I didn't purchase this EA Serum but was given it in a small bottle sample (I cannot remember what size it was) from Farmers. While the bottle sample of the serum lasted quite a few weeks considering the size, I noticed there was no difference to my face at all. I used this serum before putting on my moisturiser and primer. Once applied the serum has a glittery effect but that soon disappeared once the moisturiser and foundation were in place. Farmers might still have the samples if you wish to try. I would not purchase the full size product and it is very pricey for something that I felt didn't do anything.

Unlike the other reviews I like this serum. The captuals break when you pump it. The glass packaging keeps all of the ingredients fresh. It's very expensive, it hydrated my skin considerably. I found that it works really well under my makeup and a fantastic serum to illuminate the skin. If you like the Clinique Turnaround range you will love this.
Tips: Use in combination with the Flawless Future moisturiser
I received this a a win in a competition and was really pleased as I am a fan of Elizabeth Arden and this was no exception. The container is really special with a clear container and a gold pump. The serum is clear with lovely little pearls showing through the container which gives a feeling of luxury before you start. The little pearls break and mix with the base with each pump and only a little is reguired to give your skin a lovely dewy look. I have been using this for 3 weeks morning and night and feel my skin looks and feels softer and fresher.I have a very dry skin and this serum certainly makes my skin a lot softer.I noticed after a few uses that there was just a glint of sparkle on my hands after use nut on my face this is not obvious and seems to reflect away from any wrinkles which is a really nice effect.I didn't notice any scent as I used it but the product has a quality feel and absorbs into the skin immediately.
Tips: A little goes a long way and as such the product lasts a long time so initial cost is work it.
I was given a small bottle of this from Farmers and it lasted me a wee while. I admit I did adore the little pearls and they are nice and sparkly but I found the product a bit greasy and made my face shiny which is something I do not like and it the main reason I tend to avoid serums. My face did feel smoother but it didn't seem to even out my skin tone or rejuvenate my complexion although I suspect that the glitteriness of the product was probably designed to encourage more light to help the skin appear more youthful and vibrant but sadly it doesn't work for me.
I got this as part of a set from the BR Beauty Vault. I love that the vault gave me a chance to get something I wouldn't normally try because it's way out of my budget for skin care. The serum does in nice packaging and with a pump top its easy to use. It looks really nice sitting in the bathroom mainly because of the pearly things inside the formula. My skin has really taken to this serum and after an initial settling in period my skin is looking really good. It feels really moisturising when you first out it on but it quickly dries so you can put the day cream over the top. My skin has definitely looked great since I've been using this and if the cost wasn't so great I would probably repurchase it. My only gripe with this serum is that I seem to be going through it very quickly. Serums are one thing that I expect to last a while since you use such a small amount of them at a time but I'm already about halfway through this and I've been using it for about a month now. This is a lovely product though and I'm really grateful the BRBV gave me the chance to use it!
I bought this as a set from Farmers, it was quite a bargain at the time and I was very excited to try it after missing out on it in the vault.
First impression was...this is not for me, it's very glittery and sparkly. I didn't like that aspect about it at all.
I don't think I noticed any improvement in my skin after using most of the pump bottle. I also thought that I needed to use a decent amount to cover my whole face and neck and therefore it really didn't last that long, may 3 -4 weeks which is probably what it's meant to last. I usually use the Prevsge serum and it goes a long, long way compared to this.
The white pearls look great in the bottle floating in the clear serum but I feel it is a bit of a gimmick.
My skin hasn't changed so therefore I won't be repurchasing.
Tips: Definitely sample in store before purchasing at $121!
I was really, really lucky to be given a deluxe sample size of this. Packaging wise this it looks really elegant with the gold on the clear pump bottle and these pearls with a slight shimmer containing some advanced skin goodness. The claims are that it will help "reinforce the skin's moisture barrier, even skin tone, retexturize and reduce the appearance of early signs of wrinkles" as well as " rejuvenate the look of tired skin for a more energized complexion." The ingredients are water, glycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, pentylene glycol, PEG-6 caprylic/capric glycerides, adenosine, calcium alginate, caprylyl glycol, carbomer, ceramide 1, ceramide 3, ceramide 6 ll, cholesterol, citric acid, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, ethylhexyglycerin, fucose, gellan gum, glucose, glucuronic acid, hydrolyzed soy protein, hydrolyzed yeast protein, hydroxyethylcellulose, mica, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, phytosphingosine, PPG-26-buteth-26, propanediol, sodium lauroyl lactylate, trideceth-9, xanthan gum, chlorphenesin, phenoxyethanol, sodium benzoate and titanium dioxide. The texture of this serum is nice a light. It absorbs quite quickly, which is great for me since I'm into layering my skincare products but it also means that it would be ideal for summer. I don't know how the technology works with the pearls or how they get crushed into the serum when I pump it out but, the serum looks shimmery when it pumps out. As much as this is supposed to look magical, I'm not one for shimmer in my serums. Luckily I haven't noticed hardly any shimmer on my face when I apply it, although I have some shimmer left on my hands. Unfortunately, it hasn't been doing much for my skin. In fact, cheaper more affordable serums have given me better results much sooner. My skin didn't feel extra hydrated or smoother or softer. I got about a week and a half use out of the deluxe sample used twice a day. I know that doesn't sound like very long but considering I started using this after I ran out of a very good, more affordable serum that gave me results within a week of use. I sort of expected to see good similar results from this given that 30mls cost over five times as much as 30mls of that other serum. I'm glad I got a deluxe sample for free because if I had splurged for a full sized bottle, I would have been incredibly disappointed. Needless to say I won't be wasting money on a full-sized bottle. Personally I don't recommend this.
Tips: I don't recommend this serum just because of the the price and how ineffective it was. There are other serums out there that doesn't cost an arm and leg and will give you results. But if you do get sucked into the pretty packaging, see if you can get a sample to try.
firstly I want to state that I did not purchase this product but rather won it in a competition. I decided that even though I was happy with my skin care routine I would use this until finished and see how I went. the price tag and golden bottle made me think of luxury and I had visions of amazing skin. This morning after three and a bit months of using this serum I finished the bottle with a sigh of relief.... yes that's right relief, because now I can finally get back to skin care that I believe makes a difference to my skin. Its actually really hard to find a positive to this serum for me. Firstly the instructions tell you to use a full pump for each check and one for the rest of your face. This is way to much product and I found a pump or two went a long way. secondly with my normal serum I like to give my face a little massage while putting it on my skin, with this don't even attempt that, I tried and it lathered up like a cleanser. thirdly this serum made my hands and face look like I was covered in glitter which is not really what I want out of my skin care, I'm 28 not 8. The only real good point was the pump dispenser is easy to use.
