Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser Review

I was very luck to be chosen to review this cleanser :) I am 45 and my skin needs extra help and kindness, I think this cleanser has definitely helped.

I really like the colours of the tube/packaging - it's quite understated but appears natural and earthy. The tube is a decent size at 125ml, which one would hope as the RRP is $39.99, a bit more than I would spend on a cleanser, however if it's a decent one then money well spent.

I normally use cleansing wipes but do find they don't really remove all the makeup and dirt. I admit that I am a bit lazy, hence the reason I use wipes :)

I like the smell, nothing really strong or overpowering and is very natural and botanical.

The tube has a flip top which I much prefer to a screw cap, easier to use. The cleanser is a lovely creamy consistency and is non-foaming, so I just wet my fingers slightly and applied in a gentle rubbing circular motion all over my face and neck. I removed with a fairly warm face cloth, which I think makes a difference for my skin anyway.

It didn't make my skin feel tight or dry once I had removed and before I applied moisturiser which is a big plus for me. My sister makes her own organic moisturiser and I use this after I have cleansed and I think with the combination of the cleanser and moisturiser it has made a difference to my skin :)

I love that it is anti-aging with the Calendula, something I really need now and the mixture of Apricot Extract, Geranium and St John's Wort I believe is a great mix for my skin.

I have been using it for around 4 nights and I think my skin will improve even more with constant use. I am actually very interested in trying more of their products now as I really like this cleanser.

I would definitely use this cleanser again and would look into more of their products.

I've really enjoyed using this product. It comes in a user friendly tube, which easily dispenses a generous amount of cleanser at one squeeze. It applies easily onto face and neck and smells heavenly! The fragrance reminds of spa treatments while on holiday. I found this product to be very gentle and therapeutic even - the skin around my nose has been bit grazed due to a nasty cold I've been nursing for the past week (and the countless boxes of tissues I've gone through!) and Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser has been very gentle and kind to sensitive my skin. Its gentle cleaning would leave my skin feeling light, refreshed and pampered. I would happily recommend Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser and will buy and use again.

Unfortunately this product was a let down for me due to a couple of reasons. The biggest issue I had was that this creme cleanser claims to be able to remove makeup including eye makeup. I did not find this to be effective in the eye area at all, and my eyes felt irritated and watery for some time after. You would be better off using an overall makeup remover first then washing your face with this cleanser, but there are already so many other options available that can do the job in 1 - such as balms. The other issue I had is I just didn't feel like it gave me a decent clean, I knew it was non foaming but I felt with the creaminess it would be better applied and removed with a cotton ball like some other creme cleansers rather than rinsed with water.

I will say the scent was lovely and soothing and sure it was gentle on the skin, but with the price tag attached to this and the over all results ho-hum, I think I will be giving this a miss in future.

I love skincare, in particular cleansers, as these are an important step especially in the evening to remove dirt, makeup and grime. I am generally a fan of foaming cleansers, but I really loved the feeling of this creme cleanser on my skin, it feels lovely and thick, nourishing, and does a nice job at removing my makeup. All with added benefits such as geranium, calendula, apricot & st johns wort - I quite like the smell of the botanical ingredients, but this could be quite overwhelming for others who are particularly sensitive. I would agree its probably better suited for 'mature' skins. I am 34 with oily t-zone and feel its a bit too rich for my skin.

I wouldn't say that it deep cleansed my skin, but it still provided a good cleanse and effectively removed my makeup.

Evolu arrived in a small cardboard printed box, as a tube, also inside The box was a small folded brochure, this detailed a bit more about the product and it's origin. I headed to the sink and gave this new product a try, wearing make up throughout the day it was up for a tough ride to get it off, but remarkably did well! The consistency and refreshing feel, made this product a hit on day 1, there was no "after" feel, as in, no caked on feeling, no residue, just a clean normal face without scrubbing! Over the next few days this product was used in the shower, I noticed an all over comfortable looking face, without the need for rubbing to get the days grime out. Not overly perfumed and that was fantastic for me. I am someone with sensitive skin, so often need a product that is light, and this certainly ticked the boxes! It doesn't have kernels that are crushed, so there is no abrasive feel to the product, first I was surprised about that, but as the product showed it's strengths that was quickly forgotten, and I realised time had "moved on" from those gritty things! Highly impressed with this product, clean, refreshed and comfortable And the best Not tested on animals :)

First off I just love the packsging. Simple and classy. The tube is a generous size and would last a decent amount of time. So value for money is great.

The scent is delicious, like beeswax and sugar. I really wish I could have tried the mosituriser too so I could smell the deliciousness long term hahaha.

It is very creamy and feels lovely on my skin, silky soft too. It cleanses very well leaving my skin feeling soft and almost moisturized too. It did not dry my face out at all and Im pretty sure so far my skin is loving this cleanser. I will have to invest in the moisturiser now too :)

Wow, I really love this cleanser! It's does everything it says it does...it's cleanses your skin without stripping your natural oils. Love the creme texture, it's like massaging cream on your face (non foaming or irritating), your skin feels polished and clean. I noticed after one week of use, my pores reduced in appearance, my skin felt more smoother and my breakouts vanished. I would highly recommend this cleanser to anyone with sensitive or mature skin.

My skin has some dry patches along with redness and being sensitive. This cleanser has been great. Easy to use, is not too thick, is creamy and kind of silky. Has a fairly pleasant scent without being too strong for me. I dampened my skin a little first and then massaged in as per instructions. Rinsed off with warm water and a face cloth to make sure I got it all. It removed all traces of makeup and left my skin feeling soft, clean and refreshed. I have noticed that the redness has minimized a little and my dry patches are not as bad. Being that my skin is sensitive I was a little worried it might make my skin worse but have had no problems. A little bit out of my price range, but if it was on special/promotion would seriously look at purchasing.

I really liked this cleanser and it may be the one that converts me from being a lazy lover of face wipes to doing a "proper" routine more regularly! The creme had a lovely natural fragrance and was 100% non-irritating. It cleansed my skin nicely, taking off all my makeup, even waterproof mascara, and didn't sting my eyes. It left my skin feeling fresh and super soft, and moisturised but not greasy. My skin loved it, I had no break outs or negative changes in my skin - all positive! This cleanser did everything it said it would, my favourite benefit was just how soft my skin felt after using it. I highly recommend this cleanser, it's well worth it.

This came in a box with a leaflet with plenty of info. Along with the good-for-your-skin plant based things listed in the description there is also Olive oil in this product this botanical for the skin has hydrating conditioning properties, anti-oxidants to help guard free radical damage & prevent cellular degeneration. Olive oil may help fade scars and marks as it is healing. Vitamin A could be in this product (as it is in OliveOlea Europaeaoil) which could help with acne, scarring and because it produces collagen it will help prevent wrinkles. Vitamin A is essential for new growth of skin cell turnover and closing a wound it is great for preventing skin cancer.Olive(Olea Europaea)oil Also has vitamin E which is another anti oxidant, fights against free radicals and helps support new skin growth by accelerating the regeneration of cells. It can also heal existing damage as well as prevent it, lighten dark spots/stretch marks and is soothing for sunburn coldsores etc while helping heal the painful area. This product is not tested on animals this product has a 6month expiry date after it has been opened so keep this in mind if your a collector and like to alternate between products like me. Now about my experience with use of the product: The product has a nice herbal scent which seemed strong but it deteriorated as I put the product to use on my face. The cleanser is white and creamy it has no grainy or exfoliating texture it is smooth but not very thick. No bubbles happened when I tested the non-foaming claim. It did not strip my skin of oil. I found that after a week the cleanser did not make my skin feel clean enough. When I had applied make up and used the cleanser after it did not feel as though all make up had been removed. In saying this, I do use exfoliating cleansers and acne fighting ones at times so I am used to harsher cleaning skin products. After not using my exfoliating cleanser for a week and just using this cleanser my skin felt oily in places and I did break out but the break out could of been hormones/ from make up. I did have a baby 9months ago & have polycsystic ovary so I am not blaming this product as my skin changes frequently. I do like this product and will use when my skin is feeling dry sensitive and between exfoliating. For me this is something I would use if I had not applied make up previously and just wanted a gentle hydrating cleanse especially if my skin felt dry or sensitive and prone to reddness. This would be good on the go skin care as you may not feel you need a moisturizer afterwards. The website evolu.con is well worth checking out.
