I really like this cleanser!

It comes in a pump bottle which I find super convenient – I hate having to unscrew bottles etc when doing my routine.

For a ‘natural’ product it smells delicious! I am not normally a fan of the ‘natural’ smelling products so this sweeter scent is a great change in my opinion. I honestly can’t stop smelling it as I wash my face.

My skin is sensitive dry-combination and I find this formula just right. It doesn’t strip my face of moisture, is gentle, but it does actually clean it well. I had no irritation at all.

It doesn’t fully remove my waterproof mascara, so I still have to remove that separately (not a biggie for me though).

A little goes a long way - I received 2 x 30ml samples in a subscription box and I have been using it for the longest time.

Easy and convenient to purchase, just from your local Countdown. The $13.99 price for 140mls is great considering how long it lasts!

I don't really know why, but I wasn't expecting much from this product. I received it in a gift set of 5 decent trial sizes, which I purchased for a week long trip to Australia. The smaller size came inn a small soft pink coloured screw top tube, but the full sized product comes in a larger brown bottle with a label inn the same pink, and a pump-action dispenser.

The clear, softly scented gel doesn't lather a lot - a good sign as this always indicates to me that there isn't a high soap content. It smoothes onto skin and clears away makeup, grime and daily normalities like oil.

The rosehip and aloe are super soothing and non-drying, and skin is left clean, soft, and feeling healthy. This cleanser rinses cleanly away, without residue or any form of tingling or stinging sensation -and no dry skin! It seemed to balance out my oily, acne prone skin well.

I'm panning cleansers at the moment but this will be the one I purchase when mine are used up. Natural, effective and cheap - what's not to love?

This has been my go-to cleanser on days when I want something that's not harsh or drying on my skin. This has a gel-like consistency with a little bit of a foaming action. Generally I prefer a product with a very generous foam as it makes me feel like my skin is being well-cleansed. The gel like texture of this cleanser means that I don't miss the lack of foaming as it seems to distribute well across my face and gently freshen my skin. I will repurchase as I like to have a gentle cleanser on hand for use once or twice a week

At around $14.00 for 140 mls I thought I would give Essano Gentle Foaming Cleanser a try. I wear a lot of product on weekdays for work so to do a thorough cleanse I need something pretty hardcore. I used this for the first time but I felt it was just a bit too gentle for what I needed. I do cleanse my face in the shower in the mornings and this is where Essano came into its own. It foamed up nicely and left my face feeling totally cleansed and hydrated and ready for the day ahead.

Let's just start this off by saying this cleanser is definitely not a foam cleanser, I have no idea why it's called that. If anything, it's a gel cleanser. This didn't bother me because I didn't buy it based on the fact that it was meant to be foam, but it's worth pointing out. This cleanser is just great, it removes every spec of my makeup super easily, even my very full coverage, long wear foundations. It's very gentle on my skin but leaves it feeling super clean, without feeling overly dry. It doesn't have much of a scent either which I think is nice. I follow this cleanser up with rosehip oil and a moisturiser and my skin has never been happier. It's cleared up, has evened out in tone, and is just much calmer.

In general I find Essano products hit and miss, but this one is a winner. The addition of rosehip oil makes for a gentle wash that cleanses without stripping natural oils from the skin. In addition, this product is easily purchased from the supermarket, making it accessible and affordable. The packaging is a smart brown bottle with a pump top, making it easy to get out a suitable amount of product.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the inclusion of parfum in the ingredients list. Essano do say they only use parfum that has been proven to be non-toxic, but I would still prefer complete transparency in an ingredients list so I can make my own informed decisions.

I’m guilty of sometimes getting quite aggressive cleansers because I feel like it’s actually doing more cleansing. So it was great to try this super gentle cleanser and notice that I still feel like I’m getting results.

I’ve used the hair products from this range before and I much prefer the smell of this cleanser to the shampoo and conditioner I use. It still smells natural but isn’t overwhelming.

I also love the gorgeous packaging in this range and that it has a super easy to use pump, which isn’t super common in cleansers.

Overall I’ve really enjoyed using this cleanser as my everyday for the past week and I’ve found it really gentle, effective and hydrating.

I like this cleanser it definitely cleans my skin it works up to a good lather and you dont need much gel for it. Could be more effective as some of my makeup didnt come off so might need to use cleansing oil after this. All in all a good product
