essano Clear Complexion Purifying Gel Cleanser Review

This facial cleanser is similar to most others. Many other cleansers that have the same effect. It does not leave my face feeling dry and it feels like it does a good job of cleaning out my pores. It contains natural ingredients which is good for the skin. The scent of this is not too frangranced. I would say that it partly does what it says, which is that it balances oil production.

This cleanser quite simply, does the job. It comes in a pretty tube which allows for easy dispensing of a small amount of product. It spreads easily, but doesn't lather. The ingredients list is different to many others as it is very clear what it contains - think broccoli, aloe vera and rosemary. This isn't a luxury product and the scent reflects this, but the price does also. This could be a great product for teenagers first being introduced to skincare, or for anyone looking for an affordable, easy to find cleanser.

How does this fit into my routine? I use an oil cleanser and cloth in the evening to remove makeup before using the Essano purifying gel cleanser. After finishing this trial I will return to my previous cleanser in the evening, but will continue to use the Essano cleanser in the mornings. The most noticeable difference that it made to my skin is reducing oil, making it perfect for morning use. This isn't a magical, life-changing product but it certainly works. A cleanser is only on my skin for a matter of seconds, so I'm looking for it to do what it claims and nothing more - that is exactly what the Essano cleanser achieves.

I purchased this ages ago along with the matching moisturiser. It comes in a 100 ml squeezy tube in white and pink colouring like the rest of the clear complexion range.

It is a thick, clear gel and does not lather up much at all. It has a subtle scent which smells quite herbal. I don't find it offensive at all. My skin is dry and unfortunately for me this is just far too drying on my skin even though it says it replenishes moisture and does not strip the skin.

I feel like it doesn't do a good job at removing my bb cream or foundation so you really need to go in with another cleanser or balm to start with then use this. For my skin type it is not suitable but other ladies seem to love it so if you have oily skin this is probably better suited for you.

I was given this cleanser to try by a friend, and unfortunately I'm underwhelmed. After a few weeks to a month of using I found no improvements in the breakouts I was trying to deal with and it made my face feel dry straight after washing. The dryness was fixable with toner and moisturiser, but without seeing any improvement over many other cleansers I wasn't keen on continuing.

this is a non foaming gel wash ,i did not find it cleaned my super oily skin very well ,it did reduce the acnes at some extent ,but did not do much to my oily skin and big pores. probably this range is designed for dry and acne prone skin ,
