I brought this as it was on sale and cheaper than my normal one, however, it caused a reaction all over my face, including burning and I had to stop using it immediately. This made me sad as many friends have recommended this brand but it just didnt work for me. It would probably be amazing for someone who doesnt have sensitive skin.

I loved this micellar water. With the addition of rosehip, I felt that my skin wasnt left dry after using. Was effective at removing eye makeup, and gentle enough on my sensitive skin. My skin felt refreshed and hydrated after using.
I don't usually purchase micellar water but received a bottle as part of a gift so am slowly working my way through it. It definitely does what it says it does, is great as a quick fix for those make-up malfunctions and effortlessly removes a full face at the end of a night. Haven't noticed any irritation from using it either which is a definite bonus!
Tips: Use to quickly remove make up at the end of the night when you just want to fall into bed.
So I finally decided to give Micellar water a try after hearing a lot about it. I decided to try the one made by my favourite New Zealnd brand, Essano.
I love Essano's skincare products because they feel very rich on my dry skin, and they do not irritate my skin either. I think it is the magic ingredient of rosehip oil that does the trick.
Although this is the only Micellar water I have tried, it seems to work very well. I use a cotton pad to apply the water to my face to remove my makeup. It feels like slightly sticky water going on, but there is no strong scent and it does not irritate my eyes. My makeup comes off really well. I find it works better than makeup remover, and it is gentler and less astringent. Some makeup removers have made my eyes sting in the past.
I have used it everyday since I first bought it two weeks ago. There is still a long way to go in the bottle before it is all used up too!
Tips: I have found that I did not end up replacing my cleanser with this. I still use a moisturizing cleanser after removing my makeup with Micellar water as I like the clean, soft feeling it gives better than the slightly sticky feeling of the water. But I definitely recommend this as a makeup remover for sensitive skin.
I love the packaging of this micellar water and the fact it looks pretty like all the other Essano products. However, on my bottle the lid broke (the top part of the lid didn’t completely come off though) so I never felt comfortable leaving it lying down in case it leaked. As a micellar water, it was easier and more convenient to use than cleanser. That being said, I needed at least a couple of cotton pads (sometimes 4-5!), so I found it was nicer to use on days when I either hadn’t worn makeup, in the morning before moisturiser, or before an actual cleanser. Even with all the cotton pads, the product boasts 200 uses - and to its credit it probably did last something near that! The product didn’t ‘sooth’ and I definitely needed moisturiser afterwards as it left my skin feeling a little dry. It also could sting my eyes sometimes, especially if I was removing a lot of heavy mascara. After I use up another micellar water that I have on the go, I'm not sure if I'll repurchase any micellar water again as it means going through lots of cotton pads. However, if you want to try a micellar water then this one is as good as any - it is definitely great for nights when you just can’t motivate yourself to do a full cleanse and lasts for ages with a very reasonable price point too.
Tips: If you are removing heavy makeup, start with the micellar water to remove most of the makeup & then follow up with an actual cleanser to remove the residue & save on cotton pads.
I have been using this generous bottle (400ml) of micellar make-up remover for over a year. It is lovely, gentle, and aesthetically pleasing, in a transparent bottle. I decant some onto a cotton pad then use the pad to wipe off my liquid lipstick, eyebrow pencil/gel, and some of my mascara. I say 'some' because I find this water to be next to ineffectual when it comes to eye make-up. The bottle doesn't claim to remove waterproof or gel formulas. I don't use it for these applications. It is uncomfortable when it leaks into my eyes but this is the same for most removers. That said, this product is all good for removing most cosmetics. I obviously find it okay or I wouldn't still be using it.
I'm a micellar fan, not so much for full face removal, but for touch ups and for helping take off any residue.
I look for a micellar that is soft, nicely (and subtly) scented, value for money, and looks nice on the shelf. This is all those things.
I love the clear packaging with the black pink and gold. The secure cap is a great feature as well.
The scent of the product is pleasant, subtly rosy without being overpowering. It does what I need it to, and does it well.
I would use this again - I do still prefer the Garnier one, but only marginally.
Tips: Micellar water is awesome for helping get dye off your skin when doing your hair!
Love me some Essano products, thought I’d give this one a go because I didn’t want to pay too much for makeup cleansing wipes, and I’d already tried the Garnier Micellar waters. So I’ve noticed that even if I don’t wear any makeup all day and use a facial wipe, it will come away pretty much the same colour as it came out the packet. But when I use this micellar water on a cotton pad it comes away dirty! Absolutely shocking to see how dirty your face can really get, even when it looks clean and fresh. This stuff works, man. It says it matches onto dirt and it certainly does, pulls it all right off. It’s also pretty good at removing makeup, eye makeup too, but you’ve got to be careful rubbing around your eyes as I’ve noticed that this lathers really easily. If you use too much you can work up a really thick lather. Also don’t rub too hard, you only really need a gentle circular motion to cleanse properly.
This is super gentle, and does not irritate my eyes. It's also very effective at removing makeup. It's really great value for money, and the large bottle lasts a long time.
Tips: Use as the first step for double cleansing.
Its great for removing usual makeup but I had a bit of issues when removing waterproof mascara and Maybelline's super stay lipstick. I also didn't notice if the addition of rosehip made this anymore special in comparison to other micellar waters.
