I got this product in a pack. It was OK as a cleanser. It wasn't harsh on the skin but didn't really feel like it cleaned my skin properly. There wasn't really a scent and it didn't seem tob foam

This foaming cleanser is a lot of fun and has a beautiful rose secent to it, I love how soft it is and caring for sensitive skin. It's easy to use, but it ran out quickly and was hard to get out at times.
Tips: Not leaving it on for too long makes your skin feel nicer! Using it in combination with their facial mist make my skin look amazing
Having finally finished up my goodness cleanser I brought this to use as I definitely felt like a change. Really needed to go from a cream cleanser to a foaming cleanser.. with the sunscreen and makeup I use I need something to help lift it off my face.
This is nice and light and a little goes a long way. It comes in a handy pump bottle - I also got a mini travel tube size free which is handy. It's cute packaging with the rose pink label and the bottle itself blends in quite nicely with a few other bottles I have around the place.
In terms of effectiveness it's maybe too effective. It lathers up nicely and has a light pleasant scent but... it was quite drying on my skin. I definitely had to use a moisturiser and serum straight away after using to get rid of the tight feeling I was feeling. I did feel like it washed the day away - I felt clean and that it made a great attempt at removing makeup also.
I feel like it's good but not great - for the price I paid it's not the worst. I will definitely use it up no matter what as it's not terrible.. but will just have to put the moisture back on to fight that tight feeling.
28 yo female, fair complexion, historically oily to combination skin, now combination to dry skin.
This cleanser is ok. That about sums it up. It's just average for everything. If I were super concerned with acne I would not use this. When my skin was really bad I had specific products that worked with my skin to try and get it as clear as possible. As I'm now more interested in keeping dry patches at bay than oily patches, this does an ok job. I've received better cleansers in previous beauty boxes. My dry patches are still under control as they are just mild anyway and my oily patches are fine but not as clear as with other products.
Tips: Use a vibrating cleansing brush, they're amazing. If I was just using this with my hands, I think it'd be a lot worse.
This face wash is pretty nice but somewhat pricey, I felt. I also didn't feel that it foamed much, as I thought it would based on the name. Pretty strong smell. But has a nice feel and cute packaging. Still a good product for travelling.
I was really excited to try this product when I first saw it at Countdown. The packaging is great - I loved the brown bottle with the rose coloured label and bottle with the pump - the price is fabulous - I believe I paid $15 at Countdown.
The texture and constancy (thick) of the Cleanser is very nice and the application is easy and smooth on the face. I love the pump as you know exactly how much you need without wastage.
I found the cleanser did not remove my make-up (even when using a make-up wipe first to remove excess) my excess eye Make-up just seemed to smudge around my face. I was not too keen on the smell personally and that actually put me off the product.
At this stage I do not plan to re-purchase as it did not quite meet MY needs, however that does not mean I would not recommend to others as I do believe it is a great product.
I am hard to sway from my standard skincare routine, & really, I need an exfoliator. This is the only reason I would not buy again. It smells amazing, the whole series is awesome, the night cream is my favourite, but as they don't offer an exfoliating cleanser, it's not something I would buy again. If you have dry or sensitive skin though, then I would definitely recommend this,
I found the cleanser to quite easy to apply, though it didn't foam as much like other cleansers. My skin didn't feel dry after using it, however I am combination skin so I am not sure how this would fair with people who have very oily skin. Sadly the smell just wasn't pleasant for me, the other Essano the cream and oil etc smell really good its just this cleanser smells quite metallically..
Just bought a trial box of the Essano range from Countdown. I normally use the Sukin Exfoliating cleanser, so this product was new to me. I put about a 2-pea sized blob on my palm and rubbed my hands together while in the shower. I found it rather like wet vaseline in texture, I wouldn't call it 'foaming', perhaps more of a lather. After using an exfoliator I found the feeling on my face a little odd, it seemed oily. I've heard of cleansing the face with oil so I thought that was fair enough. On washing it off I found that my face felt dryer than usual, and a little tight. Now, if you interpret that feeling to mean that you've cleaned your face, then you'll like this product. It doesn't strip the oils out like the sort of cleansers we used at teens to kill spots, it's pretty gentle compared to those. However I won't be using it again, and will go back to my Sukin product. On the plus side it did smell nice.
I love it has a pump which makes it easy to get out, the fragrance isn't to over whelming. I didn't find it really cleansed my skin or foam up that much. I'm normally a fan of foaming cleansers so this was a big let down. Can't really complain to much for the price.
