I have used a number of wipes from different brands, I cant say that I have a favourite brand because I find them all much the same.
I found these wipes at my local Countdown and popped them in my trolley. I like to have a packet of wipes handy for those 'I cant really be bothered nights'.
There are 20 wipes in the pack, a pretty typical amount for wipes. They are packaged in the usual way, I found the size of the wipes comparable to other brands. I am super happy with the thickness of these wipes, probably the thickest I have used.
I found these wipes to be very gentle, not harsh at all and perfect for the eye area. I held the wipe on my eye to help remove the eye make up which it did well. I continued with the rest of my face. I found I used two wipes to get a nice clean feeling but I am ok with that as I dont use them everynight. These micellar water wipes leave my skin feeling clean and refreshed, soft and smooth.
I grabbed a couple of packets of these to try as I spotted them on clearance for a dollar each. I'm not a big wipe user as it's not the most eco-friendly option but I like to have them on hand for nights where I get back late and I am too tired to use proper make up remover. The packaging is cute; the classic dreamy essano pink colour, with a sticker to close the packet. I am not a fan of the sticker closure, as a sturdier plastic lid would be better, as the sticker doesn't stay stuck down well and then the wipes start to dry out. There is only 20 in the packet which means you end up going through them quickly, I think 30 would be a better quantity to include. I like that the wipes are fragrance free, and they are nice and thick. They feel pleasant to use, and my biggest gripes with wipes is them being too thin and having to rub at my face to get makeup, and these thankfully are gentle, soft and are a good thickness. They aren't that effective at removing mascara and eye makeup, takes 2 wipes at minimum to remove a full face of makeup, three most days for me as I wear a lot of eye shadow, so I don't think they are very economical or the most effective at removing makeup. I have sensitive skin and these have caused no issues and are perfectly gentle as the packaging promises. Overall, these are nice gentle wipes for sensitive skin, but they aren't anything too special or super effective at removing makeup, so I'd use again if they were super cheap but probably wouldn't go out and purposely buy these over other brands.
