Estee Lauder Nutritious Radiant Energy Gel Emulsion

I have really enjoyed using this product over the last week and a half!

First things first, scent is something that has become very important to me lately regarding skin care products, and I absolutely adore the scent of this! It has a strong fruity scent, without being overpowering and I loved applying it.

I have skin more on the drier side and sometimes struggle to find moisturisers that make my skin feel hydrated without feeling heavy, but this is one of them. I feel like as soon as I apply it, my skin feels instantly ten times better, feeling more hydrated and fresh. It's easy to rub in and soaks in quickly. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin and feels smooth without feeling oily or greasy. My makeup applies nicely onto it, it hasn't made me break out and I have no complaints at all about this product.

I have been using this product as well as the lotion from the duo, and while I liked them both, definitely think this works well as a stand-alone product.

A $112 moisturiser. Just let that soak in for a few minutes. One hundred and twelve dollars.

When I first received it I'd never felt so overwhelmed and underwhelmed at once. LAUDER. I am going to be using Estee Lauder. The skincare of ladies. Proper ladies. Who shop at counters and don't ask 'how much is this?'. But then. Plastic. PLASTIC. $112 and the went for a plastic tub! Where's my hermetically sealed pump?! Now it is a thick, heavy pot but still...I was expecting more. There's also no indication if it's recyclable.

The instructions are simply 'apply am/pm'. Cheers for that EL! And very interesting - it'll last for 24 months from opening. As this is a wide open pot, I assume there's a fair few preservatives in it to counteract the exposure to air. But that doesn't bother me too much. Something to note if it does concern you.

It smells gorgeous. Fruity fresh. Delicious. The smell doesn't linger, so if fragrance bothers you, but doesn't irritate you, I think you'd still enjoy this.

The cream is white and quite thick. It's not heavy though. It absorbs instantly, my skin just drank this up! You don't need much, but I don't think I'll need to worry about using this up in the next 2 years! Potentially there's 2 months worth here.

I'm so torn on this product. It's fantastic. It's hydrating, its moisturising, its a sheer delight to use. Morning or night it injects moisture. After a couple of weeks use my skin is smoother and more even. I just can't get over the price tag!

So did it do what it said? YES! My skin is radiant. So radiant. Would I recommend it to a (rich) friend? YES! 100%. I can't not recommend the product because it totally does what it says. Would I use it again? YES! If I won the lottery.

I use this product as a night mask - very light on the skin but very moisturising; my face feels smoother and soft the following morning. I have not experienced skin breakouts upon using the product. I noticed my face looked youthful and glowing upon using this product for a few days. I wish the packaging came with a mini scoop for hygienic purposes but overall this product is amazing and I highly recommend it.

I was very lucky to be picked by BR to review this product. Boy was i one happy girl when this arrived.. This is the first high end skin care i have ever tried and it didn't disappoint. The packaging is very simple, red tub with silver writing and lid. On the back of the bottle it tells you to " Apply AM and PM". I always washed my makeup off then applied the lotion first then this creme. This defiantly kept my skin hydrated, its quite a thick consistency. This left my face looking like it had a glow if i didn't wear foundation. My skin in winter can get really flaky and dry, i found this creme and the lotion really helped and my foundation went on smoother because of it! If you have dry skin i highly recommend buying this.

I was very happy with the way the Estée Lauder nutritious radiant energy gel emulsion worked for me. Packaged in a simple and classy, red glass-like container with a silver screw cap, this moisturising gel does exactly what it says it will. The formula is a lovely lightweight, non-greasy texture with a really pleasant floral/fruity scent which I loved. The gel applied really nicely to just-cleansed skin, giving a boost of hydration to make the skin feel thoroughly moisturised. My favourite thing about the gel is that it didn’t leave any greasy residue on my skin as it all soaked in and plumped up the skin. I missed applying this one night and in the morning I noticed a difference in my skin, which proved to me how well it works for me. A little product seems to go a long way so I feel that the amount of product in the jar will last a good month or two. This product definitely isn’t the cheapest on the market, but it is a higher end brand and I feel it is well worth the investment and I would definitely repurchase in the future.
