Beautiful light cleanser that leaves your skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It foams up really well so you dont have to use too much product each time. Personally I'm not a big fan of the scent of this product however only having just discovered rose hip doesnt smell like flowers then that's justifiable. My face doesnt feel dry after using it. Great price for the amount of product you get.

Tips: Foam it up in your hands before applying.
I'm a huge Essano fan, but I haven't delved into their cleansers before. Because cleansers can be so drying I've opted for a higher end, more prescriptive cleanser in the past.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this - it really is what it says. A gentle, foaming cleanser. It's not really sudsy, it produces a light froth.
It doesn't strip or over cleanse your skin but it does effectively remove grime and makeup (except waterproof mascara, but heck, we're not expecting miracles people)
It's a very generous size and it's a pump bottle, yay!
Overall I honestly don't think you can find a better supermarket cleanser. Oh, and its natural! And kind to bunnies.
Winning!
The Essano hydrating rosehip gel cleanser really works wonders, it leave my skin free of all makeup residue and feeling healthy and dewy, it works especially well with the other Essano skin care. I apply it with a flannel and then lather it with my hands. Its hard to find a cleanser that will remove long lasting or even waterproof foundation but this one really gives a great cleanse. And the bonus is it contains over 97.38% natural organic ingredients which is very appealing. I really want to support products that have no nasty chemicals because who wants to put hidden toxins on their skin. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a great makeup removing cleanser.
t effectively removes dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping away moisture, leaving my skin clean and balanced. The addition of rosehip oil provides nourishment and hydration, making my skin feel soft and supple after each use. The cleanser has a subtle, pleasant scent that enhances the overall cleansing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle yet effective cleanser that promotes hydrated, radiant skin.
Tips: I love the pump bottle because just one pump is enough and goes a long way.
I was really excited to try this product when I first saw it at Countdown. The packaging is great - I loved the brown bottle with the rose coloured label and bottle with the pump - the price is fabulous - I believe I paid $15 at Countdown.
The texture and constancy (thick) of the Cleanser is very nice and the application is easy and smooth on the face. I love the pump as you know exactly how much you need without wastage.
I found the cleanser did not remove my make-up (even when using a make-up wipe first to remove excess) my excess eye Make-up just seemed to smudge around my face. I was not too keen on the smell personally and that actually put me off the product.
At this stage I do not plan to re-purchase as it did not quite meet MY needs, however that does not mean I would not recommend to others as I do believe it is a great product.
I've been using this after trying it in my samplebar subscription, I've purchased the full size which is very generous for sizing. I really like the scent. The cleanser has a thick gel like consistency, and is easy to apply. I do need to make sure when washing it off, that it is properly rinsed off, as it is thick. It gently removes eye makeup as well.
I love the pump bottle, very easy to use and one pump usually is enough. The consistancy of this cleasner Is a nice smooth thickness. The smell Is lovely and very suttle which is great. I love the fact that It has rosehip oil in it which my skin is in favour of. It leave's my skin feeling smooth and clean, the only downfall for my skin (which is combination) is that it seemed to dry it out abit and make my skin feel tight, which I did'nt think would happen as it contains rosehip oil and is soap-free and claims to be non drying., so for that reason I do no longer use this or have repurchased this product. It's just not for me sadly as it is really affordable.
Tips: some skin types will need a good serum or moisterzier to re hydrate the skin after cleansing.
This is a good basic average cleanser! I must be the only person in the world that is immune to rose-hip. So I gave this to my teenage brother that has sever acne to try out. Therefore I am writing this on his behalf and how well it worked for him.
At fist he was put off the scent but to me it smelled divine. So girly and rosey. One pump is enough and it therefore made it so much easier for someone in there teens especially boys to use.
It took about 3 weeks before we noticed a major difference. His pore were much clearer aswell as the blemishes where much smaller! No big bumps here! He seems much more confident now and he doesn't mind the scent due to how effective it was.
I first stumbled across this as a sample size from Sample Bar and was so impressed I went out and bought the rest of the products from this range! It has a lovely scent, it foams well and you don't need to use much to feel like you've given your skin a decent cleanse. I have very oily skin and since using this for a few months it has calmed down a bit.
Tips: If you want to try the range, at Countdown they have an introductory pack with the cleanser, body lotion etc in it in sample sizes - great for taking on holiday too! Its usually $25 but I've seen it on sale for $20
I started with the trial pack and then bought the full size as I liked it. It is a vegan cleanser with some organic ingredients and states it on the bottle. It is meant for all skin types, meaning you don’t have to figure out your skin type. The trial size is now done in a small tube, it used to be a small pump bottle, both options are good for travelling with. The full size is a brown tinted plastic bottle with a dark pink rose coloured label in it.
It is a clear gel and goes on easy. The gel is not runny, it is thicker than a lotion and can hold its shape in your hand. When I first started using it the smell did get to me a little and I didn’t like it. Now I’m not so fussed over the smell but not completely in love with it either.
Depending on what you are using with this depends on the amount of foam. I take 2 pumps from the small trial size bottle or about ½ a pump from the big bottle. By itself with water, it foams well. I have been using a Konjak sponge while it foams it does not foam as much, similar on the occasions where I use a flannel or face cloth. When cleansing it does not feel tight on my skin, this is including when I had mild sunburn on my face. If I haven’t bothered to take off my make up; bb cream, lipstick/gloss remains, powder and bronzer, the cleanser also takes it off. I haven’t tried it on my waterproof mascara yet.
At present this will be my main go to cleanser as it is gentle on my skin and works well with my normal combination type. And I am planning on rebuying once I have run out as it is reasonably priced. It pops up on special about every 2 months or so at Countdown.
Tips: If you are not sure on this brand, get the trial size box as it is less of a commitment and expense than buying the full size bottles.
