Evolu Rehydration Rescue Masque Review

Super excited to review this brand as I've heard nothing but amazing feedback on them. First impressions are good i love the packaging its a nice purply grey colour and a good size tube. Proudly made in NZ :) It has a nice scent nice clean and fresh. The texture is really nice its a thicker cream and when you put it on it is matte on your skin. Ive been using it every 2nd night and really like how my skin has fallen in love with it. I have a few dry patches and these are looking a lot less dry now. Ive tried a mixture of leaving it on over night and also leaving it for 1/2 hr then using a hot cloth to remove it and both are really lovely. This Mask is definitely going to be a keeper for me and a huge recommendation.

I was luckily enough to trial this masque. I have tried a couple of Evolu products in the past with mixed results so I was interested to give this a go.

This masque is in a lilac coloured tube with a white flip lid which it sits on. It comes boxed in a lilac coloured box with instructions on the side on how to use this.

I found the instructions kind of lacking. They told you to cleanse and tone your face, then apply the masque to your face, neck and decolletage. Then you were given the option of either washing it off or leaving it on until the morning. There was nothing about the other products you may be using as well such as an eye cream or night cream or a serum, as in when and if to apply them. This I felt was a bit lacking on the part of Evolu.

I like the tube as you dont have to dip your fingers into a pot and possibly spread germs and get it under your nails.

The masque itself is white in colour and a cream like texture. It has a pleasent scent, not too strong so I think it will suit people who dont like strong fragrances.

I applied it to my cleansed and toned face, neck and decolletage and opted for the overnight option. It did feel lovely and was very easy to apply. It absorbed well and felt nice on my skin,I didnt feel like I had a thick layer of masque on my face. As it absorbed so well I was not concerned about leaving any residue on my pillowcase, and it didnt.

In the morning I washed the masque off in the shower and once I got out and dried my face off I was very happy with what I saw. My skin actually looked great! I had a good long look in the mirror with the light on and wearing my glasses and yes!, good looking skin. It felt soft as well. I continued to use the masque and the results were great. I didnt realise much moisture my skin was lacking.

I will continue to use this masque until it has finished, however, even with great results $54.99 is a big price for 60mls and I am still unsure if I will purchase this.

Liked the packaging, the box, container and colours. The soft purple tones looked classic and elite. Right now down to the serious business ...what's inside. An unctuous (love that word) creamy mask that was easy to apply. I applied it at night before bed after cleansing. The mask penetrated without leaving a sticky surface to stick to my pillow. The next morning I could feel a difference after the first use when cleansing my skin. It felt soft and smooth. Usually around my nose and chin it can feel course and dull. So far since using the mask (3 times in all) my skin has been glowing.

Absolutely stoked to be able to review this. This is my first time trying an evolu product and it deffintely didn't disappoint.

The packaging was perfect! The colour is a purplely-grey. The product designs and the aroma gave the product a luxurious feel.

This is super easy! I applied a thin layer after cleansing and toning and left on overnight as per the instructions. It definitely worked it's magic overnight. After washing, my skin was left feeling soft and clean.

Upon first opening I thought the size was a little on the small side (60ml tube) but after first use, you really only need a little bit so this will go a long way.

I like the fact that it is I'm a squeezable tube that way you will only be getting what you need.

Would I purchase in future? Yes! The only thing that is putting me off is the price. The approx $55 makes it slightly out of my price range. HOWEVER in the box there is a $20 e-coupon which you can redeem if you subscribe to the evolu newsletter!

Package arrived and look pretty impressive in a shiny lilac box with an easy to open cap. Unfortunately the white writing on the box was pretty difficult to read - especially for us older people and i needed a pair of glasses....LOL Pretty easy application without stickiness, and I went to bed without having a second thought. Easily removed in the next morning shower and left my skin soft and glowing - moisturiser went on easily after toning and make up was a breeze.

There was not to much of a fragrance which i liked - the texture was pretty nice and easy to apply - i will keep on using this product as it definitely added moisture back into my dry winter skin.

Packaging - The grey/silver box looks very sleek and impressive. But the small white font is very difficult to read. Even with glasses I struggled a bit.

Tube - Initial thoughts were the quantity of cream that comes out when the tube is squeezed is very small. But when applied, I realised the small quantity goes a long way. Masque - It delivers. It does what it says on the product. Just after 3/4 days my skin felt healthy & hydrated. After using for a week, my daughter commented, your skin is looking very good. She doesn't know I am trying a new product. and she is my biggest critique. Which proves the masque is actually good.

Fragrance - No fragrance. Personally I prefer fragrance but the absence of one did not put me off.

Price - I would love to buy again but is a bit pricey for me.

I was so excited to get on this trial as Evolu is a brand that I definitely want to try more of! Especially as my skin can be particularly dry so I knew this would be a product that would work for my specific skin type. I have also been travelling on planes a bit lately and that is something that dries my skin out even more.

The packaging is absolutely lovely on this. I really think that Evolu as a brand nails the classy packaging. Light purple squeezy tube with heaps of information on the outside - love when brands put the info on the actual packaging so I don't have to keep the box it comes in. Also love that all of the packaging is recyclable.

Also of note is that this product isn't tested on animals and is made in NZ.

The product itself is a milky cream colour, great if you wanted to use it on a long haul flight without getting weird looks (my husband just said he thought my skin was a bit paler than normal). It is nicely scented in a herbal flowery sort of way but it isn't too strong. The packaging says that you can use this overnight, but I don't really like doing that. I must say though it does dry down to a matte texture quite quickly so you don't need to worry about residue on your pillow. The mask drying down does make me wonder whether there is actually any benefit to leaving it on overnight. Personally I just left this on for a couple hours in the evening then wiped off with a warm face cloth before bed. The product itself sunk into my skin really well, and made it incredibly smooth and felt well moisturised. It also didn't increase my redness or any of my other usual sensitive skin issues.

I am really interested in this brand and tempted to try more! Luckily for me another reviewer mentioned that inside the box is a $20 coupon if you sign up to their newsletter... good deal!

The Evolu Rehydration rescue masque is definitely different to any type of masque I’ve used before.

The packaging is handy and easy to use – it’s the perfect size to take away on holiday or to pop in your bag. It smells absolutely lovely, it has a subtle fruity smell that reminds me of having a facial at the beauticians.

I love the feel of it on my skin, it feels like a moisturizing cream and is so light that you can’t even feel that it’s on your skin once it has absorbed (which is very quick). I also love the option of leaving it on overnight and washing it off in the morning – I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. It’s also reassuring to know that it contains plenty of vitamins, proteins and omega-6 fatty acids as at my age, my skin needs as much help as it can get.

The directions say ‘Either leave on overnight and cleanse in the morning, or remove with a warm wet towel after relaxation time.’ I’ve tried the ‘relaxation time during the day’ option but my children seem to have other ideas ;-). I did leave it on during the day on the weekend but minus the relaxation time. No one would know you had it on which is also very handy.

It has made my skin feel so soft and dare I say, youthful. While I have the masque on, I can’t stop touching my skin as it feels amazing. It feels much more hydrated than it usually does, and actually the best it has felt in a long while. I look forward to further continual use to see the results over a longer period.

This is the first Evolu product I’ve tried but I think I may need to investigate further and purchase some additional Evolu products if the rescuing masque is anything to go by. Love this product!

This Rehydration Masque came at a really good time. I have dry skin, made even worse over winter, so I tend to resort to balms and oils. The packaging is a lavender purple colour, which at first gave me the impression that this product was going to smell like lavender...I kind of braced myself as Im not a fan of that scent..the relief! It smells super lovely..like lemony/lime/citrussy scents but ever so subtle. It's refreshing and enjoyable.

The product is very easy to use, its in a well packaged tube..easy to squeeze product out and easy to apply. The box states that you can either apply and remove with a wet towel after relaxation time or leave on overnight. I always went with overnight to give my skin some good rehydration. This feels cooling when you first apply..feels soothing & makes my skin feel super soft. My skin feels hydrated right away and by the morning my skin remains soft. It doesnt say how often to use it so I've been using this basically every night or every other night. My redness has improved really well and so has flaky areas on my face.

I am really impressed with this masque! I wish it was more affordable though!!

Prior to reviewing this I had never tried a leave on overnight masque. To be honest I didn't know they existed, so I was quite excited to give it a whirl. I love the fact that you are effectively feeding your skin while you sleep. The texture of the masque is dense but not creamy, it is gently fragranced with bergamot and sweet orange essential oils. Upon application it literally soaks into your face. I wasn't expecting anything miraculous when I rinsed it off the following morning, but was pleasantly surprised to feel how soft my skin was. My once dehydrated skin really did feel restored & that was due to only one application! The listed ingredients of vinanza, vitamins, proteins and Omega-6 fatty acids work a treat. For this review I used the masque a total of 10 times overnight. My skin feels great - I'm really pleased with the results.
