essano Hydrating Rosehip Gel Foaming Cleanser

I was picked to review this, so first thanks for that! I have lots of issues with my face, the biggest being eczema, then combination skin and the good old occasional adult acne. so im pretty hesitant to try things on my face. but this cleanser is soap free, so thats a big selling point for me. i like the bottle, nice looking and easy to use. its easy to apply, mine did go a little stiff in between applying and washing off, but that was only for the time it was on my face. pump some cleanser out onto your palms and rub together to get foam, although mine wasn't really that foamy, (it was more like a cream) after washing, my face feels amazing! i actually couldn't believe it. its soft, feels like i have moisturized it, when i haven't. the best park about this, my face has had no reaction to it, which is amazing, not itchy or redness. im super impressed!

I suffer from psoriasis so am really picky about products Inuse on my face. This was perfect as it is soap free and did not have a perfumed scent. The bottle is dark brown with a cute pink label. The lockable pump is perfect for use in the shower or tucked away while travelling. It comes in a 140ml bottle and the cleanser is clear in colour.

This was either to later and easy to spread across my face and skin. I did find the scent a little strange but given it was fine on my senstive skin, I ignored this. I found this product to leave my skin feeling soft fresh and clean.

This was great for my skin so this one ticked all the boxes for me.

Essano Rosehip Oil Cleanser is a soap-free facial cleanser with active natural botanicals and certified organic. It is not tested on animals and is made in NZ. The cleanser is rich in certified organic Rosehip Oil and includes Aloe Vera for hydration. 97.36% of the total ingredients in the formula are of natural origin with 5.05% of the total ingredients from organic farming. Essano is a New Zealand based natural skincare brand that I've only recently become aware of because of the brand's eco-friendly philosophy. Essano claim that their Rosehip Facial Oil will soothe, renew and cleanse skin without drying. The cleanser comes in a brown plastic pump bottle which is recyclable and easy to dispense. I like that the entire bottle is a dark brown which helps to protect the integrity of the ingredients. A label wraps around the bottle, with a product description, a full ingredient list, plus a list of ingredients that you will never find in Essano's products, for example no parabens, sulphates, silicones, and so on. All of the product's packaging is recyclable. The cleanser has fragrance added which smells slightly synthetic but as it dissipates quite quickly it wasn’t a problem for me. I use the cleanser every morning and evening along with my other Essano products. I wet my face and neck and use one pump on my facial brush, which I then use to thoroughly clean my skin. The gel in combination with water, works to a very light lather, only foaming slightly. I find the gel works well on its own but it is exactly the right consistency to use with a facial brush. I really like the pump action of this cleanser and find that you don't need very much to obtain completely cleansed skin. I am particularly wary of gel cleansers as I find many are too drying and often have leftover residue. A little goes a long way so it's excellent value for a natural plant based cleanser which is free of GMO's and contains such good ingredients. I have combination skin, and my skin can be slightly dry. I found this cleanser did take off my makeup well, I also haven't had any skin reactions, but it left my skin with a slight feeling of tightness and dryness. I felt I had to follow up with a moisturiser straight away. However, I do not feel that my skin has been stripped of its natural oils. I do think this cleanser does the job, taking the price into consideration I think that it is an excellent product. I would recommend it, but I would not personally re-use it. I think this product would work better for normal to combination skin which doesn’t have areas of dryness.

This cleasner is very easy to use, just pump on to hand moistened with warm water & rub together. Foams up great. I light rose fragrance thats not overpowering. Washes off nicely leaving skin feeling silky smooth. Have ised this for six days & had no reaction on my sensitive skin which is great, my 15 year old daughter also used it & liked it, she has typical teen acne which while it hadnt significantly improved it definitely didn't worsen. For the price & availability I think this is a great affordable product & will like to see how long it lasts.

I was lucky enough to be selected to review this product free of charge from beauty review. This product is a gentle foaming facial cleanser containing rosehip oil and aloe Vera. The scent of this product is so beautiful!! That’s my ultimate favourite thing about this product is how nice is smells. I love the fact that it’s New Zealand made and has no parabens, sulphates, silicones, phthalates, ethoxylates, PEGs, PPGs, mineral oils, GMOs and no animal testing yay!!! The texture is a clear gel type formula and even tho it say foaming it never foamed at all for me. That doesn’t bother me though. I always wear a lot of make up so this was the perfect test on me. I think it removes makeup very well and leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. I didn’t use it on my eye area though as I wasn’t sure about wether that would be ok as it doesn’t say on the bottle. Over all a great cleanser and I’d use again for sure. Beautiful packaging too!!!

I found this a very effective cleanser, which left my skin feeling soft and clean. It easily removed my makeup at the end of the day, and washed off cleanly and quickly. The pump was a bit tight at the start, and it did dispense more than I needed sometimes. The design of the label is stylish and appealing, but I am trying to reduce my plastic consumption, so maybe providing refill bottles would be a good idea, and ensuring that the plastic used was recycled and encouraging recycling of the bottles would be appropriate.

I have looked at this product on my supermarket shelf with the intention of trying it due to the natural products and ready availability at the supermarket. I liked the convenience of the pump bottle for easy quick use in the shower. The product is nourishing and soothing, it left my skin feeling nicely cleansed.

I was lucky enough to be included in the trial tream for the Essano Foaming Facial Cleanser, I’m a huge fan of all the Essano products and my shower and dressing table are full of their body washes, shampoos and skin care products.

The packaging as always is gorgeous in the rose pink colour. The pump dispenser works well and you really only need one pump to cleanse. Unlike some other cleansers this one does actually clean off all eye make-up, including mascara, so reducing the need to use another product.

My main complaint, and for me it’s a big one, is the scent...... it’s way too strong, enough that every time I used it I felt it was just ‘too much’

It worked well but to be honest I think I’ll stick with Essano’s Creme Cleaser, it works just as well, asnd has a far more subtle scent to it.

I love the Essano products and never tried this one. It is amazing. My skin felt so soft and smooth afterwards, it felt clear and clean. I have very sensitive skin so this range of products suits me to a tee. I highly recommend you try this and feel the difference,
