I was given this by a friend who works in the industry. It is very nice. I love the Prevage packaging - silver and gold and classy. This comes in the silver tube.
The product is a thick pale brown lotion, reminiscent of tinted moisturiser. It goes on light though and doesn't really add any colour to my skin. It does leave a shiny sheen though that makes my skin look bright and healthy. It also has a pretty and light fragrance. It makes my skin look and feel healthy and hydrated. It is awesome that is is SPF 50, and that it repairs DNA - if it does, that much I cannot tell. I also like that it has no parabens and is suitable for sensitive skin. I have sensitive patches and it hasn't irritated them.
I really like it on my skin, and if it looks and feels healthy, then hopefully it is. I do recommend trying it.
I received a couple deluxe minis of these a gwp at the Elizabeth Arden counter. The counter assistant told me each tube had enough for ten days because according to her I only need the tiniest amount because of the high spf. Now anyone who knows me, knows I pile on the spf in the morning, I actually make sure I have about half a teaspoon or size of one grape for spf on my face. So there's no way I would've just applied half a ml of this as my spf for the day.
What I do like about this is that it feels nice and light on my skin. It does seem to have a little bit of tint when it comes out of the tube but I don't really notice it on my face to be honest. I do however use this as a tinted moisturizer on my good skin days when I don't want to bother using a foundation brush or BB blender. Now personally I haven't seen a huge improvement on the health of my skin because I'm not wearing this consistently and because I choose to wear this in place of foundation or BB cream on my good skin days. I do like wearing makeup that has added skincare benefits so that's nice. It does have micronized zinc and titanium dioxide, I don't think I've taken photos with this on so I can't comment if you get flash back but then I'm wearing only a tiny amount and it's spread so thin. While I do like using this, it feels good on the skin and has mineral spf in it, I do think it's really overpriced for the amount I would need to get proper spf protection. So I think I'm better off buying an spf that's more affordable for the amount and if I want a tinted moisturizer I'm sure there are more affordable options for that.
Tips: On my good skin days I wear this as a tinted moisturizer and then use the Hourglass Ambient Powders on top and it makes my good skin look better.
