I received this in a BB and was pleased that it was made in NZ with no nasty stuff in it and not tested on animals. Good sized tube and the cream itself was not too heavy and sunk into my skin easily. Quite a strong scent but leaves my skin hydrated and supple in the morning. A bit pricy but does the job well.

Evolu Active Age Defence Regenerative Overnight Cream Review
Sleep is a time for skin regeneration and repair. Overnight while your skin rests, this rejuvenating cream acts to replenish the skin's internal defences, neutralising free radicals and boosting the synthesis of collagen and elastin to restore firmness and tone. Pure plant and marine extracts supercharge this overnight cream with vitamins and minerals, including potent phytosterols derived from the subtropical oakleaf fern. These essential nutrients help activate the cell-renewal processes and natural tightening effects that keep skin looking smooth and radiant.

A good size tube (75.mill). with a screw top lid makes it easy to squeeze this white mid textured cream out, this it not waxy just a nice consistency. The fragrance is a little bitter like when you walk into a health shop that first initial wiff is the scent. Not the most pleasant but gone as soon as you think ick. I used this every night for about three weeks but I do have dry skin so I was having to use it then use it again just to top my skin up. I was hopeful that my skin would get used to it as I feel it’s not over priced for a natural product and I like the tube, no sticky fingers going in it. My skin did look brighter but I felt the whole time I needed more moisture so I was a little let down. But brighter and tighter skin yes.
I got this in a BBE and I really like Evolu skincare products because they feel so lovely and light on the skin. This was no exception in fact the first night I used this I decided to layer less products underneath and within the time I applied and few hours before I went to bed my skin felt a bit dry and I applied another layer. I found this to be great for the summer when I didn't want a heavy nightcream on my face but just enough moisture for autumn. I think I'll switch to something heavier for winter though since I'm not sure how this will hold up with the heaters. I have noticed somehow I've used up almost half the tube despite only using this for the past month or maybe six weeks which is pretty fast for me as usually takes me many months to use up a night cream probably because this is so light. It also doesn't sting my eyes if I rub this around my eye area which is a plus. Despite how lovely it feels I can't say I've seen a lot of regeneration with my skin due to using this. So once I use this up it'll be hard to justify the 63 dollar pricetag at the time of this review. Maybe if there's a really good deal with Evolu products but then something tells me that I probably could find something natural and about the same texture as this for less.
Tips: Lovely nightcream for summer as it's so light. If you need more hydration layer some hydrating waterbased serums underneath it and perhaps an oil rather than applying heaps more as this isn't cheap.
This product comes in the same brown and white tube with Evolu branding as the day creme. It has a silver screw top.
I am using it with an Evolu cleanser, toner, and day cream. I apply it several times throughout the evening before going to bed.
The product is a white cream with a neutral kind of scent. Like the day crème, it settles on the top of my skin, and rubbing can make it look worse. It doesn’t absorb anywhere as well as I expect from a night cream. Once it has absorbed, it leaves a soft waxy sheen on the surface of my skin, that feels nice.
It contains some gorgeous natural ingredients such as oakleaf fern extract, nori marine algae, ulva marine algae, hazelnut protein and shea butter. As with the other Evolu products, it is made in New Zealand without lots of nasty chemicals, which is a big plus.
It is $62.99 which is pretty pricey for a night cream, compared to some great night creams I’ve used before. The jury is still out - I'm not sure if I'd repurchase or not. Maybe if it was discounted!
.
I received this in the vault. It comes in a nice big squeezy tube which has lasted me for months. I has a shiny silver lid and I am pleased to say none of this peeled off in use which it does on some products.
This is quite a light cream for a night cream and feels more like a lotion. It has quite a strong botanical scent that emphasises the natural ingredients but I did not find this unpleasant. It does feel a bit sticky after it is applied but it is fully absorbed by morning. It does leave my skin feeling soft and supple however, I haven't noticed any huge changes to my skin since using it than I can attribute to this. Whilst I have enjoyed using it, I probably won't purchase it as I don't think it out-performs other cheaper night creams.
I managed to get this Beauty from one of the Beauty Vaults . I love night creams . Good for someone who’s into regular skin care regime. I did a patch test beforehand and had no skin reactions.
Packaging comes in a tube with simple white packaging with the Evolution labelling . Consistency is creamy with a mildly musk scent . I’ve been using this for a few months religiously every night. My skin appears brighter and hydrated. No change on my fine lines or discoloured skin.
Overall I’m happy with the hydration of my skin. I didn’t notice any visable changes my skin tone. Price wise it’s fair for a natural based skincare. I can’t see myself repurchasing this . It’s outside of my price range .
I can't believe that this product is meant to be a nightcream! I tend to go in with a heavier moisturiser at night to prevent trans-epidermal water loss and keep my skin happy and hydrated.
I won this in a prize pack and decided to try it out, and was sorely disappointed. The texture is incredibly drying, and instead of just absorbing into the skin it feels like a tacky film after applying. Alcohol is quite high up on the ingredients list so I was wondering if this was the reason.
I tried this out for two weeks to give it a proper go, and all I found was it made me break out and made my skin feel right and dry when I woke up. I wouldn't recommend this moisturiser, especially for the price point I think something simple works much better.
I picked this up in a vault, and I'm enjoying it - but would I pay for it? Probably not. It's no miracle cream and I've used comparable cheaper ones from other brands.
So saying, it's lovely. Evolu are well known as a kiwi brand who are in a more expensive price bracket due to the use of natural products and non-inclusion of what they term 'nasty chemicals'.
This cream features oakleaf fern, nori and ulva marine algaes, hazelnut protein and shea butter. It has a strong botanical scent which I found offputting at first but got used to.
It's a lovely thick cream which leaves skin hydrated and supple, with minimal residue. I haven't broken out or reacted, and I enjoy using it - just can't justify that price tag for it, really! Luckily the (very simple) packaging is an inverted tube, so you can control how much you're dispensing and make it last.
Tips: If you can, get a sample to try first - it's lovely but I'm not convinced that it's worth the extra cash.
