essano Clear Complexion Rapid Action Blemish Gel Review

I trialed this as part of the essano under 25 range and I have to say this one is by far my favourite. I love the idea of a spot fix that's potent and acts fast. This has shown the most significant results and therefore is the one I'm most likely to repurchase.

This has a very light, natural smell. Like a crushed up herbal ointment or something. It's unobtrusive and I like that they didn't put in any fragrances because this is going right on my acne spots, which are potentially really sensitive or even open wounds.

The product comes in a tiny squeeze tube with a sharp tip that has a small opening. I really like the level of control you have when squeezing it out, because you don't need a lot of product and there isn't really much in the tube so it'd be a waste squeezing out a huge dollop. The texture is a light gel, not too liquidy but easily spreadable and fast to dab in. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue.

I was initially worried this might sting on any popped pimples but this is surprisingly mild and even soothing. It helps dry out larger pimples and reduce the smattering of acne that I have on my forehead. In general I feel like any major spots I get have healed over much faster after using this. I'd definitely repurchase this since it's such a good price and it's so helpful when you need an overnight miracle for a big day ahead or for an unexpected pimple that's cropped up.

Having used sooooo many blemish gels and treatments, I was highly skeptical about this product. I've never used Essano before, and was unsure if a supermarket brand would really work.

The packaging is cute with it's matte colouring. The whole Essano Under 25s range looks so pretty together on my shelf! The gel is easy to extract from the tube, and thankfully not too much came out of the tube all at once.

I have used this several times over the last 3 weeks to target specific spots as they came through. It sits on top of the skin nicely and doesn't leave white residue behind. I put it on at night after cleansing and toning, but before moisturising. Usually I would use Benzac for this problem, but I find Benzac to be really harsh on my skin.

I was super impressed that the Essano gel didn't dry out my skin. But most importantly, it works! The blemishes were diminished in size and less red the next morning after use at night time. I could also put it on during the day underneath makeup - something which you definitely can't do with Benzac.

I really like this product, and will continue using it.

This product was great. Small and simple packaging, didn’t look clinical like other spot treatments, didn’t smell bad, did not leave a coloured residue on the face once dry and most of all it actually worked! Very simple to use, clean screw top and effective treatment. Redness taken out of pimples very rapidly.

This gel comes in a 15ml tube with a screw-off cap. The first time I used this it came out a bit much and a bit fast and I learnt you have to be a little careful when squeezing the product out! It's a clear, smooth gel that has a really nice fresh sort of smell - that reminds me of cinnamon and baking products.

The product itself is amazing! As someone who breaks out frequently, I was so excited to try this product and it did not disappoint! I used this set before bed, and I felt like the first night I used this my spots disappeared overnight! While using this set I didn't break out or have many blemishes or spots, but when I noticed the start of a spot I applied this product and my spots never turned into anything ugly.

Very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it!

I love the simplistic packaging and how it is an organic product.

It doesn't have a horrible chemical smell and feel. It didn't dry out my skin or burn which is great!

I (luckily) didn't have many spots to try this out on but, on the couple that I did get I found that they disappeared virtually the next day!

I would definitely keep this one handy.

I really liked this product. I borrowed it from my mum for a raging pimple. I was really surprised how well it worked and pleased with the result. My pimple had decreased in size in a day, and I continued to use it for 3 days until it had disappeared.

I tried this product as part of a trial for the entire Essano Clear Complexion range.

I had great results with this product. I used it as a spot treatment for a few pesky spots and also used it regularly on my chin where I'm prone to constant breakouts. I definitely experienced better skin while using this product alongside the rest of the Clear Complexion range which has been amazing!!

The packaging is also simple and sophisticated, the product easy to get out and the product has a fairly neutral and inoffensive smell.

I would definitely give this product a go if you are prone to breakouts, especially in oily patches.

This blemish gel comes is very cute packaging. It is a bit sticky, but this is to be expected. It has very little to no smell and has your typical texture of a gel. You only need to use a tiny bit.. so even though the tube is small, it will last a long time. Don’t squeeze the tube too hard when using it as in your first few uses, it will start spilling out once you open it. I did notice that my pimple definitely didn’t last as long when using this product. If applied at night time, my pimple would be noticeably less red the next morning, and some has even gone over night. It also seems quite affordable compared to other blemish gel products.

Aleyah (15) liked the idea of a blemish product in a gel form, she mostly used it at night, due to sweaty p.e classes and high school. Very easy to use , she said you just dab it on. She said I mostly just rubbed it all over my face.

Aleyah has hormonal skin ranging from sometimes inflamed big spots and lot's of blackheads and sometimes just a few spots. At present Aleyahs skin is actually very clear.

The blemish gel is a very good sized product and it doesn't really have a scent. We both think the gel is working wonderfully. Aleyahs complexion has brightened up a lot as well and is not as red. The gel is not sticky , quite thin but a aloe vera gel like consistency when you rub it in.
