It all started with one... Blueberry Acai. Now I have nearly completed the collection! Oops! I can not resist their unique and cute wee shape and how soft and nourishing these leave my lips feeling. Each EOS smells just like it is advertised too (my current favourite being Coconut Milk). These lip balms seem to last forever and when they do finally run out I have watched some pretty cool tutorials on how to reuse and recycle them! EOS lip balms have quickly become one of my favourites and I would highly recommend them to all!

I got this in sweet mint and I was so so excited! Now that I've used it I'll admit this isn't the best balm out there. However, for me it's the easiest thing to spot on my desk or vanity since I don't have anything shaped or with a colour like this, regardless of how messy it is. It's very easy to apply and I imagine it would be even more so for those with fuller lips since they can potentially get an entire lip in one swipe!
It sits on my lips very comfortably and once the tingling is gone I can barely feel it there. It is very good but it is just as easy to find a lip balm in the supermarket that is just as good as this one. The price was a bit steep too and I paid $9 for this. Would I use it again? Yes. Would I buy it again? No. I can't justify the price and mostly got it out of curiosity. Besides, there's plenty of other balms out there to try. I can't possibly limit myself to just one!
I picked up the pomegranate flavoured lip balm at a make up sale however I do believe that these are stocked at the Japanmart's in Auckland.
The cute packaging is definitely a bonus with this product, its size means that I don't lose it in my hand bag so easily, and it's kind of fun to spin it around on my desk at work....
The product it's self for my pomegranate flavour is clear in the packaging and when applied. It is heavily perfumed and tastes amazing. I have to keep reminding myself not to just lick it straight off as it smells just like my favourite pomegranate muesli bar!!
I do find that it has been very hydrating, but I have not found it better then anything else I have used before. The organic/natural factor is a plus though.
I recently picked up the summer fruits on at one of the make up sales and it is great! I get rather dry lips and I found that it really worked well on my lips and kept them nice and hydrated all through the day! I even picked up the sweet mint one on another trip as I'm a sucker for tingly lip balms and it is just as effective as the summer fruits one and they both smell amazing!
I personally think that there is too much product for the amount you use it. Within a year mine went bad and started to smell bad. Yet it did moisturize my lips pretty well.
i love the idea and smell of these lipbalms , but they just dont hydrate your lips, i find myself reapplying because my lips are still dry.
I think the main appeal of the EOS lip balm is the how cute the things look. I couldn't resist grabbing one because it was so adorable looking when I was out shopping. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this lip balm but there is also absolutely nothing spectacular about it. It's lip balm and it works, better than some, and not as well as others. I probably wouldn't purchase one again but that's really easy to say when they aren't in front of you and you're not smelling them all!
I love love love these sweet little fruity balls! They have an amazing scent and leaves your lips feeling super moisturized for a very long time! I obviously do not eat these, lol, but they do have delicious flavors that do not leave a foul taste in your mouth all day like many other lip balms do.
Tips: Wear over you're lip stick to give it a pretty shine!
Ok so I brought pretty much the whole collection when I was in the states and gifted them to all my girlfriends which they personally loved and raved about.
Yes the packaging is super cute, yes they smell and taste delicious, yes it glides on and looks good for a time but sadly the EOS balls were not for me. Not the best at hydrating/moisturizing my lips and I felt like I was constantly re applying. There are defiantly better lip balms on the market but maybe not as cute.
If only I could combine my all time fav balm Maybelline Baby lips pink glow with the EOS packaging then I would be in lip balm heaven.
Tips: Mint is def the best EOS ball
I have the EOS lip balm in Coconut Milk after hearing all the hype over them online (and from my EOS crazed niece!)
The size and shape of them is pretty strange really. I'm assuming it's to stand out from all the other lip balms on the market but it makes them a lot harder to use and they don't fit into my pocket or handbag as nicely as balms in tubes.
The scent and flavour is delicious, so much in fact that you do tend to lick it off your lips quite easily! When you're applying it, it feels like nothing much is really happening but then before you know it you've got quite a thick layer on. I don't mind this too much at the moment though because being early Spring my lips are a bit dry from the Winter chill.
As much as I like my EOS lip balm, I don't think I'd buy it again unless they brought it out repackaged in the typical stick/tube style.
