I only had a very small tube of this but i used it religiously on my lips. I played saxophone all through high school and it really took its toll on my lips. I tried numerous different lip balms and creams and this was the only product I had any success with. It healed them right up and took away the pain. I didn't really use it for anything else but I would definitely recommend it to anyone suffering from sore lips.

Reviews
I use this product when I have flare ups of sensitive dry patches under my eyes and sides of my mouth, and it really works wonders...it rehydrates the area and acts as a barrier to prevent further irritation, I love it!
I love love love this product. The downside is it smells strongly medicinal but it works. I stupidly waxed my eyebrows but didnt warm the wax enough so it took a few layers of skin with it resulting in a very painful graze. I used this on it twice a day,at first it left me pain free and the graze was almost completely gone 48 hours later. I also get chaffing when wearing a skirt on hot days which can be extremely painful, this clears it up overnight and once worked on a random rash my daughter had
I was introduced to this amazing product about four years ago and I have never been without since. I keep a tube by my bed, on my desk, in the car and several tubes in various handbags. I use it as a lip balm, on sunburn and irritated skin. A great all rounder :-)
Tips: Buy lots of tubes :-)
This is by far the best balm I've used. I started using it while I was taking acne med Roaccuatne - it dries your skin and lips out like crazy!
I had tried a lot of balms before using this and they worked well but none actually lasted this long on my skin. The taste is a little bitter and the texture is a bit gluggy but I still love it and would still highly recommend it. You only need the tiniest amount so a little goes a long way. I had used it every night for up to 6 months and still had over half a tube left, so it's well worth the purchase in my opinion!
This product soothed very chapped lips I had from an allergy that just seemed to get worse no matter what I did!! Fantastic
I love this stuff, have and always will have a tube on hand. I slather it on everything- from my lips to any cuts or skin issues.
Tips: Just don't wear it in the sun, because the petroleum magnifies the sun (which means burn)
This product has been around for years, I remember my Grandmother using it and I am 44, I love it, I think it may have been reformulated I am not sure, but its still as good as ever. Highly recommend as a go to cream when you need an extra boost of moisture and soothing. Well worth the investment and you don't need to use much, last a long time. don't let your teens or kids get their hands on it and it will last.
My grandmother used it, my mum uses it and now I can't live without it. I use it on my lips at night and any leftover I moisturise into my cuticles. The smell isn't too pleasant but you get used to it. I wouldn't use it during the day as it doesn't contain any SPF.
Tips: Put some on your lips if you have a cold and can't breath through your nose at night, it stops your mouth from drying out.
The first time I used this was about 12 years ago when I used roaccutane and my dermatologist recommended it. I would use it all over especially on my elbows and knees. But now I use it mainly on my upper chest and elbows as it's too rich for my face but I have some sun wrinkles on my chest and its brilliant for that. I also use the eight hour lipstick - not coloured especially during the winter as it's very hydrating
Tips: make sure you keep it somewhere cool as it does melt and go gooy
