I bought the coconut, shea butter and manuka honey body wash from Countdown for $5.99 as I have used their washing powder, multi purpose spray and bubble bath. I like the Earthwise brand as they use natural ingredients and are environmentally friendly.
The bottle is 400ml and has a pump top which gives you a perfect amount for whole body application. For $5.99 it is a medium price body wash. It is a decent amount which lasted two months for myself and my daughter. The bottle is white, with modern lettering it explains how the body wash is free from SLS, parabens, palm oil and synthetic dyes and how it is made in New Zealand.
The smell of subtle coconut is the main scent that is noticeable, no honey scent unfortunately as it states in the title, the scent does not last on my skin at all, once I am out of the shower I can no longer smell the wash, which is disappointing.
The consistency is a thin gel that slightly foams as you rub it on your skin, it felt nourishing on my skin which I enjoyed, it did not strip my skin and cause dryness which I have found with other gel body washes.
I would recommend this product if it was on a sale, as I like that it is chemical free, and the packaging is environmentally friendly. A pleasant scent and made in New Zealand.
I bought this product from Countdown for $4.50 after I saw some Earthwise products in the brand directory and thought I'd give them a try.
Firstly, the brand name "Earthwise" is appealing as it sounds environmentally friendly and good for the skin.
Secondly it is in the price range that is affordable for everyone.
It comes in a plain white pump bottle with minimal writing on it, which I really like. The product comes out in a good sized squirt, and is a clear kind of thick liquid. It lathers up as well as I'd expect from any body wash.
The scent? Yuuuum - very strongly coconut. Delicious! It doesn't really leave much scent on my skin after drying unfortunately, but it is a strong fresh scent while I'm using it, which I like very much. And I do feel clean and fresh after washing.
I think it's a great economy product that performs as well as more expensive products and I recommend trying it.
