Evolu Relaxing Creme Cleanser Review

Evolu arrived in a small cardboard printed box, as a tube, also inside The box was a small folded brochure, this detailed a bit more about the product and it's origin. I headed to the sink and gave this new product a try, wearing make up throughout the day it was up for a tough ride to get it off, but remarkably did well! The consistency and refreshing feel, made this product a hit on day 1, there was no "after" feel, as in, no caked on feeling, no residue, just a clean normal face without scrubbing! Over the next few days this product was used in the shower, I noticed an all over comfortable looking face, without the need for rubbing to get the days grime out. Not overly perfumed and that was fantastic for me. I am someone with sensitive skin, so often need a product that is light, and this certainly ticked the boxes! It doesn't have kernels that are crushed, so there is no abrasive feel to the product, first I was surprised about that, but as the product showed it's strengths that was quickly forgotten, and I realised time had "moved on" from those gritty things! Highly impressed with this product, clean, refreshed and comfortable And the best Not tested on animals :)

This product was great at removing makeup while still being nice and creamy. However it did feel a little harsh on my skin sometimes especially if my skin was feeling very dry that day. The scent is a faint natural smell. The flip top lid was also very secure so there was never any leakage.

This came in a box with a leaflet with plenty of info. Along with the good-for-your-skin plant based things listed in the description there is also Olive oil in this product this botanical for the skin has hydrating conditioning properties, anti-oxidants to help guard free radical damage & prevent cellular degeneration. Olive oil may help fade scars and marks as it is healing. Vitamin A could be in this product (as it is in OliveOlea Europaeaoil) which could help with acne, scarring and because it produces collagen it will help prevent wrinkles. Vitamin A is essential for new growth of skin cell turnover and closing a wound it is great for preventing skin cancer.Olive(Olea Europaea)oil Also has vitamin E which is another anti oxidant, fights against free radicals and helps support new skin growth by accelerating the regeneration of cells. It can also heal existing damage as well as prevent it, lighten dark spots/stretch marks and is soothing for sunburn coldsores etc while helping heal the painful area. This product is not tested on animals this product has a 6month expiry date after it has been opened so keep this in mind if your a collector and like to alternate between products like me. Now about my experience with use of the product: The product has a nice herbal scent which seemed strong but it deteriorated as I put the product to use on my face. The cleanser is white and creamy it has no grainy or exfoliating texture it is smooth but not very thick. No bubbles happened when I tested the non-foaming claim. It did not strip my skin of oil. I found that after a week the cleanser did not make my skin feel clean enough. When I had applied make up and used the cleanser after it did not feel as though all make up had been removed. In saying this, I do use exfoliating cleansers and acne fighting ones at times so I am used to harsher cleaning skin products. After not using my exfoliating cleanser for a week and just using this cleanser my skin felt oily in places and I did break out but the break out could of been hormones/ from make up. I did have a baby 9months ago & have polycsystic ovary so I am not blaming this product as my skin changes frequently. I do like this product and will use when my skin is feeling dry sensitive and between exfoliating. For me this is something I would use if I had not applied make up previously and just wanted a gentle hydrating cleanse especially if my skin felt dry or sensitive and prone to reddness. This would be good on the go skin care as you may not feel you need a moisturizer afterwards. The website evolu.con is well worth checking out. This cleanser is light and creamy, reminds me of the Nivea dry cleanser but with a thinner consistency. The 125mls will last a good amount of time as you don't need to use much to cover the whole face, considering the price I think is good. The cleanser didn't relax me but it did deeply clean and hydrate my skin, I did notice my pores on my cheek seemed more noticeable and I did have breakouts there as well, I do have ultra sensitive skin but I think the cleanser was detoxifying and pushing out the nasties. I didn't notice any change to my fine lines but I like that has ingredients for anti-ageing, my skin was also less dry but did still have some dry flakes. I'm glad they don't use any other animal ingredients apart from beeswax and it is more natural. Th smell is great and reminds me of going on bush walks, I can't pick the apricot but the smell of nature and flowers is amazing. I would repurchase at a lower price as for $39.99 I would want my skin radiating which it wasn't quite at but definitely lives up to its statement of deep-clarifying.

For those new to creme cleansers, and wants to try an average natural creme cleanser that’s nice and gentle on the face, this may be a good one to start with.

It has a nice clean natural scent, and a light, soft and creamy white texture, which makes it a nice everyday cleanser.

I prefer using this as an in-shower cleanser, as the second step of my double-cleansing regimen. It’s a nice and simple creme cleanser to clean and relax your skin with in the evening after a busy day’s work.

My face feels soft, relaxed, and hydrated afterwards, without any irritations nor tightness feel.

Overall... nothing special or amazing about this cleanser when looking at it’s price, but it’s a nice cleanser i wouldn’t mind coming back to again in the future.

I found his cleanser to be just like most other cleansers i have used unfortunately. It washes my face well and removes any make up i have on but i have to lightly scrub at it for a bit to get it all off. I have used this for a week now and haven't really seen any difference to my skin when it comes to cleaning out my pores or helping with any impurities i have. I did like the formula and very subtle fragrance is has and the packaging is lovely. The tube it comes in is very easy to use and there wouldn't be very much wastage. I am very underwhelmed when it comes to this product which is a shame.

I will be using it for another week and then my mother would like to try it so hopefully it works for more mature skin. (which i will get her to record and update this review from her point of view)

I received this in one of my BBBE boxes and was excited to use this as I have enjoyed 2 other products from the same brand. Packaging is an upside down squeeze tube, my favourite type of packaging. This one is coloured in a light lime green the same as the other products in this line.

I love the smell, it's balanced and not over powering. Perfect for use as my morning cleanser. Leaves my skin feeling gently refreshed and cleansed.

I don't like it so much as my evening cleanser. Only because it does not effectively remove my make up at all and I don't even wear foundation, just eye makeup and lippy.

It's my least favourite product out of the three I have tried (cleanser, spray toner and night cream). I like it enough but have other products that will do the job for a lot less so I most likely will not be repurchasing.

I got this in a beauty box and was really happy to have it since it was touted as a sensory experience to use. I go over the pros of this product first. It's a lovely, natural cream cleanser. It smells pleasant and has a slightly floral smell from the geranium oil and I personally am a fan of geranium scents. It's gentle and lovely to use on my face in the morning which is when I use a cream cleanser. No problem getting the product out of the tube and there's no leakage which has happened with some cleansers I've used. However, this is where the appreciation ends. I don't think it's "deep-clarifying facial wash" like the tube states, if it was I would be using it in the evening as my second cleanse after my oil cleanser. I personally didn't experience an amazing sensory experience using it. It wasn't like incredible layered, scent notes emerged when I massaged this on my face. And lastly, it's 40 bucks at the time of this review for a 125ml tube. That's pricey for a cream cleanser that's pretty average. There are two natural cream cleansers that sell for around this price point that I have tried and that I think are worth purchasing and unfortunately this is one of them. So I will not be repurchasing this.

I got this in the BBBF box I purchased at the start of the year. I loved the Evolu toning mist and the overnight cream so I thought this one was a sure thing. Don't get me wrong I like it but it doesn't set my heart in fluffy mode like the others. I am used to using a more gel like texture rather than a cream when it comes to cleaners, so this was something that got me intrigued, It has a slight fresh scent that is pleasing to the nose so that was nice. The design lets off a clean, green image which I rather like. The cleanser is very creamy just as the name suggests. I would even go as far as to say it's quite velvety feeling between the fingers. It's very luxurious feeling on the skin that's for sure.

It says that it removes makeup including that stubborn eye makeup......(buzzer sound), wrong! It doesn't remove bugger all makeup off my face. At best it removes my bb cream and makes some very unattractive panda eyes. For $40 this is not acceptable in my books! I tend to use this in the shower to make it easier to wash off and to open up my pores for it to work its magic.

I find it super silky on my skin and almost like using a moisturizer to cleanse. It feels weird but I don't hate it. I use a flannel to wash it off because I feel like it does a better job of getting the product off without it leaving behind a greasy residue. Besides getting the cleanser off more efficiently, it helps remove more makeup than it would if I did it without the cloth.

I always follow up with the toning mist and moisturizer (either day or night) to give it the best results possible. Before using the other toner and moisturizer, my skin feels super soft and not sucked of all the moisture, like I have found from other cleansers. My skin is far more supple and clearer after continued use. I don't break out as much as I used to and I find my dry spots have cleared up yay! The part that makes me hhmmm about this cleanser is that it doesn't remove makeup like I need and the huge price I pay for it. If I look past these things it has the best results when teamed with the skincare range from Evolu. It is the most kind on my sensitive skin and for that I continue to use it.

This product comes in a green and white tube with Evolu branding. It has a pop top.

I hadn’t used Evolu products before and saved the individual products in the range from various sources (via BR) so I could use the whole set together – cleanser, toner, day cream, and night cream).

The cleanser itself is white, and quite creamy. It has an unusual scent that I neither like or hate. It could be the calendula that is primarily responsible for that. It also has geranium, apricot and St John Wort. I would’ve liked a more apricot scent.

It cleanses as well as any cleanser and doesn’t dry my skin. It is mild and claims to be for all skin types. It is good, but not better than any of the more average products I’ve used. And at $40 I’d be quite unlikely to purchase it again, because I think there are cheaper cleansers that are as good as this.

I do like that it’s made in New Zealand from natural products, and if I had problem skin I may be grateful for a mild product such as this.
