Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser Review

This came in a box with a leaflet with plenty of info. Along with the good-for-your-skin plant based things listed in the description there is also Olive oil in this product this botanical for the skin has hydrating conditioning properties, anti-oxidants to help guard free radical damage & prevent cellular degeneration. Olive oil may help fade scars and marks as it is healing. Vitamin A could be in this product (as it is in OliveOlea Europaeaoil) which could help with acne, scarring and because it produces collagen it will help prevent wrinkles. Vitamin A is essential for new growth of skin cell turnover and closing a wound it is great for preventing skin cancer.Olive(Olea Europaea)oil Also has vitamin E which is another anti oxidant, fights against free radicals and helps support new skin growth by accelerating the regeneration of cells. It can also heal existing damage as well as prevent it, lighten dark spots/stretch marks and is soothing for sunburn coldsores etc while helping heal the painful area. This product is not tested on animals this product has a 6month expiry date after it has been opened so keep this in mind if your a collector and like to alternate between products like me. Now about my experience with use of the product: The product has a nice herbal scent which seemed strong but it deteriorated as I put the product to use on my face. The cleanser is white and creamy it has no grainy or exfoliating texture it is smooth but not very thick. No bubbles happened when I tested the non-foaming claim. It did not strip my skin of oil. I found that after a week the cleanser did not make my skin feel clean enough. When I had applied make up and used the cleanser after it did not feel as though all make up had been removed. In saying this, I do use exfoliating cleansers and acne fighting ones at times so I am used to harsher cleaning skin products. After not using my exfoliating cleanser for a week and just using this cleanser my skin felt oily in places and I did break out but the break out could of been hormones/ from make up. I did have a baby 9months ago & have polycsystic ovary so I am not blaming this product as my skin changes frequently. I do like this product and will use when my skin is feeling dry sensitive and between exfoliating. For me this is something I would use if I had not applied make up previously and just wanted a gentle hydrating cleanse especially if my skin felt dry or sensitive and prone to reddness. This would be good on the go skin care as you may not feel you need a moisturizer afterwards. The website evolu.con is well worth checking out. Ive tryed so many facial cleansers trying to find one that suits me, as my skin is very dry and senitive and i get exma, this product didnt interfair with any of my dryness or exma! I love it! When u start washing ur face it glides on smoothy. But it does have a little burn tinglyness to it. Iver never broken out on this and i will deffintly buy this again!

I entered a competition Evolution had on instagram. I was lucky enough to win a full sized tube of this. I've read reviews about Evolution skincare and have been interested in trying out their products for some time now.

What I read on the tube was that it had St. john's wort and apricot. Both these ingredients had me intrigued. This tube sits on itself. Very easy to get product out of . The formula itself is creamy similar to a facial moisturiser. The scent of this reminds me of freshly cut herbs and wild flowers. It's equally comparable to the True cleanser.

Every morning and night I apply this to my face. I have no skin irritations. Normally my dry patches get irritated when I use a new product but not with this one.

Immediately after use my skin appears clean and refreshed. I'm surprised that it doesn't make my skin feeling tight or dry. I found this worked perfectly into my skincare routine.

Price wise it is a lot for a product that washes off your face. I love products that have a natural wholesome feel . I would love to explore more of Evolu's products. I really enjoyed this one.

All natural and oh so gentle. Removes make up and leaves my face incredibly balanced. Lightly scented.

I found his cleanser to be just like most other cleansers i have used unfortunately. It washes my face well and removes any make up i have on but i have to lightly scrub at it for a bit to get it all off. I have used this for a week now and haven't really seen any difference to my skin when it comes to cleaning out my pores or helping with any impurities i have. I did like the formula and very subtle fragrance is has and the packaging is lovely. The tube it comes in is very easy to use and there wouldn't be very much wastage. I am very underwhelmed when it comes to this product which is a shame.

I will be using it for another week and then my mother would like to try it so hopefully it works for more mature skin. (which i will get her to record and update this review from her point of view)

I have been using Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser for a few days now. I noticed the differences between Evolu and other products. Normally my face will feel very tight and dry after using cleansing soap, but with Evolu Relaxing Creme Clenser, I feel my skin soft and moist afterwards. I love the relaxing smell, and will definitely use Evolu again in the future.

Evolu are a great brand, everything I've used of theirs I've loved. Their products are 'nasty chemical' free and have lots of natural ingredients that are good for your skin.

This cleanser is a mouisturiser-like consistency. It has quite a floral scent, but it is not over powering. The best thing about it is that it is great for sensitive skin/eyes; I use it all over my face, close too my eyes, and it doesn't irritate at all. Even with my Nivea cleanser I can experience some slight irritation.

I tend to 'double' use this in the evenings; I apply it all over my face to remove my makeup, wash it off, then apply again to cleanse my skin. It doesn't state that it's a makeup remover but is a gentle and effective way of taking your makeup off.

I was quite surprised how much I liked this creme cleanser, I had tried a different brand before and it made me breakout so I was a little bit nervous with trying this. The packaging is nice, it has a real natural look to it. I love the fact that it's NZ made and has no nasty chemicals in it. It says that it protects, repairs and renews and is ideal for sensitive and mature skin which is perfect for my skin. The smell of this creme cleanser is so good, i really like washing my face with it because of the smell. it has quite a strong scent but it's really nice to use at night and in the morning, makes me want to just wash my face all the time! The cleanser isn't thick, it's quite light and smooths onto my face and neck really well. It did an awesome job at getting my makeup off and even my eye makeup without irritating my eyes which was great. I have already used this cleanser every day since I received it and I found that it gave my skin a bit of moisture, it doesn't dry it out, and I haven't broken out with spots at all. I think the only reason I wouldn't buy it is because of the price, it's quite alot for a cleanser but knowing how well it works I would buy it every now and then.

Using the product for the 1st time

Opening the product it has the smell of natural extracts that are refreshing and not overpowering. I was surprised when using it that I only needed a 1.5 pea size to do my whole face and neck. This product is going to last a long time when it is 125ml in size. When on the face it was not foaming up like you would typically see with a cleanser product. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin it makes your face feel silky before even washing it off. After washing it off the product leaves your skin feeling softer and feels silky without even touching it (you will understand when trying it). The smell of extracts did not leave the scent on my skin.

Results

Well, of course, my results varied differently from my daughter (Miss 12) who I roped into trying the product as well. For my skin it has reduced skin discolouration and reduced my acne, my skin has softened up instead of feeling rough and dry around the cheeks and chin, my forehead usually became very oily by the end of the day but this seems to have reduced the amount of oil my skin has produced (which has also helped with blemishes). I am confident that continuing to use this product I will continue to see improvements to my skin as older skin has a lot more to repair, I am sure my results will increase over the next month. My daughter's result was amazing she is currently suffering from “hormonal changes acne” which is unforgiving and embarrassing! I have seen a 50% improvement in her skin, her acne I am sure will be completely clear within the next 2 weeks. She is also saying her skin feels soft and less yucky (I can only assume this is in relation to the oiliness). This product is definitely worth trying especially on the younger skin as no harsh chemicals are in it to damage the young skin.

Conclusion

Overall I believe this is a product worth investing in and I am sure you will see results quickly as well. My daughter is definitely beaming from ear to ear with her new skin :)
