I do have so many of these and they are good but I find if you don't use them religiously they dry out your lips. I recently found my peppermint one was covered in black mould which was unfortunate. They smell great though and glide on beautifully, you get a lot of product as well :)

I saw these on sale and decided to try it. Being an egg shape, it was quite a novelty so I purchased 3 flavours: strawberry sorbet, medicated tangerine (the packaging claimed it was good for sore, cracked lips) and lemon drop.
My first impression: wow these smell great. The egg shape made it easy to hold and when I applied the lip balm it glided on easily. The taste was pleasant and did not leave a bad after taste. The packaging claimed it was moisturising and gluten free. Also it stated that the ingredients were natural (95%).
I used it every day for the purpose of moisturising. I don't usually use lip balms .. I'm more of a lip gloss girl. I found however that after 4 days, I started to develop a cold sore, something I've never had before. I thought the medicated tangerine might provide some relief, but it did not.
In the end I stopped using the product and it took a week before the cold sore went away. In saying this, my friends did not experience the same issue. They loved the eos and it certainly did what it claimed it would for them.
Based on this I have to give it a rating of 4/5. Whilst it did not work for me, it does work for others. In terms of price, (I paid $9 for each), it is a little expensive but I would buy these as stocking fillers during the christmas period.
Tips: Check the expiry date on the packaging prior to purchase. I returned one of mine when I realised that the retailer had "accidentally" sold me outdated stock. According to the expiry on the other packaging, (2018), they can last for quite some time.
I have the EOS lip balm in Coconut Milk after hearing all the hype over them online (and from my EOS crazed niece!)
The size and shape of them is pretty strange really. I'm assuming it's to stand out from all the other lip balms on the market but it makes them a lot harder to use and they don't fit into my pocket or handbag as nicely as balms in tubes.
The scent and flavour is delicious, so much in fact that you do tend to lick it off your lips quite easily! When you're applying it, it feels like nothing much is really happening but then before you know it you've got quite a thick layer on. I don't mind this too much at the moment though because being early Spring my lips are a bit dry from the Winter chill.
As much as I like my EOS lip balm, I don't think I'd buy it again unless they brought it out repackaged in the typical stick/tube style.
I picked up the pomegranate flavoured lip balm at a make up sale however I do believe that these are stocked at the Japanmart's in Auckland.
The cute packaging is definitely a bonus with this product, its size means that I don't lose it in my hand bag so easily, and it's kind of fun to spin it around on my desk at work....
The product it's self for my pomegranate flavour is clear in the packaging and when applied. It is heavily perfumed and tastes amazing. I have to keep reminding myself not to just lick it straight off as it smells just like my favourite pomegranate muesli bar!!
I do find that it has been very hydrating, but I have not found it better then anything else I have used before. The organic/natural factor is a plus though.
I do like this lip balm: mainly for the packaging. The packaging sees me having not yet put it through the washing machine (...all the time with chapstick or tube lip balms), it didn't melt when I left it in my handbag in the sun and it is easy to find in a full handbag.
I like the range of scents (currently have passionfruit and strawberry). The product itself does the job (just as good as any other lip balm). The main reason for my higher rating is that I love the packaging more than other lip balms. A great addition to the handbag.
Tips: I bought mine at Martha's Backyard for cheaper then I have seen them on sites such as OnceIt!
Cute packaging, and super trendy and the moment. But they are an awkward shape. Smells amazing! It made my lips super duper soft Love it!
I get really dry lips especially during season change and always revitalizes my lips. I have all the flavours and buy them as gifts for friends.
Tips: I usually order them from the U.S as its cheaper but still worth the amount you pay in NZ.
Recently bought 3 of these in a deal as I have been dying to try them. So pleased to say I was not at all disappointed. The packaging is so cute and I love the bright colours. The shape makes them easy to hold and apply. The smell that hits you when you unscrew the top is exactly as the name describes and so yummy. They feel great on the lips, smooth and easy to apply and leave the lips feeling great. Only downside I had was it doesn't last as long on the lips as I would like but that just encourages you to apply more and have another sniff.
Tips: Buy more than one as you will want to keep one everywhere.
I've had a few of these and they always smell really delicious and i love the packaging. They definately moisturise my lips well and keep them feeling good while i use them, but i have noticed if i use them alot, when i go without my lips get dry and cracked very quickly, im not sure what causes this but its happened a few times to me. Another great thing is they are easy to find in your handbag and harder to lose down the side of your seat in the car! Lol.
I wanted to try these for ages but of course they are harder to find outside of America. I live in Korea and it was harder to find them here than it probably is even in New Zealand and of course just like New Zealand they are overpriced because they are imported goods.
Anyway that aside, lets discuss how they actually fair.
I like the packaging, it's very cute and they look nice. However, it's not quite as portable as a nice slimline tube. I find it takes up more space in my bag and you can't easily slip it into your pocket.
I love the flavors and smells, they have some great fruit flavors. I have the honeydew melon one at the moment and it smell and tastes great.
I would say that their actual use is average, I don't think that they are as awesome as everyone makes out them to be. I think that people got excited about the shape of them and were going on and on about how good they are and it just made a bigger deal than it would have been if they had just been in a normal tube.
I think they do an okay job, they are certainly not bad. I will continue to use the ones that I have and I would buy them again if I saw them. But I would not hunt them down like I did to get my first ones and if they were too expensive then I will probably give it a miss.
