It’s a okay serum I didn’t finish the whole bottle as it didn’t stand out to me. The smell was off putting. It felt nice on the skin but I noticed it didn’t really do much long term. If your looking for a affordable serum to add to your skincare routine I would recommend but if you have serious skin concerns I would recommend getting something that actually has a affect.

I love Essano usually so I was pleased to get two of these from BBBEs.
I like the pump bottle and the branding is typical Essano colours.
The product smells like all other Essano products - kind of rosehip meets cardboard.
As I've said before, I use a TON of serums and oils and apply them frequently throughout every evening. I note that I can only use a small amount of this before it stops absorbing and dries and flakes - grossss. Having applied too much then washed it off, I noticed my skin felt quite good, so it may work as a cleanser lol or at least it works ok if over-applied then washed off. If I stick to using a small amount it doesn't hydrate my skin as much as I like.
I will try to use the rest of this bottle but will put the extra bottle in my products-to-gift box.
Sadly this serum is a disappointment for me.
This was just ok for me. Didn't really like the smell. It smelt like stale oil and It was far too greasy and gave me a pimple.
The visible repair visible oil is much better for me and smells divine
Tips: Use for neck area
I'm not a huge fan of Essano, simply because something of theirs gave my face a horrendous rash and I didn't realize until I was halfway through the product. Using this product came with a bit of fear, but luckily I had nothing to worry about.
I like the packaging, it matches the rest of their line but somehow feels and looks just a little bit more luxurious. I do not like the pump at all though, it fires the product like a machine gun would a bullet. I can aim at my hand and the product comes out with such force it flies back up and gets on my chest or face.
The serum is quite thick, I’m used to serums being runnier. It’s a light brown/grey kind of color, and I don’t really notice any smell to it either, so that’s cool. It claims to smooth and soften wrinkles and I’m not 100% convinced it does that. My wrinkles are still there, but they might be slightly more hydrated than before. That could be down to other products too, so I’m still not convinced.
I’m glad this is readily available at supermarkets, in case I do feel like repurchasing. It might not do everything it says but it is still a great serum I enjoy using!
I was needing a new serum and purchased this via the vault . I am not keen on the packaging for Essano products as I hate the pink boxes so have been a little reluctant to try -Silly I know. Inside the box is a lovely brown glass pump bottle with gold writing which I like the look of very much and is a decent size with 30 mls for $30 so is at a very good cost compared to most serums. The pump works really well so make sure you direct it into your hand so you do not waste any . The colour is a creamy ,unattractive colour but the scent is a nice rose so that makes up for the look and not overpowering. First time I used the serum I was much too enthusiastic and ended up with flakey stuff on my face so was not off to a good start. I was more careful after this and have found a little certainly goes a long way. I have found my skin is softer with continued use and if you don't apply too much absorbs nicely into my neck and face so I would possibly purchase again however not my favourite serum.
Tips: Watch when you press the pump as can come out a little fast.
Essano's Facial Serum Collagen Repair is a serum designed to stimulate collagen and improve firmness and elasticity. It is also enriched with plant peptides.
In scent this serum reminds me of a mixture of Turkish Delight and roses.
In consistency, it is a lot thicker than most serums I've tried.
In terms of effectiveness, I have been applying this to fine lines on my forehead and I haven't noticed any difference. But it does keep my skin smooth and nourished.
What I really like about Essano's product is that they are NZ made, no nasties like parabens and cruelty free.
As far as serums go, it is functional and NZ made so I would buy it again.
Tips: Keep out of sunlight due to the oil in it.
I got this in one of the Beauty Vaults. I love Essano products, so I was excited to try it.
The serum comes in Essano’s traditional pink cardboard packaging. Inside you get a brown glass bottle with a black pump, golden writing, and a clear lid. The bottle is 30mls. The pump is easy to use, and it dispenses a pea-sized amount with each depression. The directions recommend 1 – 2 pumps for the face; but I find that 1 pump covers 1 cheek, the second pump the other, and a third the forehead. The instructions also say to apply the serum morning and night under moisturiser. However, I only use serums at night, so I have only applied it at night time under a night cream.
I was expecting this product to be either a watery sort of liquid serum, or a facial oil, but instead it caught me completely by surprise. The consistency is like butter and it smells like cocoa. The texture is divine. I love massaging the lovely buttery cream into my face, and I really like the scent.
I have been using this for a few weeks now. I do think it is lovely, but I have not noticed a huge difference to my skin since I started using it. Because it is a cream serum, rather than an oil, I think it will work very well for people with oily skin.
I have be using the serum every second night and it boost my hydration levels when using with the night creme and day creme, my skin hydrated and no greasy feeling in the morning unlike other serums I've used which leaves a greasy feeling.
Tips: Use with the essano night creme
I got this as part of my first beauty haul (thanks Beauty Review) and loved it straight away. I alternate between using a serum and Rosehip oil at night under my moisturiser. The pump on top of this glass jar is ideal for dispensing just the right amount of serum. At first sight it doesnt look very nice but being made of natural plant based ingredients its understandable. I have only used this a few times and every time I have my skin has looked lovely and fresh the next day. I normally pay $50 for my serum so I’m pretty excited to have found one that is less than half of that.
Tips: A little goes a long way so just one pump should dispense the perfect amount
This made my skin ridiculously dry and irritated. I actually felt itchy and had to deep clean my skin to try and remove it.
I dont have dermatitis, eczema, allergies and my skin is fairly normal.
I gave it to my mum to try and she immediately felt dry and irritated, she is in her 50s, has no skin issues and beautiful skin.
Tips: Dont buy this product!
