SKIN by ecostore Hydrating Mask Review

This is a truly effective deep moisturizing mask by one of my favourite NZ brands. All natural ingredients in a brand you can trust. The jar is heavy and the product very rich and creamy in an earthy green colour. You don't need a lot for maximum benefits. Despite it being summer, the weather has been awful, so I've been using it on hands, face, and chest a lot lately, and I love it.

I like Eco Store products and really trust the brand. This is a beautiful smelling and very hydrating mask that leaves my skin so soft. I use it every week and swear by it! Bonus that it uses natural ingredients from NZ.

This mask comes in a round container, typical for wash-off masks. It has a strong earthy wet clay-like scent when i dig my nose into it, which i’m not particularly fond of. However, the scent doesn’t actually smell too bad when applied onto the face. It gives off a nice natural feel, which suits it’s earthy light khaki brown colour. If you enjoy using your natural masks, this would be a nice product to try.

The mask itself is very gentle, smooth, creamy and non-sticky, which makes it very easy to apply. I prefer to use wash-off masks just before shower as it’s less messy when washing-off. It washes off nicely in water without the need of scrubbing. There was no tingling sensation, no irritation, redness, nor discomfort. My face felt nice, soft, healthy-smooth, and satisfied after using this natural mask.

I still prefer to use overnight masks due to pure laziness, but for traditonal wash-off face mask lovers; if you’re looking for a change into using natural products, this is definitely one to try.

Overall, an affordable mask-in-a-tub for those who enjoys natural NZ products, and enjoys to “” themselves a nice facial pamper.

Received this in the BBBE It's Only Natural box earlier last year and have been using once a week for the last 6 weeks. This is the first product from the range I have used. Packaging seems a bit plain to me, white pottle with a matte light green lid. Cream consistency. Smells a bit like clay.

Was not that impressed with the first couple of uses but wanted to give it a fair trial period so continued to use it for 4 more weeks. My skin does look improved after use. It does look more nourished, hydrated and brighter. However my skin feels drier than before I used the mask. Applying a serum afterwards seems to do the job.

I have a oily complexion so prefer my masks to be clay and deep cleansing to draw the impurities out. This was an average product for me. I will finish using it but this is not something I would be looking to purchase in future.

I found this a bit drying to be honest sorry Ecostore. My skin didn't get the hydration it needed as other masks provide. I did use most of it to give it a fair go but I won't look at repurchasing this.
