L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Serum Review

I received the serum on the 26th Sept 2018 and started using it that night in conjunction with the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Serum moisturisers. I love the packing it comes in because it states very clearly the name of the product, what age group it is for and details of how to apply along with a flow chart showing how to use it with the other products. Very helpful. It cam in a glass bottle, with an easy to use pump top. The serum has no descernible smell and is of a thin liquid consistency that goes a long way (2 drops per application is ample). It absorbs rapidly which is great for then applying you moisturiser on top. I am unable to declare its efficacy as I don't think I have been using it long enough to attest to much, however my skin did feel softer when I used both the serum and the moisturiser each day and night. I also think my skin looks firmer and smoother in the mirror, which seemed to occur after 3 to 4 days of use.

The Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Serum came for trial, alongside its family members Day and Night Creams. Packaged in a 30ml size, a dark brown recyclable container with a bright, gold lid is most attractive.

I used the range twice daily and noted the Manuka Honey Extract and Calcium B5 ingredients which were a variation from any other skin care I had experienced. "Anti-Sagging, Smoothing" also appealed, we all succumb to such torment eventually!

The pump on the serum is perfect, a tiny dot of silky fluid which is discreetly fragrant, creamy in colour, and applies so easily to the cleansed skin. Sparingly is the answer, I found two "pumps" sufficient for my face and another for the neck area. The serum absorbed quickly into my skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and smoothed, enabling application of the day or night cream (as appropriate) quickly afterwards.

I have noticed an improvement in my complexion overall, what has done the trick I am unsure but perhaps it's the combination of these L'Oreal products. I am certainly looking forward to using these for a while yet to allow sufficient time for complete judgement but so far I am very impressed and feel my skin is healthier and brighter, with more firmness.

I love that fact that this comes in a glass bottle, gives the impression of quality. The brown colour also reminds me of a spa experience.

I have used many skin care products and a lot of them have been from L'Oreal Paris.

This serum has been designed for a particular age group. This is a fantastic innovation because as we age our skin has dirfferent needs and this way you pick a product that will be of benefit to you and your skins' needs.

As you pump the serum out onto your fingers you will notice the colour, which is a very pale creamy colour and then the very subtle scent, hard to describe but pleasent.

It is a typical serum consistancy, not too thick. On your face is absorbs very well and there is no residue, it is all absorbed.

I cant say I have noticed a huge difference but it has been only a short time that I have been using this serum, however I am loving the way my skin has been feeling lately. Softer and more nourished. I will continue to use this serum.

Firstly I love the packaging – the cardboard box is bronze and expensive and classy looking. Inside, the serum bottle is opaque with a silver pump top. Very nice and simple to use. Each pump pops out a small bead size of product and about three beads complete my face and neck.

The product is cream and like a lotion in consistency. The aroma? Mmmm fabulous!

I’ve been applying it night and morning after washing my face. The first thing I notice is that my skin is instantly soft and smooth. It makes for a lovely base for the day or night cream I use afterwards. The product claim says “An intense sensation of comfort leaves the skin feeling soft and supple”. True, it does.

For the past 8 days I have been using it in combination with the matching day and night cream, and I feel that my skin is looking very toned and conditioned, and more radiant. I feel that the manuka honey and calcium b5 are really helping repair my skin. After 4 years of awesome trial and beauty boxes via Beauty Review, I’ve used some pretty amazing serums but I have to say, this is the nicest I’ve ever used. Honestly, if I could give it 6 out of 5 I would.

It goes without saying that I highly recommend it!

Lovely feel and fragrance, but not too much. Not at all greasy but feels rich. Leaves the skin feeling lovely. Just needed to remember to not use too much, although its great rubbed over your hands to utilise the excess.

I was very pleased to be chosen for this trial as I have aging sensitive skin and always looking for products to improve my skin texture. This Age perfect Serum is packaged in a really nice reddish brown container with a silver pump on the top and a protective clear cap. The pump has a nice solid action and dispurses a nice amount with each pump and does not squirt out as most pumps seem to. The effect of the container is very stylish and gives a very positive start to the experience. The serum is a thick creamy white and has almost a lemonish scent which is really refreshing. Two pumps is sufficient to cover face and neck. I found that the serum absorbed instantly with a nice silky feel and immediately I had a feeling of toning on my skin with an immediate tightening feel. Using twice a day I have found my skin to have improved softness and definately more supple. With 30 mls in the container I feel it will last approximately a month using twice a day so dependant on the price could be reasonable. I will be purchasig this serum in the future just for the feel on my skin alone as it makes me feel so pampered.

First impression - good to have a serum delivered by pump rather than a dropper system where the bottle is vulnerable to being knocked over and the precious serum lost. The very delicate and subtle honey fragrance, and the soft silky texture of this product is a pleasure to use. Just two "doses" provides ample coverage of face, neck and even ears, and results in a gentle but very perceptible sensation of tightening and lifting.

Out of the three products that I had to review, this was my favourite, I loved the fact that you just needed to press down on the top to access the serum. It was lovely and light and felt really fresh, I was really impressed and pleased as you use this more often that with the other creams. Will continue to use this, definitely.

I think this serum would have to be my favourite out of the 3.

They all smell beautiful but the feel of this is perfection.

I love this it’s just the right consistency for my skin. Not too oily and doesn’t leave my skin wanting more. It went straight into my skin and left it feeling refreshed.

Packaging looks expensive. I like the amber tinted bottle as it’s sure to make your product last longer. It’s a large amount of serum for the price so I was really happy.

The scent is lovely not too fruity, floral, or sweet. Even though it contains honey it still has a more floral and slightly masculine scent which is nice as some are just too sickly.

You can wear it on its own or underneath makeup as it’s really well absorbed by the skin. Doesn’t just sit there and it didn’t cause my makeup to slide either.

Love the Manuka Honey ingredient I hear it has some wonderful health benefits so am pleased to see that in there.

A little goes a long way I think because it’s not sticky or greasy it’s light with a consistency that spreads well and is easily absorbed. Which is a surprise as it contains Manuka honey so you would think it would be sticky but it’s not.

Very hydrating. It feels creamy and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. My skin dries out easily and this has kept my skin feeling refreshed so hasn’t felt dry.

I haven't noticed major changes with lines and wrinkles but I feel as though when I use the trio it makes my skin more plump which helps soften the appearance of my lines and wrinkles. So my 60+ yo skin is loving it.

A lovely serum for those who have dry skin as it helps moisturise without making your skin feel greasy.

I can't believe the difference this product has made to the feel and texture of my (mature) skin...in only a week. The label says Extraordinary Repairing Serum, and that's exactly what it does!! Last week I looked at dry, sagging lifeless skin... but not any more. The product is in a pump bottle for easy use with less mess. You only need two pumps for excellent coverage.. and the moment I applied this serum my face felt alive. Using it religiously this week I have noticed an obvious improvement in elasticity, moisture... and far less "crinkles". I have used the serum in conjunction with moisturisers for both day and night, giving me a great result.
