Not for me unfortunately but would be ideal for teens or for those starting to use a moisturizer or perhaps those with oily skin. It contains natural ingredients and doesn't irritate your skin. My dry skin needs something more. Doesn't smell unpleasant nor sweet but then isn't perfumed.

Tips: Perfect for beginners.
I purchased this product as I have oily skin, and I'm always looking at purchasing more environmentally friendly options. The moisturiser comes packaged in a really nice pump bottle, which definitely helps prevent wasting the product. I also found a small amount of this moisturiser went a long way. The moisturiser pumps out pale orange in colour with a strong, but lovely musky scent. I found this didn't absorb very quickly, and usually left my skin looking quite greasy despite being a 'light' moisturiser. It did hydrate my skin okay, but always left it looking oily all day long. When I used this on a bare face and didn't apply make up afterwards, about halfway through the day I'd look incredibly greasy. Although this happens to me a lot with moisturisers as I have oily skin, it was disappointing for it to happen with one marketed for oily skin. I did like that the product was cruelty free and largely natural. I wouldn't purchase this again as it didn't provide amazing results for me and there are other similarly priced moisturisers that I feel work better for me.
This moisturiser came in a BBBE. I haven't used a lot of Skin by Ecostore products but I like the sound of them being organic and natural.
This light moisturiser comes in quite a plain bottle with orange and white Skin by ecostore branding which is eye catching and what you'd expect from a natural brand.
The product squirts out of the pump and does run, which is good. It is a white cream, which was a surprise as I was expecting something more like a lotion, especially as it is designed for combination to oily skin. That it was quite thick is very pleasing to me, as my mature skin likes thick creams. It doesn't take much product per application, and the product applies easily and absorbs quickly.
So overall it is a very good product, BUT, the smell is very much not for me. I can't define it, but it's almost chemical. It has blackcurrant and harakeke, which are great ingredients, but I think it's the harakeke that defines the scent that I really don't like. Unfortunately I wouldn't repurchase it, simply because of the smell. Itherwise its a lovely product and leaves my skin feeling soft, plump, and supple. Such a shame. But a fabulous buy for anyone who likes the smell!
I received this in a Beauty Box and thought I would give it a try as a daily moisturiser.
This comes in a 50ml, opaque, cylindrical container with a white body and an orange lid. I love the finish and feel of ecostore’s plastic packaging. It is smooth, matte, and feels so solid and nice to hold. The moisturiser is dispensed by a pump, and the removeable lid snaps on and off with a satisfying click. The cream itself is off-white and has a mildly floral scent.
This is described as a “Light Moisturiser” for “Combination to Oily” skin. My skin is dry and sensitive, but I thought I would try this moisturiser anyway. It has actually worked quite well on my skin despite not being designed for my skin type. It is easy to apply and absorbs easily. My skin feels moisturised, but not overly so. I could imagine this moisturiser working very well for combination skin.
I have enjoyed using this cream. I don’t think I will repurchase it because it is not quite right for my skin type – it’s not meant to be – but I will look at creams in the ecostore range that are designed for dry skin.
This is a really good moisturiser. I purchased it from Countdown on sale, as I was looking for a product that would work with my sensitive skin. It also doesn't have aloe vera in it, which is important for me, as using products with aloe vera too often upsets my skin. I loved the feel of this product on my face, as it didn't leave me feeling oily, and soaked into my skin quickly. It left me feeling soft, and as I have combination skin, it was good to see that my dry skin went away, and stayed away, even when I forgot to moisturise. It didn't make me more oily in my oily areas either. I loved the pump, as this made things easy to use, and I felt as I was able to use up all of the product. It's not a product that I was head over heels for, and have been trying other moisturisers since, however, I would definitely purchase again.
Really good moisturiser for the price and availability. Has a strong scent but once you’re using it a lot more, the scent is less noticeable. Absorbs into the skin nicely and has no oily residue so it is perfect for oily/acne prone skin.
I got this in my beauty box and i waa super excited to ure it. And i dont regtret it this is a awsume lightweight moisturiser.
It comes in a pretty white ans orange squashy bottle. Its a light orange runny cream and it smells like black currant to me.
I use this after my serum as a day cream. Its absorbs into my skin very fast and my skin feels hydrated soft and shiny.
My skin looks healthy and doesent break out at all. This ia a very nice face cream and i wil be repurchaseing this
Love!
This is amazing, my skin has never felt more soft and supple since using this.
I like that it's quite a light moisturizer- as the name suggests. Not too heavy and once it's had it's time to soak in my skin feels amazing!
It's lightly scented but definitely not off putting- I actually quite like the clean fresh scent!
Got this in the beauty review vault, and omg. Absolutely love it, great to use before makeup hydrates skin well and makeup is flawless I don’t even use a primer. Light scent that’s gorgeous, Great value for money mines not even nearly empty yet as a little goes a long way. Nice stand out orange so it will be easy to find in store
Tips: Wait 15 minutes before applying makeup
I don't see the point of a day cream without SPF. The most important thing you can do for your skin, if you can only do one thing for it is to protect it from the sun. I have a robust skincare routine and a day cream is just one part of it. But no way in heck would I be using a day cream without SPF. Also, I didn't feel like it spread very well. I had to use quite a lot compared with it's peers. The packaging is cute. I usually don't like simple packaging but something about the orange really works for me.
