I have been using Evolu Regenerative Overnight Cream for about three weeks now. My skin feels so soft and hydrated now that I will definitely keep using Evolu Regenerative Overnight Cream. When I first used it, I felt my skin tightened and the cream absorbed straight away into my skin that I don’t feel any grease at all. In the morning I can feel that my skin softer. It’s an amazing product and will definitely recommend this to anyone.

Evolu Active Age Defence Regenerative Overnight Cream Review
Sleep is a time for skin regeneration and repair. Overnight while your skin rests, this rejuvenating cream acts to replenish the skin's internal defences, neutralising free radicals and boosting the synthesis of collagen and elastin to restore firmness and tone. Pure plant and marine extracts supercharge this overnight cream with vitamins and minerals, including potent phytosterols derived from the subtropical oakleaf fern. These essential nutrients help activate the cell-renewal processes and natural tightening effects that keep skin looking smooth and radiant.

Tips: Apply small amount to the cheeks, forehead, tip of your nose and chin. Massage gently in circular motion, and you can feel the immediate result.
This is the main thing I had my eye on in the beauty vault so I was super stoked I managed to get one. It comes in a 75ml squeezy tube with a screw top metallic lid. It is priced over $60 which is a bit on the expensive side for me but I think it is totally worth it.
The cream itself is a great consistency it is neither thick or runny, it is perfect to me. I only use a tiny amount as a little definitely goes a long way. I dot it on my forehead, cheeks and chin then gently massage in. The scent is very subtle which is nice at bedtime.
Once applied it sinks into my skin so quick, no greasy feeling at all. I have sensitive, dry skin and get no burning or stinging at all. It feels luxurious to use.
My skin is left so soft and smooth. It looks plump and youthful. It does not cause any breakouts at all. I really love it!
I would love to try other products from evolu as I think they would all be fabulous especially used together. A huge thumbs up from me.
I was lucky enough to get this in a Beauty Vault haul (thanks BR fairies!) and I was stoked because I wouldn't normally spend this amount of money on a moisturiser. I was wary at first - I have a history of breaking out with night creams because they're so super-intense, but I wanted to try this because its made in NZ and has no nasties in it. In fact - it has no parabens, petrochemicals, mineral oils, sulfates, artificial colours or fragrances, and no animal products apart from beeswax (and they're insects really, lets get real). In fact, there's so little of anything in this product, you wonder how they can even fill up the tube. But they did. In fact, for the price, it's quite a decent size. And you only need the very tiniest amount because it spreads very easily and sinks in quickly. So bonus - good value for money. It smells quite nice and natural, a bit botanical without being flowery, and its very moisturising. It keeps my skin soft and supple without any oily residue - great for (ahem) more mature skins like mine. Best of all - no breakouts! I really like this cream - if you don't mind spending a little extra, this is definitely a good one to try.
Tips: A little goes a very long way - too much and it gets a bit sticky.
I'm all for Natural NZ made products so I was very excited to try this. I have not had a great time in the past with night creams or heavy moisturizers as I have acne prone skin and tend to break out or get extremely oily. However this is great! I've been using this for about 6 weeks. It goes on Matt and stays that way so you don't get any residue on your pillow which is excellent. No breakouts for me! A little product goes a long way and the bottle is HUGE. I personally use this about 3-4 nights a week as the weather is hot. I think I would use it a lot more in winter when my skin is dryer.
I received this product in the BBBE:Best Of 2017 Cruelty Free Edition and have been using it since the new year. I was excited to use this as it is made in NZ and cruelty free. But most importantly, I have never used a night cream at this price point before.
I love the upside down packaging as its easy to dispense the product and will be easy to get every last bit when i'm near the bottom. The smell is lovely, not overpowering. I find it quite relaxing.
When applied to skin, it absorbs quickly and is non greasy. My skin feels and looks softer. I feel so pampered when using this product.
I would love for this to be a staple item in my beauty routine, but at that price point I just can't afford it unless this item was on sale. I do feel the price is worth the quality of this product. If you have the money this is definitely worth trying.
I love this night cream! I received it in the BBBE Cruelty Free edition (seriously that particular beauty box is just full of goodness!) and going on 2 months of use with probably 40ml left (of the 75ml – yes I’m a tad too generous with the product).
Now admittedly I wasn’t a huge fan of the semi-sweet natural (almost cheap) scent but I figure because it doesn’t have the usual nice smelling chemicals that I would just have to make do and now it smells pleasant. I wish it came with a flip-top as I hate having to screw on lids but once you see how it performs all these minor things are just pedantic.
It has a fluid consistency that you need to work into the skin but its lightweight. I love to apply a lot where my face feels sticky but give it a minute or two and it’ll dry down nicely and I feel like I’m left with a nice lightweight mask.
I generally roll my eyes when companies name their products with words like “regenerative” but I kid you not this cream is working hard at night. It has given me a smoother complexion (it’s not flawless but it’s noticeably different) and my skin tone has gone up a notch.
As much as I love to give all the credit to this product, I do use a combination of skincare products but I have really started to see the difference with the addition of this night cream.
I had no clue this product was pricey (I probably would have not applied so much!) but it's worth every penny. I recall using a sample sachet 2 years ago and that’s really not enough to make a call on whether this is good or not. If you’re able to get hold of a couple of sachets I’m pretty sure you may find a gem.
This product comes in the same brown and white tube with Evolu branding as the day creme. It has a silver screw top.
I am using it with an Evolu cleanser, toner, and day cream. I apply it several times throughout the evening before going to bed.
The product is a white cream with a neutral kind of scent. Like the day crème, it settles on the top of my skin, and rubbing can make it look worse. It doesn’t absorb anywhere as well as I expect from a night cream. Once it has absorbed, it leaves a soft waxy sheen on the surface of my skin, that feels nice.
It contains some gorgeous natural ingredients such as oakleaf fern extract, nori marine algae, ulva marine algae, hazelnut protein and shea butter. As with the other Evolu products, it is made in New Zealand without lots of nasty chemicals, which is a big plus.
It is $62.99 which is pretty pricey for a night cream, compared to some great night creams I’ve used before. The jury is still out - I'm not sure if I'd repurchase or not. Maybe if it was discounted!
.
Initial look of Evolu packaging is basic with a fern green and white box with brown writing and a cream plastic tube container with a large silver screw top.I like the idea that you store the tube on it's lid as I feel the product is easier to squeeze out and tidier to store. The cream is a light texture with a light unusual scent . I'm not sure I like the scent but light enough to ignore. The cream sits as a very light coating on my face for a few minutes and then all of a sudden is absorbed with no greasy residue. I have used this for approximately a month now and am really pleased with the results. My skin feels a lot softer and less dry in the mornings and has a fresh glow which I didn't have before. I like that it is a NZ product and has no nasty chemicals in although the price at $63 is a little high I will definately consider re purchasing.
Tips: If I am home for the day I often pop a little of this on my face on my non makeup days.
I was lucky to score the Evolu Regenerative Overnight Cream in the rewards vault quite some time ago. This brand is everything I am drawn to (although I do use plenty of brands without these qualities) NZ made, no nasty chemicals but with lots of goodness that will help the skin and not tested on animals.
I really liked the packaging, it is simple but lovely with the silver lid. I find products that have a screw lid on the bottom great to use as it is not such a struggle to get the last dregs out! It has a wonderful smell which is similar to a lot of more natural products.
This night cream has a medium heaviness consistency which I find ideal in a night cream. I have normal to combination skin type and while I love something super light during the day I like to have a heavier cream at night but not so heavy that I am shining! It absorbs in quickly and only a small quantity is needed.
My skin feels much smoother and softer after using this cream. Because such a small quantity is needed is lasting for a very long time which I feel makes excellent value for money. I would recommend anyone try this cream and I will be purchasing this and other Evolu products to try in the future.
Tips: Only a tiny amount is needed.
I have only been using this for 2 weeks now and the improvement in my skin quality is amazing.
For starters, my skin is a combination with a recent spate of extra dryness on the edges of my face, I am getting closer to 40 and fine lines are expanding. When I wear makeup I have noticed that the dry patches have been catching on my foundation no matter what moisturising elements I add pre and after application.
When I received this cream and read it claims I was a little hopeful that it would help firm things up and help even out the mess of skin texture. It has done and I am blown away how quickly it has done it.
You need to go gently with this powerful cream which is good in a way as it means it will last longer but I seriously only put 1 squeeze drop of it on my palm and rub between to make warm and pat into my face and neck, no rubbing or pulling just pressing as I want a firming and dragging won't help that happen.
It quickly absorbs with no scent that I can detect, and after 6 nights of use, yes I only use at night as this is far too thick and heavy for day wear it can easily make your skin go greasy and oily if you use too much. The skin area which was causing me problems was gone, the dryness had disappeared and that was visible when I wore makeup as it applied easily and settles perfectly on my face with no patchy areas.
I am so impressed with this cream after using so many so-called night creams with magic powers you get sceptical but this is great and look to keep it as my nightly routine for the foreseeable future to keep my skin happy and as youthful as I can.
