I heard and read so many good things before buying. It's made from organically certified ingredients. I love the idea of a building a tan, and the fact I could use this in place of a every day moisturiser. I brought the exfoliating mit, and tanning mit to apply to get a even spread. The pump on the bottle makes it easy to get out the bottle. The colour is good and doesn't go orange, It appears golden on your skin. Bonus! I don't find it to be overly hydrating so applied at night and moisture in the morning. I find over time it can start to go patchy, and the smell isn't crash hot, however it doesn't have the typical fake tan smell. I like this product, but I'm not in love with it, the reason why it didn't get 5 stars from me.

I got this in the beauty vault a while ago and have been using it ever since.
Firstly, I wish my bottle came with a pump but I read some reviews that it took a while for the product to come out. The new bottle is easy but you have to squeeze it out.
Application of this is easy as well. I apply it after a shower at night. It is moisturising enough and when I wake up in the morning, my legs have a nice tan. It's not too dark which is great because I don't want a dark tan anyway so if you have a light brown skin colour like me, this would give you a mild/medium tan.
I don't mind the smell too. It's not my favourite scent but I don't have an issue with it.
Overall, it's a pretty good product and it's great that it's eco-friendly too.
Tips: You can apply this with your hands but I used a tanning mitt
When i noticed this in the last beauty vault i was excited and new i needed it. I havent used a fake tan moisturiser since i was in high school and i dont have very good memories. I remeber my legs looking orange and feeling like a oompa loompa.
This comes in a brown soft squeezy bottle, which is easy to squeeze out the rite amount of moisturiser that you need. The moisturiser its self is a nice light brown colour and is quite a thick consistancy which is great that you dont feel like its just sliding off yot hand.
I was a little nervious to apply more coats to my legs (even tho the bottle says you can add more than one application) I just didnt want to be orange, But i sucked it up and added 3x applications and woohoo i ddint turn orange! It just added a little more colour to my legs.
Over all I really like it but i would like to see a bit more colour come from this.
Another product I picked up in the vault, as I like to look a bit tanned without the hassle of actually tanning outside, plus its far too cold to do that right now!
The bottle has a handy dandy pump which I love. It's easy to disperse product without having to continually pick up the bottle and squeeze it out, you can just boop it with the back of your hand. It keeps the bottle clean and there is less mess!
The lotion is a light brown, and it's not very creamy. It's thick, but it's quite thin in consistency. Luckily the color is solid and I've found that thankfully, it doesn't go streaky. It does take a few days to build up though, so if you have something on Saturday and you want a tan, start earlier!
I personally think it smells awful, but I've gotten used to the smell by now so I don't really notice it anymore. It takes me roughly 6-10 pumps to do my whole body, which is quite good, and the more pumps I use the more I know my body is covered and again, I won't go streaky. I'd rather use more than not have enough on. Once it gets to the bottom it gets harder to pump out as it creates a well of product around the pump.
As it's drying it's quite sticky on the body, and on my face it doesn't seem very moisturizing which is a shame, but I don't really expect to be moisturized from a tanning product. I do use exfoliation gloves every day but I haven't really noticed it affecting the color of the tan, nor is it scrubbing it all off. I'd consider repurchasing this but I'd rather branch out and try new tanning products at the same time.
I'd heard so much about all the Eco Tan products in particular this one! They were doing a special on it at my local Hardys mid way through last year so I had to pick up one of these and give it a try!
I really like the packaging, it comes in a 300ml amber plastic bottle with a black pump top. Which is so handy! A lot of moisturisers have the awkward tops that you have to try juggle the lid bottle and moisturiser in your hand to get the lid back on, with this product it's as simple as a quick pump if product and your well on your way to tanned skin.
Once pumping out the product it smells quite floral which can be justified with there being chamomile flower extract in it which I'm not usually a fan of but didn't mind it in this product. It does linger on the skin for around 10 minutes but you do get used to it. The smell isn't quite enough to put me off this product. The main thing is it doesn't smell like nasty chemicals.
The moisturiser has a very light brown tinge to it which would come from the Cacao (yes theres chocolate in it! How cool is that?). I found it very easy to apply just like any moisturiser, it turns white when you rub it in so it's sort of like a guide to help you apply it. You just have to make sure you're not going to heavy handy over any dryer patches like knees and elbows otherwise it will stain a lot darker than the rest of your body also make sure you exfoliate like you would with any other tanning product. It also drys reasonably quick and can just dress how you usually would afterwards because it doesn't stain. I didn't have a problem with streaking or patches either. I built it up to a nice honey tan then just moisturise it every other day to maintain.
I really like this product. It may seem quite expensive but with the amount of product you get with it it is totally worth it and once built up you don't have to use it every day which is good! I love the Eco Tan range and can't wait to purchase more from this amazing brand. How could you not love something that is so natural and good for your skin?!
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !! Love love love the winter skin lotion! Without a shadow of a doubt the best fake tan I have ever used! Yes it takes a few days application to give the desired tan (which I thought would be annoying, but wasn't!) but it comes out looking really natural and even. Feels really nice on the skin NOT STICKY like a lot of other fake tan lotions. And smells really really nice, not that typical "fake tan" smell! I am well and truly addicted to winter skin!
Tips: I often use it on my face at night so that in the morning I won't need to apply a bb cream or foundation, just to have enough coverage over my redness but still leaving my face looking natural.
I love this product. It is a moisturiser that builds up to a nice natural tan. I love the fact it has no nasty chemicals in it and is actually the best gradual tan I’ve used. It’s not super moisturising but even after one use my skin looks so much better, you can build up the tan as much as you like. Don’t be too heavy handed a couple of daily applications should leave your skin looking nice and brown. I don’t love the smell but it’s nicer than many other tanning products out there. It is slightly more than I would normally spend on a tanning product I found it gave my skin a beautiful tan and did last longer than I thought it would. It never did any damage to my sheets or clothing. Will definitely purchase again. As with any other tanning product makes a big difference to shave, exfoliate beforehand and apply some moisturiser to any drier areas of skin i.e. ankles, knees and allow to absorb before applying tan. Don’t forget to wash your hands!
I believed the hype and went and treated myself- it's a bit of a step up in. Price from your usual moisturisers/tanning creams however I was really thrilled I spent a bit more! The cream is gently scented, easy to apply and doesn't leave a terrible smell the day after. It's light enough to apply as a moisturiser to your face giving a nice sun kissed look.
Tips: Don't shave your legs the days you are applying and ensure you exfoliate first! I purchased from health 2000 and it came in a cute pack with glove for this very task!
I was a little bit hesitant about trying this product at first-I never have used a fake tan in my life- so when I read all the amazing review I thought I had to try it! I did some research on the product and it has quite a unique story to it. The product itself is quite pricy for a 300ml bottle. I didn't want to spend my money on a product that would only last a couple of weeks if I used it every day. I told all my friends and family all about the fuss of this tanning lotion, so mum decided to get it for me as a birthday present.
I was super stoked with the outcome of the Eco tan winter skin. Not only does it gradually build up a gorgeous glow but makes your skin look so natural and smooth. It isn't extremely moisturising but it seems to make my skin smoother than it was. The smell is a little fascinating - it's not the nicest but it's not bad. Eco tan is amazing because, as it says in the name of it, it's Eco friendly! The lady who designed Eco tan had a sister who was diagnosed with melanoma so she created a tan her sister could have without the risk of UV. She didn't like the idea of nasty products epithet so she created Eco tan which has no nasties! The packaging is very unique. Very cute bottle and the pump squirts out the exact amount needed for your legs. The colour of the bottle is different to the actual moisturiser which I think is quite neat. I love how it comes with a free exfoliating glove which has loads of benefits including the removal of cellulite and stretch marks.
Over all I think the Eco Tan Winter Skin moisturiser is my overall favourite product of the century! You will definitely see a difference and I guarantee you will not regret this buy! :D
I love a good gradual tan, I've had great experiences with supermarket brands. I really wanted to try a higher end product, surely it would give great colour and be even better for your skin?
I liked the packaging, a pump bottle is always great. I always moisturise after a shower and find it so handy to have a pump bottle sitting on the bathroom counter so I can quickly pump it onto my hands and apply.
I found thus product absorbed quickly, but I didn't find it actually left my skin hydrated. By the next day (I used at night) my skin felt like it hadn't been moisturised.
The colour did build up well, and I would've been impressed by the colour payoff it had but the colour seemed really off on me. It just didn't look natural. It also went patchy which I don't expect from a gradual tan, especially due to its hydrating claims.
I never ended up using my whole bottle and it's currently been pushed to the back of the cupboard. Very disappointing due to its price.
Tips: Exfoliate, moisturise and then use this product.
