This cleanser quite simply, does the job. It comes in a pretty tube which allows for easy dispensing of a small amount of product. It spreads easily, but doesn't lather. The ingredients list is different to many others as it is very clear what it contains - think broccoli, aloe vera and rosemary. This isn't a luxury product and the scent reflects this, but the price does also. This could be a great product for teenagers first being introduced to skincare, or for anyone looking for an affordable, easy to find cleanser.
How does this fit into my routine? I use an oil cleanser and cloth in the evening to remove makeup before using the Essano purifying gel cleanser. After finishing this trial I will return to my previous cleanser in the evening, but will continue to use the Essano cleanser in the mornings. The most noticeable difference that it made to my skin is reducing oil, making it perfect for morning use. This isn't a magical, life-changing product but it certainly works. A cleanser is only on my skin for a matter of seconds, so I'm looking for it to do what it claims and nothing more - that is exactly what the Essano cleanser achieves.
I received this cleanser as part of the Clear Complexion complete skin care regime. I was excited to try it as I love Gel Cleansers.
It goes on well and foams up tiny amount. It seems to do the trick with removing light makeup which is great. It has left my skin smoother and has definitely helped to reduct oil and shine in my T-Zone. It didn't smell too bad in comparison with some of the other products from this range although it did still take me a few days to get used to it. I would happily purchase this again as I have found it to be a suitable cleanser for my skin.
Tips: Use with the rest of the Clear Complexion range for premium results.
