I like Essano's products because they are made here in NZ and they don't have the not so good for you ingredients such as parabens. So really you can't go wrong.
The moisturizer comes in a pump bottle which I prefer to a tube simply due to ease of use. And it also has SPF15. When I get a moisturizer I try to get one's with SPF so that it's protecting my face during the day.
The moisturizer made my skin feel soft and well nourished. The scent was nothing to write home about but it wasn't offensive either.
Much like most of Essano's products, I like it. I would use it again because it is pleasant, works, affordable, natural, cruelty free and made in NZ. All things I like in a product (particularly skincare). But it never becomes something I couldn't give up to try something else.
The moisturiser is packaged in a lightweight, dark brown plastic bottle with a pump nozzle, with a rose pink label. I love the packaging of the Essano products, and are drawn to them because they are crafted in New Zealand and certified organic. They also don't use some of the top harsh ingredients like parabens, chemical sulphites and others. I picked up this moisturiser at the grocery store because it has SPF15 in it and wanted to add it into my routine. It's so hard finding daily moisturisers with SPF!
The moisturiser has a silky, light weight consistency, and is a pink lotion. It applies and smooths easily on the skin and absorbs quickly. It has a light perfume-y type smell, but not offensive. I like that it promises hydration and protection, both of which I feel it does a good job of doing, however, after using this product for two weeks, my skin continued to break out. I tried it again a few months later, hoping for a different outcome and sadly it's just not ideal for my oily skin. It's a pass for me.
