I bought this as a set from Farmers, it was quite a bargain at the time and I was very excited to try it after missing out on it in the vault.
First impression was...this is not for me, it's very glittery and sparkly. I didn't like that aspect about it at all.
I don't think I noticed any improvement in my skin after using most of the pump bottle. I also thought that I needed to use a decent amount to cover my whole face and neck and therefore it really didn't last that long, may 3 -4 weeks which is probably what it's meant to last. I usually use the Prevsge serum and it goes a long, long way compared to this.
The white pearls look great in the bottle floating in the clear serum but I feel it is a bit of a gimmick.
My skin hasn't changed so therefore I won't be repurchasing.
I was really, really lucky to be given a deluxe sample size of this. Packaging wise this it looks really elegant with the gold on the clear pump bottle and these pearls with a slight shimmer containing some advanced skin goodness. The claims are that it will help "reinforce the skin's moisture barrier, even skin tone, retexturize and reduce the appearance of early signs of wrinkles" as well as " rejuvenate the look of tired skin for a more energized complexion." The ingredients are water, glycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, pentylene glycol, PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, adenosine, calcium alginate, caprylyl glycol, carbomer, ceramide 1, ceramide 3, ceramide 6 ll, cholesterol, citric acid, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, ethylhexyglycerin, fucose, gellan gum, glucose, glucuronic acid, hydrolyzed soy protein, hydrolyzed yeast protein, hydroxyethylcellulose, mica, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, phytosphingosine, PPG-26-buteth-26, propanediol, sodium lauroyl lactylate, trideceth-9, xanthan gum, chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate and titanium dioxide. The texture of this serum is nice a light. It absorbs quite quickly, which is great for me since I'm into layering my skincare products but it also means that it would be ideal for summer. I don't know how the technology works with the pearls or how they get crushed into the serum when I pump it out but, the serum looks shimmery when it pumps out. As much as this is supposed to look magical, I'm not one for shimmer in my serums. Luckily I haven't noticed hardly any shimmer on my face when I apply it, although I have some shimmer left on my hands. Unfortunately, it hasn't been doing much for my skin. In fact, cheaper more affordable serums have given me better results much sooner. My skin didn't feel extra hydrated or smoother or softer. I got about a week and a half use out of the deluxe sample used twice a day. I know that doesn't sound like very long but considering I started using this after I ran out of a very good, more affordable serum that gave me results within a week of use. I sort of expected to see good similar results from this given that 30mls cost over five times as much as 30mls of that other serum. I'm glad I got a deluxe sample for free because if I had splurged for a full sized bottle, I would have been incredibly disappointed. Needless to say I won't be wasting money on a full-sized bottle. Personally I don't recommend this.
Tips: I don't recommend this serum just because of the the price and how ineffective it was. There are other serums out there that doesn't cost an arm and leg and will give you results. But if you do get sucked into the pretty packaging, see if you can get a sample to try.
