Evolu Balancing Day Cream Review

I love this moisturizer I can't go a day without wearing it. It make's my skin clear and take away the red/patchiness in my face I also get very dry and oil skin since using this it hasn't been much of a problem I'll never go back to using a cheap moisturizer again after using this.

I had high hopes when I bought this as my first product from Evolu to try, and they were all met. Sometimes my skin gets dry patches from moisturiser (don't ask me how), and I had none of that at all with this. But that's jumping the gun a wee bit Firstly, I love the bottle/tube (?) its lovely and serene looking with its pale green and white. I like that it's an upside down bottle, they're always so much easier to get all of the product out of. The scent of this is lovely, I couldn't really work out if it 'had' a scent, or if I was just imagining things as I was using it, but it's lovely to use. It feels just thick enough without being really heavy, and glides on beautifully. It absorbs really quickly, and just seems to hydrate my dry spots and doesn't leave my oilier patches shiny.

I have run out of this, but as soon as funds allow I'll be repurchasing <3

I love this brands focus on natural ingredients and no animal testing. Over time my skin has become even more reactive and sensitive. So I steer towards products with no nasties and more natural ingredients.

The packaging is simple and modern. Teamed with blue and white it’s just a lovely packaging that looks high end.

My skin can be dry, with uneven patches. Therefore I need a moisturizer that is both hydrating and gentle. This moisturizer delivers both!

It’s really high quality and it’s just very hydrating for my dry and sensitive skin.

I tried this product as it is cruelty free, made in NZ and has SPF.

I quick like it! It smells nice and has been good on my sensitive skin.

I'd probably like it to be ever so slightly more hydrating but that may be because I have very dry skin.

I am going to try another product next time just because it is $55 which is quite a lot for a moisturiser. That being said, one tube has lasted me for nearly six months using every day!

A 10ml sample of this lightweight Balancing Day Cream was included in the Evolu Travel Tower that I got in "The Complete Natural Skin Care" box from Best Beauty Box Ever.

It nourishes and hydrates to help balance the skin's natural moisture levels, while being non-greasy with no oily after feel, and is perfect to use under make-up. It is designed for combination skin types, although it worked well on my very oily skin, too.

It has a very delicate fruity scent thanks to the addition of Kiwifruit, Blackcurrant and Meadowfoam, and it's absorbed into the skin fairly quickly, so it didn't affect my make-up application or cause it to slip in any way during the day.

This day cream came in the Evolu tower.

It is a white cream, soft and creamy and I had very high hopes for it. Unfortunately it didn't absorb into my face as well as I would have liked. Surprisingly it did absorb into my neck, which is drier than my face. I don't like it when moisturiser settles on the surface of my skin rather than absorbing, so this is not the moisturiser for me sadly. And it left my skin feeling dry and crepe-y.

It may be more suited to someone with less mature skin.
