e.l.f Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths

First of all, I will say that I dislike using face wipes and prefer to wash my face completely - as my face always feels really gross using wipes.

Yep sure it removes my makeup but with a couple towels. So it’s definitely not long lasting. I can get through one pack a week. But it’s cheap you say, yep but so are baby wipes and I get 90 towels in that thing.

While it is good for removing face makeup like foundation, blush, bronzer etc, it is a little bit more difficult to remove your eye makeup, especially eyeliner and mascara. it does remove it, but with determination. And by the end my eyes are stingy, and the skin around my eyes itchy, irritated, red and sore.

It is however very wet, and has a lot of the product on it to last your whole face so it does feel like washing makeup off without the water. The aloe is also really good as it doesn’t dry out your face. but it makes my face tight and itchy. That may just be my skin sensitivity however.

I am not a regular face wipe user as I prefer to always fully cleanse my face to remove all traces of makeup (which a wipe could never do) and help prevent breakouts. However, in saying that I have still tried many different brands of wipe which I some time use to take the majority of my makeup off before cleansing or when on the go and I want my makeup off before I am ready to cleanse etc.

These are fantastic for the price! They are soft, suitably moist and don't irritate or dry out my sensitive skin. I love the packaging of these wipes too as they have a plastic seal (like most wipes, which eventually loses it's stick and the remaining wipes dry out) as well as an outer plastic lid which snaps shut. This is so much better as even when the inner seal isn't fully sealing the packet the lid keeps the wipes moist and usable. They remove my makeup as well as any other makeup wipes I have tried, they are a little thinner than some but this doesn't seem to make them any less efficient at removing the makeup.

So, if makeup wipes are your thing and you want a cheap wipe to do the job I would definitely recommend you give these are go, they are well worth the $3 I paid for them :)

Ok so I am one of those naughty people that hates to remove there make up and often goes to bed with it on and then in the morning furiously rubs there eyes to get it off until I tried these !

I tend to wear a lot of black eyeliner and also a waterproof mascara. When I use these wipes it only takes a few wipes and all my eye make up is gone. I also found that it was really gentle on my sensitive eyes and also that it worked wonders getting my Double wear foundation off.

The packaging wasn't anything exciting they can in a black packet with a hard top on them. I did enjoy the smell as it was kinda of lemony and was quite refreshing.

I've bought this a couple of times now and always keep a pack of these in my gym bag or overnight bags. I usually prefer to use actual cleansers at home but wipes are great on the go. They are quite wet and so I usually press one on my face then slowly drag it off. These won't get rid of all eye makeup but it does feel a lot fresher and cleaner after use. The texture is very soft and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Love how even the last wipe is still wet, the packaging really does lock in the moisture. Basically everything you want in a makeup wipe plus it's only about $4. So worth the price and I'll definitely be buying this again and again.

This comes in a resealable pop top packer with 30 full sized wipes I say full sized because that's what they are enough to go over your entire face. The wipes are most & some what curogated to the eye but soft to the touch. There is a slight scent nothing obtrusive. They are also thin but not flimsy or easy to tear. I find that the effect of the wipes are acceptable they lift off layered waterproof mascara &lift; up makeup from the skin. I never can get all my makeup off from one wipe so there is a bit of repetitive wiping to remove makeup which doesn't worry me. As long as I get my lashes clean I don't mind going in with a cleanser post using a wipe because old habits die hard. Overall I'm very happy with these wipes they perform well as can be expected & they're not drying or leave you with no side effects post use.

There are better things out there, BUT for the price they are great. They are nice and soft but I find they aren't as effective at removing stubborn make-up but do the job in the end. The packaging is great, they have a hard, clip-on lid, so the wipes stay moist and don't dry out. These aren't good for around the eyes, or maybe it's just me because I have sensitive eyes, but mine sting if I get anywhere near the eyelid with them.

i wanted to love this product mainly because everyone has been raving about elf lately.

But sadly its not for me, it made my face sting and around my eyes went a little red.

it did seem to get all my makeup off . and the cloths themselves are a good size . i also like the packaging , there is a plastic lid and then another plastic seal to stop the wipes drying out.

so basically if my skin wasn't so sensitive i would buy again

I like the packaging that this comes in, it prevents the makeup wipes from drying out so ensures that when you go to use it, it'll actually be able to remove your makeup.

I don't feel like it's that good at removing makeup, and often will still leave traces of eye makeup behind and the rubbing is what irritates my skin. It has a very mild scent and doesn't irritate my skin. I also like that the wipe is quite soft so it isn't abrasive and won't drag along my skin. They're great for a refresher throughout the day but they're definitely not enough and I do cleanse my skin afterwards.

These are so adorable and easy to use so I would repurchase them.

These wipes do a good job of shifting makeup at the end of the day for lazy people like me who cant really be arsed cleansing properly. They didn't seem to do any better or worse a job than any other cleansing wipe I have used (although I don't tend to purchase any high end or expensive ones). The price is really solid- it can be hard to find wipes under $10 from supermarkets so even with the conversion $3US is a great price. There are cons to this product however- firstly, the wipes are super thin, and small, so realistically I think (as with most elf products) you are paying less, but you are also getting less for your money. Secondly, these smell terrible, very chemically, and they kind of give the impression that you are using the cleansing cloths you clean the interior of your car with. So offensive was the smell, that I expected my face to be burning afterwards from all the chemicals. Smell aside though, would probably purchase again as an add on to an iherb order.

On a recent iherb order these are another thing that just magically flew into my online cart. At $3 it wasn't particularly harmful to my Credit Card balance. Plus you can always do with a back up of makeup removing wipes. I try not to use makeup removing wipes too often as I know the ingredients can be harsh on your skin, but sometimes it just happens.

For $3 the packaging of this is super good. It is pretty simple, but really how much can you do with makeup removing wipes. It is all black. I like that the lid is hard plastic so you know it will stay completely closed no matter how many times you use it. Underneath that is a soft plastic lid like the usual wipes packaging. I usually keep my wipes stored upside down so I love the double lid keeps the liquid in with no worries.

The scent of these is pretty non-offensive. Just kind of clean smelling, sorry for my crap description. The 7inch square size is pretty good size for cleaning my whole face. This does get most of my makeup off. Although they say that they get the waterproof mascara off, which it doesn't get every scrap off without some serious scrubbing (which I don't want to do around my eyes). This didn't irritate my skin at all which is great, it also didn't strip my skin which I really appreciate.

Impressed for the price! I think another packet of this will magically fly into my cart again next time I make an order on iherb.
