First of all love the shape and packaging. I think that's what attracted me the most to it. But the actual product itself is great when you don't want to put on anything greaser than this before applying on lipsticks. Makes sure that lips are hydrated and it smells and tastes great which is always a plus for us girls ☺️

I love this! The packaging, the scent, the formula and that its organic - love it! I purchased the Summer Fruits scent and it smells so good, that at times I wish I could take a bite! It makes my lips feel so supple and soft. It doesn't have a weird taste or fake sickly sweet fruit scent to it, it just smells like a natural mix of blueberries and strawberries - yummy! Can't wait to get a couple more of these.
Tips: Buy a few so you have one for work, your bag and your car.
I am in love with the EOS lipbalms. Ever since I heard about them a year or so ago, and then when I finally got them I was so impressed.
The container is obviously so distinct. Nearly egg-shaped, and coming in an array of colours. I currently have "sweet mint" and "summer fruit". They both smell divine. Obviously, sweet mint has a minty scent, and summer fruit sort of smells like passionfruit to me?
Honestly though, I haven't been using them much only because I'm paranoid they'll run out and they're expensive to purchase as a lone balm. The thing with these products is that you don't even need to use it often because of the fact that they're so effective! I actually used to have cracked, peeling lips, but EOS helped me achieve soft, supple lips.
Onto the consistency, when you apply the product, it comes on very smooth and moisturising. It lasts for ages. I even brushed my teeth with it still on, and it didn't budge. They're also not tacky either which is a plus. Highly recommend these! EOS and Nivea are definitely my fave lipbalm range.
Tips: apply religiously before you go to sleep and when you wake up. You'll get super soft lips in no time!!
I heard fantastic things before trying myself, I had to jump on the bandwagon. My first thought when i received this was oh it's so cute. I love the packaging. I got the strawberry, it smelt nice. It made my lips smooth. Packaging is on the large size but you get a lot of product. But for the price I wouldn't purchase again as Chapstick does as good a job.
I do have so many of these and they are good but I find if you don't use them religiously they dry out your lips. I recently found my peppermint one was covered in black mould which was unfortunate. They smell great though and glide on beautifully, you get a lot of product as well :)
I hate things that are hyped, because I know if I buy them and I'm super disappointed, I'll be one of the few that don't like them. Luckily, I was gifted this from a gorgeous laydee called Sarah and I am in LOVE. The one she send me is what I'm assuming is Sweet Mint, as it didn't come in a box or packaging.
The color of the little tube is a mint green, and the little tube itself is so cute! It's unlike anything I have, and I'm interested to see what the tube looks like without lip balm. And it's not really a tube, its a little circle with a flat bottom so it sits upright.
It tastes pretty good, which is great as I often lick my lips without realizing. It lives up to it's name of sweet mint, and I love it but fiance hates anything peppermint so no kisses for either of us! I do like that it's a peppermint though as its slightly tingly.
The staying power is pretty decent, better than most lip balms I've tried. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for more, because they are so cute and I need them. All. I'm a pokemon master but of lip balm ;-)
I saw these on sale and decided to try it. Being an egg shape, it was quite a novelty so I purchased 3 flavours: strawberry sorbet, medicated tangerine (the packaging claimed it was good for sore, cracked lips) and lemon drop.
My first impression: wow these smell great. The egg shape made it easy to hold and when I applied the lip balm it glided on easily. The taste was pleasant and did not leave a bad after taste. The packaging claimed it was moisturising and gluten free. Also it stated that the ingredients were natural (95%).
I used it every day for the purpose of moisturising. I don't usually use lip balms .. I'm more of a lip gloss girl. I found however that after 4 days, I started to develop a cold sore, something I've never had before. I thought the medicated tangerine might provide some relief, but it did not.
In the end I stopped using the product and it took a week before the cold sore went away. In saying this, my friends did not experience the same issue. They loved the eos and it certainly did what it claimed it would for them.
Based on this I have to give it a rating of 4/5. Whilst it did not work for me, it does work for others. In terms of price, (I paid $9 for each), it is a little expensive but I would buy these as stocking fillers during the christmas period.
Tips: Check the expiry date on the packaging prior to purchase. I returned one of mine when I realised that the retailer had "accidentally" sold me outdated stock. According to the expiry on the other packaging, (2018), they can last for quite some time.
Let me start with the one negative point I have first: the shape. Which is also a positive? The round, egg shape can sometimes be really cumbersome if you're trying to pack a small bag. When compared to pots or sticks, the egg shape is much larger and a little difficult carry.
But really, that's not too much of an issue. At the same time, the shape is really nice! The egg twists in half, with one half having a domed-shaped lip balm. Usually, I just apply it as though it was a stick and it works really well!
The formula itself is really, really nice. I find lip balm sticks to be too sticky, and they tend to transfer way too much product to my lips. But this one does the job nicely, providing just the right amount. Of course, if you want more, you can always build it up. A few swipes should do the trick.
The formula is a waxier than most - which is something I like. It lasts for ages, too. I have the strawberry scented one, and it smells divine! I'd love to try more out though.
Finally: it does the job! Windy Wellington dries out my lips like crazy, but as long as I apply this a few times throughout the day, I barely even notice! Definitely work your money, ladies!
Tips: If you're not a fan of most lip balms because of the texture, you should still give this a go - but hold back. Only do one circuit around your lips and it lasts for ages with only a thin, barely noticeable layer!
Very moisturising get packaging is awesome and interesting you can do diys on it wen the product runs out or when ever the smell is nice and not overwhelming and I use this everyday really would recommend
Tips: Enjoy ur amazing lip balm while it last
I wanted to try these for ages but of course they are harder to find outside of America. I live in Korea and it was harder to find them here than it probably is even in New Zealand and of course just like New Zealand they are overpriced because they are imported goods.
Anyway that aside, lets discuss how they actually fair.
I like the packaging, it's very cute and they look nice. However, it's not quite as portable as a nice slimline tube. I find it takes up more space in my bag and you can't easily slip it into your pocket.
I love the flavors and smells, they have some great fruit flavors. I have the honeydew melon one at the moment and it smell and tastes great.
I would say that their actual use is average, I don't think that they are as awesome as everyone makes out them to be. I think that people got excited about the shape of them and were going on and on about how good they are and it just made a bigger deal than it would have been if they had just been in a normal tube.
I think they do an okay job, they are certainly not bad. I will continue to use the ones that I have and I would buy them again if I saw them. But I would not hunt them down like I did to get my first ones and if they were too expensive then I will probably give it a miss.
