This took me back to my first time in Fiji. It was my first holiday with my new husband and anything that reminds me of those two weeks is an absolute winner in my books. It comes in a sachet arrangement with a twist top.The packaging is useful to get the last drop of this incredible lotion out which is great because you want every drop out. It is a soft creamy lotion that smells...well I hardly have words to describe the fragrance. I think if you close your eyes and smell you are taken away to your most amazing favourite place. It is not all about the fragrance though, the lotion itself leaves your body feeling so soft and subtle. Im not sure that I would pay $30.00 for just 100grams, if it was in the Vauly again I would definitely try to get it again.

Tips: For special occasions or when you want to be taken away from today!
I picked this up in the beauty vault and it is a product that stands out.
My first impression was 'yikes, that's small!' This is only 100ml, which is small for a $30 body moisturiser.
My second impression was 'I like the packaging'. While it is a little reminiscent of baby food, parents prefer that packaging for a reason - it's easy to get everything out! It is also perfect for travel, easily squishing into an over-full toilet bag!
Ok enough about the look, what was it actually like? The product had that perfect consistency, moisturising without being oily, leaving your skin feeling beautiful. I found the scent very strong, but hubby, who is quick to complain if he doesn't like a product I wear, asked me what I was wearing that smelt so good! Now I always put it on before bed, knowing I can go to bed feeling moisturised and smelling like a Fijian flower!
The price is a deterrent, but if you decide to spend the money you won't be disappointed.
Tips: This scent is very strong, so don't wear strong perfume unless the scents are complimentary.
I thought I really liked floral scents but I guess I'm wrong here. This had looked like an amazing lotion that would make me smell awesome so I got this in the vault. I really tried to love it but the smell throws me off. Bad. It's not an unpleasant smell necessarily but it's just kind of weird. Most floral lotions and perfumes smell more like 'specially designed in a lab' and less like 'I pulled a flower off a branch'. This is one of those lotions that smell REALLY realistic. I have never smelled a real frangipani flower but if I do, I'm willing to bet that this lotion smells just like it. I think this would be great if you liked strong, natural floral smells.
It feels super soft and the texture is quite thin. This is great as a hand lotion and I've basically been massaging my poor freezing hands with them. A pea sized dollop is easily enough for my hands and I feel like this would last quite a while.
The packaging of this is awesome. The pouch like design means I can get every drop out of it with no waste. I'll probably give it a few more goes to see if I can get accustomed to the smell but otherwise I'll have to give it to my mum.
Because if it is, oh my lordy loo. It's amazing. I picked this up in the vault and upon arrival I cringed at how small the packaging was. I was glad I hadn't spent $30 on this, even if it does smell gorgeous. The pouch is like a juice pouch, similar to the body scrub from the same company. The lid twists off easily and inside is a creamy white nectar probably made by the gods themselves.
The smell is utterly... Oh I can't even describe it. My first hit smelled strongly of cinnamon, but not in an overpowering way. The second hit became more floral and gorgeous, and if that's the scent of a fragipani I want them all around my house so I can go roll in their scent.
The product itself is a white cream, a mixed consistency between thick and thin, but leaning more towards the thick side. It will slide off your hand, and quicker than you realize. It rubs in gorgeously and the scent lasts for hours, fading into a more subtle smell.
I really like this body lotion. My skin feels soft and smells amazing, and I do feel like I've been moisturized nicely. Sadly I don't see myself paying the $30 price tag for it again, but it was nice to try out :-)
I picked this up in the BR Vault, hoping it would be a little bit of luxury. On reading the reviews of the people who opened theirs before me, I was really hopeful that this would be a little tropical holiday I could take my skin on each day.
Instead, I'm on the fence.... it's overpriced and too strongly scented, but it is a lovely texture and a nice, light lotion.
The Essence of Fiji Frangipani Body Lotion comes in a sachet with a screw cap top, and looks a little like a juice or yoghurt pouch intended for children to take in their lunchboxes. The pouch is a gorgeous soft mid teal shade, and features artwork of a Fijian woman and frangipani flowers. It's a pretty little package.
The ingredients are clearly listed, and it's nice to see so many good oils going into the product...almond, macadamia, coconut etc. It also includes vitamin E, among other things.
The lotion itself is white and not especially distinctive on first look. It's mid-thickness, consistent texture and nicely creamy. It's a very light lotion and doesn't spread that well in my opinion.
I find the scent overpowering. I can definitely smell frangipani above all else, but they have added patchouli to try and break the sweetness with a little spice so it is a little softer around the edges. I would never use this on my entire body as I think it would be way too much. I just use it on my feet and hands.
The lotion leaves no residue on the skin and absorbs quickly. It's very light, so hands feel nice but not especially hydrated. It's more of a liquid fragrance than a moisturising cream.
I will use the pouch, but wouldn't repurchase, nor would I gift it to anyone unless I knew they liked it. It's such a strong, distinctive scent for a very middle-of-the-road lotion that I doubt it would appeal to everybody - although so saying I know of a few BR girls who adore it. It's just not my thing :)
I will start by telling you I love this Body Lotion! I was fortunate enough to get myself some Essence of Fiji Frangipani Body Lotion at our last Beauty Review Vault.
After first finding out about Essence of Fiji products on Beauty Reviews site, I then visited Essence of Fiji's website and knew then what I wanted to try.
I like the teal sachet-style packaging, which is practical and easy to use. This also means there will be no waste. You will want to use every last drop.
When you unscrew the lid and squeeze Essence of Fiji Frangipani Body Lotion in to your hand, the fragrance will astound you! I was blown away with the undeniable, heavenly scent of Frangipani.
The Body Lotion is white and the texture is lovely and light. Such a sweet, floral scent that leaves your skin lightly perfumed and the fragrance lasts most of the day.
Essence of Fiji Frangipani Body Lotion is easy to apply and my skin feels instantly soft and mositurised as it drinks up this goodness. A little definitely goes a long, long way.
This is only 100ml of happiness in a sachet so I do not use every day.
I am so pleased to have had the opportunity of being able to try Essence of Fiji Frangipani Body Lotion.
The Body Lotion takes me on holiday every time I apply.
