Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Repair Balm

I like the packaging of this product,it fits easily into your handbag and the screw on lid ensures no product escapes and makes a mess.

The repair balm is a little bit sticky but it does the job and keeps your lips hydrated and reduces the appearance of dry flaky lips.

It is quite expensive so I would only ever buy it when it's on sale but a little bit does go a long way and I find the 15ml container will last me a long time.

Tips: You don't need to apply much as a little goes a long way and you don't want your lips looking too sticky and shiny.

Intensive Lip Repair Balm

I like to use a good lip balm at night time, so I bought this as I felt my current one was not cutting it anymore. I like the fact it is in a jar, but dislike the fact the jar is plastic, it cheapens it somehow, but don't let that put you off. The lip balm is not hard and waxy like some balms, but has a 'vaseline' type consistency, so be careful when diving in. As with a vaseline type lip balm it spreads easily over the lips, and if you have chapped lips this feels soothing, once on the lips it has a "medicated" feel, which is similar to the 8 hour Skin Protectant in the 8 Hour range. My lips seem to tingle slightly when this is on, so I know its working! In the morning my lips felt smoother, and I could smell the eucalyptus, but not as strongly as when first applied. By no means is this a fruity sweet waxy lip balm, it is more of a hard core intensive lip balm, just what you need for when you have a chapped lip emergency!

Tips: Elizabeth Arden products can be multi-taskers, use this where you would use vaseline, but keep in mind the eucalyptus smell, best keep this one to Mum as the kids won't like it

Miracle worker

I've been neglecting my lips lately and it is starting to show. So on a whim, I purchased the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Lip Repair. I was not disappointed. After the first application, I noticed a difference. I like to put this on at night and sleep with it on so that it can work its magic but I have found that I like the feeling on smooth, plump lips that I just use it all the time now. It has a very faint, almost lanolin like smell which means it doesn't put me off eating or drinking with it on. The consistency is thick and perhaps a little stickier than I would normally wear but it absorbs quickly and leaves a nice natural shine. Overall I am very impressed with the product and will happily purchase this again in the future.

Tips: Apply just before you go to sleep and you will wake up with gorgeous soft lips.

Elizabeth Arden Intensive Lip Repair Balm

I was wanting a lip balm to add to my night routine, and since I had heard so many good things, I decided to try this one out as my lips had been quite chapped lately. It is a miracle worker. Quiet literally, overnight, my lips felt so much smoother and plumper. It does have a faint but strong smell, but I dont mind it. I am now on my second box, and it is worth the price! Not only me but my sisters love it too.

Only issue I have with it is you have to use your finger, but since I only use at night, it does not bother me much. Also, a bit pricey but definitely worth it.

It definitely does what it says on the box!

Tips: It does tingle a bit the first few times you use it, but it does go away!

A nice soother

I got this lip balm and was really hopi g for a miracle however it wasn’t as moisturising as I had hoped.

It comes in a nice cute pottle and goes on smoothly. It has a nice soothing feeling, which if my lips are sore, feels really nice.

However, I still prefer the 8 hour cream to apply overnight as that is still on my lips the next the morning. This one just isn’t as moisturising.

Tips: Apply a good amount before bed and massage it onto your lips.
