A beautiful product with an amazing smell. Feels smooth on my face and gives it a soft glow, dries quickly so you can apply make up. Comes in a great sized 50ml pumped bottle. NZ made.

I don't tend to suffer from dry skin on my face but this winter, my legs, knees and feet have been very very dry and flaky (gross I know!) but this was such a dream to use on those areas. This has a really nice natural fragrance and is really pleasant. My only downside was that I wish that this was as natural as it smelt!
Tips: Got dry feet? Cover your feet with a thick amount of this and then pop on a pair of thick socks and sleep in them. My feet were so soft the next day!
I love a pump bottle for my moisturiser, it makes it feel really clean and fuss free to dispense.
I really like that there are lots of natural ingredients, seaweed and kiwi fruit to name a few!
It has an unusual but pleasant smell to it, which doesn’t linger after you apply it.
This feels very hydrating when I apply it, but not at all greasy or heavy. My makeup sits really well on top of this moisturiser.
I’ve been using this for Anita 2 weeks now and my skin feels great, really soft and supple.
Tips: I’ve been using in conjunction with the cleanser and it’s a great pairing!
I have only tried a few Ecostore products before but nothing from their skincare range. So when I was selected for this trial I was super stoked. I started using the products as soon as they arrived.
The moisturiser comes in a cardboard box which has all the ingredients and a stunning image on the side which is supposed to depict the Marlborough Sounds where the marine extract is sourced, very cool. The bottle has a pump which I love and holds 50ml of product, the moisturiser is a medium weight and a light beige in colour. A little definitely goes a long way with this. It smells amazing! It has a lovely kind of powdery scent.
I have sensitive and dry skin so have to be weary as new products can burn and cause a serious irritation. This passed the first test! Not even the slightest tingle woohoo. The thing I find annoying about moisturiser is sometimes they can be sticky, I absolutely hate a sticky face. This moisturiser is brilliant and dries down super quick, almost instantly.
I can apply BB cream or foundation right away and it glides on so easily. It sits so well over the moisturiser and my skin stays matte which is another thing I love. I apply this in the morning and it keeps my skin hydrated all day. My skin feels beautifully soft and supple. It has not caused any breakouts at all.
I did research on the ingredients and this moisturiser is great for helping to increase collagen and regeneration of the skin. So many beneficial ingredients and a company with great ethics. What is not to love! I am really enjoying trialling this and I think I now have a new favourite brand. Paired with the cleanser and night cream it truly is amazing! My skin has never looked so good and healthy.
I found the ecostore Skin: Hydrating Moisturiser surprisingly likeable! I apply it to my skin fresh from the shower after cleansing and it both absorbs nicely and sits quite happily under my foundation and keeps me moisturised without drying out or going greasy throughout the day. This product certainly suits my skin type, I'm appreciative of the 'eco' benefits, natural ingredients and the price point ($19.95) is about right. Also the perfect size for carting around in your bag!
Tips: Two pumps is the right amount, any more you'll be waiting a while for it to absorb or be trying to remove the excess.
This omega rich moisturiser is just enough for my dry skin. It absorbs easily and leaves my skin feeling ready for the day. Its conviently packaged in a pump so you can get out exactly the right amount and no waste.
The main active ingredients are New Zealand Seaweed, Grapeseed and Harekeke Extracts and Kiwifruit Seed and Jojoba Oil. It promotes skin elasticity. It also leaves skin feeling soft and suitably hydrated.
I love that I can purchase from my local supermarket and that it doesn't cost the earth for a really lovely product. The smell is botanical, kind of plantlike crossed with ocean. Once its absorbed into the skin the products fragrance is unnoticeable so it doesn't interfere with other beauty products or perfume you may be wearing.
I think this product really delivers - I feel confident that my skin is properly hydrated, nourished and protected.
I really am looking forward to seeing and trying anything new coming this way from Ecostore. I believe in using amazing products, cruelty free, buying New Zealand Made and New Zealand Ingredients.
Well done Ecostore on another beautiful product!
Tips: Apply after cleansing. Use one pump at a time - you can always add more if needed. Massage evenly all over face and neck( and chest even!) until all rubbed in. Go nude or put foundation over top.
I have been using the ecostore Hydrating Moisturiser as part of the ecostore skin care regime. It comes in a handy dispensing bottle in cool pastel colours. The moisturiser dispenses easily and is smooth to apply over face, neck and décolletage. It is quick absorbing and doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky residue. It has a pleasant mild fragrance and is non-irritating and does indeed leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated.
I find that my skin really appreciates natural products, that’s why I tend to gravitate to them. This one in particular is such a nice moisturiser, it’s light yet hydrates very well. I like the fact that it does more than just hydrate, it also works to repair skin, so it’s much more effective than your regular moisturiser. I also am not too concerned with the smell, other people may not like it, but it’s so good of a product that I am able to withstand the smell.
Ecostore are a brand that I had heard of in relation to eco-conscious household cleaning products, but I was not aware that they made skincare products too.
This moisturiser comes in a green and white cardboard box, with the image of orange sunlight filtered through green water on one side. The cream comes in a solid plastic, white pump bottle with a removeable green lid. The bottle is 50ml. It feels really nice to hold, and the green and white packaging looks classy. The pump is very easy to use too. The cream itself is off-white in colour and it has a slightly perfumed scent. It contains blackcurrant, jojoba, and kiwi fruit seed oil, as well as avocado oil.
This hydrating moisturiser is designed specifically for “normal to dry” skin. The moisturiser feels rich, and it absorbs well into my dry skin. My skin is sensitive too, and it has not caused my skin any irritation. My skin feels nicely hydrated throughout the day. I am enjoying using this cream. I will continue to use this cream after the trial is over, and I may even repurchase it.
I actually LOVE this moisturiser! I have dry and oily skin so it's hard to find a moisturiser that works for both. It's so hydrating and good to use before applying makeup. It feels SO velvety on the skin and it's a lovely feeling! You don't have to use much to apply the product to your entire face, maybe a pea sized amount.
If you have dry skin in any other areas this works out really well even if the areas can be sensitive. My boyfriend's ears get really dry and flaky and as soon as I started using this on them it cleared up. So good for sensitive skin!
