So I recieved this product as part of a trial team (and am incredibly lucky!!!) and had to admit I was a bit baffled by how to use it. This my show my naivety when it comes to high end products but I spent far too long googling before seeing an instruction that I believe was on the base of the bottle, advising to spread it with hands or cloth. Asides from my blunder I really liked the smell, it is understated and refreshing with a faint pomegranate scent, but without leaving me smelling like product. A little goes a fairly long way and I was really surprised by how fresh my skin felt afterwards. I even used some on the rough patches on my triceps and was super pleased about how soft it felt.
It absorbs fairly quickly and has actually made me feel so happy with the glowing look that I've practically gone without foundation for the last two weeks. I'm also less concerned about this being 'overly moisturising' and leaving me with oily skin.
The only downside for me is the price - I don't know if I can justify the price tag.
I was lucky enough to be selected in the trial team for this product to be used alongside a moisturiser. On receiving the product, the first thing I noticed was the large bottle size. Some of these luxury beauty products tend to be a bit stingy with tiny little products that only last a few weeks so that made me happy to see. The bright red bottle immediately gave me the impression that it would be packed full of pomegranate goodness. The second thing I noticed was that there were no instructions for how to use it. It was very liquidy so I poured it onto a cotton pad and noticed it had a similar consistency to a toner. This is how I used it, applying to just-cleansed skin twice a day with a cotton pad. The smell is fresh and pleasant and it glides onto the skin easily. Initially I used a bit too much but now I know that a little bit goes a long way. On application, my skin tingled slightly then cooled as the product absorbed. It left my skin feeling refreshed and lightly moisturised and well toned, a great base for a moisturiser. Overall I thought this product was perfect as a toner but I can't say it left my skin looking "radiant" as promised and with the hefty price tag, I wouldn't personally buy it for myself because it didn't give me better results than my $30 Body Shop toner. I am however interested to see if using this product alongside the moisturiser long term will improve my skin. Time will tell.
