I personally found this product overrated. I'd heard people raving about it and I really wanted to like it but I just find the formula does nothing for me. Its not all bad though, the packaging is really unique and cute, and they smell amazing!

I kept seeing these in Cosmo, and was excited to find them on TradeMe and even had one sent over from America. Really overrated though, had to use lots to really hydrate your lips and it didn't last long. One of them even broke in half so the whole ball got stuck in the lid! The fragrances are nice but it's not enough to repurchase.
Tips: Don't waste your money.
Other than this product is in a super cute packaging, the product itself is pretty mediocre. I have a few of these lip balms to give it more chance to improve and work well on my lips but sadly it isn't that extra ordinary compared to any super market brand lip balms, considering that price is way too high as well as not being readily available in New Zealand. This product doesn't moisturise my lips well, I still get chappy cracked lips after multiple application. I am really gutted, I wanted this to work but unfortunately not for me.
I love the idea of not having to use your finger with this balm, but it is honestly lacks in quality. I have the pink one, (not sure what its called) and find that it is not a conditioning lip balm at all. I am very disappointed with this brand.
Tips: I don't recommend it...
I had recently purchased the pomegranate raspberry lip balm thinking that it would smell nice and be extremely moisturising. Since the company's name stands for evolution of smooth I thought it would be a nice smooth lip balm, or it would smoothen my lips. Boy, was I wrong... I found the scent too artificial and waxy. And the texture also a bit waxy, and not as soft as expected. In terms of moisturizing I've found it ineffective in comparison to brands such as blistex and chapstick. The only thing I enjoyed about this balm was the round shape of the balm and the pretty hot pink packaging.
Just like any beauty obsessed fanatic I had to get my hands on EOS Lip Balm as it was the thing to have, with the stand out circular packaging it was clear to others you had it, a certain look. I had heard it was amazing and nourishing for your lips but i was then to find out extremely disappointed.
The Lip Balm it self is very silicone like when applied, almost leaving a layer on the top of your lips that then fails to soak in and provide moisture? I feel this is a very below average lip balm hidden within the "must have" packaging and label.
Cute design makes it a cute item to have present in your hand bag for occasional use but if you are wanting a moisturizing balm then steer clear.
Tips: Don't over apply when it doesn't give enough moisture as this can have the reverse effect and further dry your lips out :(
There has been so much hype surrounding these balms both on YouTube and the celebrity world. There is also a lot of mixed reviews on how great of a balm this actually is which did put me off for a while. I read a little while ago that the striped container balms had a much more moisturizing product so when I saw one on a website that I was already purchasing from, I thought why not and clicked buy.
I picked up the coconut milk flavor. The packaging on these is really cute. It's a small egg shape and mine is light pink and a darker pink in a stripe pattern. It's a very secure screw lid, it's easy to undo but it's not going to undo itself in your purse. When you open this, you are greeted with a, well i dont know what else to call it, mound of balm.
This has an amazing smell, it's sweet and slightly tropical. I really enjoy the scent. The actual balm feels really nice and moisturizing on my lips and lasts for an hour or two as long as I don't eat or drink. Basically just what I would expect from a normal lip balm.
A con for me Is the actual size of the balm. It's a lot bigger than lip size so it can be a little annoying to apply without getting it on the skin around my mouth. Also, it is pricey for a lip balm.
Overall, I'm not 100% decided on whether I would buy this again. I like it enough to use it all up but I'm not super in love with it. I did find a brand called kiss in farmers that does similar shaped balms. I purchased one for $8 but haven't tried it out yet.
Tips: If you're worried about it not Being moisturizing enough, try the coconut milk or vanilla mint.
Ok so I brought pretty much the whole collection when I was in the states and gifted them to all my girlfriends which they personally loved and raved about.
Yes the packaging is super cute, yes they smell and taste delicious, yes it glides on and looks good for a time but sadly the EOS balls were not for me. Not the best at hydrating/moisturizing my lips and I felt like I was constantly re applying. There are defiantly better lip balms on the market but maybe not as cute.
If only I could combine my all time fav balm Maybelline Baby lips pink glow with the EOS packaging then I would be in lip balm heaven.
Tips: Mint is def the best EOS ball
It leaves your lips looking moisturised at first. After awhile it sends to dry out and reallocation is needed. It wasn’t for me I prefer a standered niva chap. Guess it’s what I’m used to. I didn’t like the lemon flavour or smell.
I purchased this from Marthas backyard, the american store in Mt Wellington, auckland. In all honestly, It was more of a hype then I expected. It is tasty and smells really yummy, but it in a way feels like petroleum jelly (vaseline) to me. It's thick and doesnt last compared to Nivea ones.
Overall, I loved the packaging, it's a cute little ball, so you twist and use. Easy to find in my hand bag then a normal lip balm, and of course its very tight so the lid doesnt go missing.
Tips: I speak for myself, but always bring this with you because you'll need to constantly use this or your lips will dry up quick!
