Garnier Organics Lavandin Regime Reviews

This was my first time trying Lavender based products and I must say that I was highly impressed. All the products smelt amazing and left my skin looking smooth and feeling softer.

The regime was easy to follow and the products were simple to use.

What an exciting range from Garnier!

I have to start by saying I love the brand ethos with this range - it's all about using sustainable, organic ingredients and recycled/recyclable packaging. In today's climate, you almost think...what has taken the big beauty brands so long?

The star ingredient is of course lavandin - which from what I can tell is just another type of lavender. The range definitely smells lavender-y - it's just lovely. Fresh but herby-floral.

I like that they've stepped up/dialed down the fragrance depending on the product - the eye cream in particular has a very muted fragrance, which is great, because I know people are wary about fragranced products near eyes.

The serum is light and non greasy and a really great introduction serum. I think it would be the perfect product for someone just entering the serum-world.

The day cream is quite thick and rich, but again non greasy. It takes a few minutes to absorb, but when layering on top of the serum the effects are wonderful.

The eye cream is simply lovely! Light, and cooling on the eyes. Non irritating. I am in love.

I've been playing with these for maybe 10 days, and I'm really impressed. My skin hasn't suffered any ill-reaction.

From my nosy at Countdown, these each retail for around 20$, which is a fair price, especially for a first step into anti ageing skin care. Together they make an affordable and effective skin care routine.

I was really surprised at how nice this serum is! It’s not a fast absorbing oil it stays for ages and keeps skin hydrated and smooth. I usually use bio oil on face but this is so much better especially at night once cleaned face. Don’t love the lavender smell particularly would love if in another flavour but this was nice at night before bed! I would def replenish this item.

I really enjoyed the trio, the packaging is cute. If you love the smell of lavender then this smells amazing, but not overpowering. After few days use, as recommend on the box I added the smooth & glow facial oil to the the anti age cream, which is suppose to boost the glow, I didn’t notice to much of a difference after I added it though. All 3 products are easy to apply and absorb well and didn’t leave a sticky feeling afterwards. I had a look at pricing online and overall it’s a good quality product for a cheap price.

I am always a little nervous about using Garnier products as I have reacted to some in the past. I must say, they have greatly improved in recent years. I have very dry sensitive skin but this regime made my skin feel great - it didn't go flakey and it feel smooth and soft. The products were non greasy and absorbed quickly. I will continue to use these.

I enjoyed using this range because it is organic and knowing the ingredients are natural and that no artificial preservatives are included. I like the recyclable packaging used and the fact that Garnier doesn't test on animals. My skin felt nourished using the eye- cream, moisturiser and facial oil together, and I like the that Lavandin essential oil is soothing, antiseptic and known for its wound healing properties, and the aroma was pleasant too. I will continue to look for these product and glad it will be stocked at the supermarket and pharmacy at a great price.

This was like using a "normal" range of good skin care, no funky smells, no funky textures or strange ingredients that can be associated with 'Vegan' skin care. As a trio of products, these all compliment each other beautifully, and are packaged in nice green coloured boxes, with Garnier backing up their Organic/natural commitment. I loved the concept of a good, general day to day range of vegan skin care that had organic ingredients where the source of the ingredient is named, and that they are suitable for all skin types. I was concerned the Lavandin would be an overpowering fragrance, but was happily surprised that it was gently balanced, pleasant without being strong, and after a few minutes on the skin, unnoticable. The Day Cream was one I would definitely use again. I was disappointed that the Eye Cream was packaged in a plastic tube without a recycling number instead of a glass pottle. The facial oil was a great consistency and lightweight enough for summer use. Overall, my skin felt nourished and a lot smoother after using all three products.

I was quite excited to receive these three products to review. The range consists of three products, an eye cream, a day cream and a facial oil. They come separately in cute pale green boxes and are suitable for all skin types even sensitive.

The scent is quite subtle but pleasant, you can mainly smell the lavender but it's not overpowering old fashioned as many lavender products can be. The eye cream is silky smooth and easy to apply. I don't normally bother with eye creams and while this one was nice to use I couldn't say if it made any difference. Certainly not in this short time. The day cream is so creamy and lovely to use. Its light, non greasy and easy to apply. The oil was also easy to use and apply. I followed the suggestion of adding a drop or two of oil to the cream and mixing the two together which made them even better. Overall these products I would definitely continue to use. After using for a week my sensitive skin has not had and breakouts or reactions which is perfect. My face does not feel gluggy or greasy from using them every day. My only negative would be that the day cream does not contain any sunscreen. As I'm outside all day I need a good sunscreen and find it too much on my skin to use a day cream and a sunscreen together so prefer a combination product.

Overall all I really enjoyed the three of these products and how they worked together. I can have pretty temperamental skin and none of these products caused me any issues, in fact they were quite soothing!

I enjoyed the packaging, pretty and sturdy. The scent of the oil and cream is quite lavender strong but inoffensive if you like lavender.

My favourite part of this system was blending the oil and moisturiser together, as suggested. I found this provided a quickly absorbed highly moisturising combo that did as stated providing a glow boost.

This is a highly affordable, yet still quality feeling trio that I would highly recommend. It feels lovely to have all three and create a pampering routine.

As for the results, my skin did feel lovely and rejuvenated but I can’t say I noticed a massive difference in ‘suppleness’ over two weeks - but I did love it for hydration and soothing.
