thing to reseal the package after use, which is way better than other brands that just have the sticky tab you reseal with.

They don't have any sort of overpowering smell which I think is great, nor do they irritate sensitive eyes.

Another plus is that they do not dry your skin out after use. I never feel like I have to go racing for moisturiser after using them.

The only improvement I would make would to have a wee bit more moisture on the cloths. Hence I didn't give them 5 out of 5.

Overall, they are a really good buy, as good as the more expensive wipes and I will be purchasing again.

Tips: You'll need 2 wipes if you wear a lot of makeup.

Great for the price

I am not a regular face wipe user as I prefer to always fully cleanse my face to remove all traces of makeup (which a wipe could never do) and help prevent breakouts. However, in saying that I have still tried many different brands of wipe which I some time use to take the majority of my makeup off before cleansing or when on the go and I want my makeup off before I am ready to cleanse etc.

These are fantastic for the price! They are soft, suitably moist and don't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. I love the packaging of these wipes too as they have a plastic seal (like most wipes, which eventually loses it's stick and the remaining wipes dry out) as well as an outer plastic lid which snaps shut. This is so much better as even when the inner seal isn't fully sealing the packet the lid keeps the wipes moist and usable. They remove my makeup as well as any other makeup wipes I have tried, they are a little thinner than some but this doesn't seem to make them any less efficient at removing the makeup.

So, if makeup wipes are your thing and you want a cheap wipe to do the job I would definitely recommend you give these are go, they are well worth the $3 I paid for them :)

Tips: Aim to regularly cleanse your face after using wipes such as these. Wipes are quick and easy but can't get deep down into the pores (like a good cleanser and water) and remove all traces of makeup. Properly removing your makeup can really help improve the condition of your skin.

n.t.y

This is the first e.l.f product that I have to say No Thank You to.

My latest beauty obsession is makeup removing cleansing cloths, and I'd previously had an excellent experience with another brand, but as I was doing an iherb order I thought I'd toss a pack of these in and give them a whirl. Thank goodness they're only a few dollars, otherwise I would've been having a 'what a waste of money' moment.

The packaging is simple, a black pouch with white accents. It'd fit nicely into a bag or your car's glove compartment, which is always handy. The cloths come out easily enough and look and feel a lot like babywipes. Now this next bit is where the wheels fell off for me. They stink!! They remind me of the smell of just cleaned public toilets! Sweet, but chemically. And just plain out spew inducing! (I know, that's quite harsh, but it's how I felt). I battled through the stench and wiped my face and yes makeup came off. Then looking at the instructions I noted that it said to rinse your face after using. At that point I thought 'what is the point?'. If I'm that near a basin I may as well just use cleanser! So I got up and did use cleanser, to take the smell away, then threw the pack on the bedside table vowing to never use it again. And I haven't.

Call me fussy, but I like a makeup remover that can be done from the comfort of bed, that does not need rinsing off, and does not stink to high heaven. Yes, it removes makeup, but it doesn't remove hassle. Not. My. Favourite. N.T.Y.

Ease of bed use is a requirement. Thanks for pointing out it needed to be washed off!

Good packaging, bad product

Bought this off the elf site because they were so so cheap! liked the packaging because it is resealable and there's a little plastic rim in the pack that stops it from being bent in a handbag or suitcase. However, they are awful at actually removing makeup and you end up with smudged, half-removed makeup everywhere. I also had a severe reaction to these and ended up with a rash all over my face... my flatmate also used them and had really really dry and itchy skin.. not happy with these at all.

Tips: don't buy these. ever.

Not that great

I felt the wipes were pretty small that I had to use many to get rid of my makeup. It is pretty basic.

e.l.f Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

These wipes are great,I find they remove my makeup well.Have a faint smell and its quite pleasant,. The super cheap price is what grabs me the most I bulk order from iherb. Only negative is that each packet only has 20 wipes not many and they can sometimes be a tad to wet and drip or leave a bit of the cleanser in the cloth on my face. While I love these I much prefer the elf makeup remover exfoliating cleansing cloths but they only have 10 a packet:/

Elf cloths

These are really good for removing makeup and are pretty moisturising. They are also a really good value product. I tend to go through them really quickly though as i need probably two to get all of my makeup off for the day. They don't have any weird fragrance - nice and fresh!

Better than some I have used

Going on the fact that these are not expensive make up removers, I think they do really well. The cloths themselves are quite large and feel soft, with just the slightest hint of moisture on them.

Not much rubbing was needed to remove approximately 99% of my make up, however it did require 2 cloths as I was wearing waterproof eye make up.

The packaging is very well done, simple in black, but the plastic lid actually works and stays shut after you close it, which means the remaining wipes don't dry out.

Far better that some leading brands on the market at the moment, but it doesn't work as effectively as cleansing wash for me so would only use if travelling.
