Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Face Cream

So this product arrived just in time, after my morning shower, so I thought well there's no better time like the present to start my trial. Upon first inspection I was quite impressed with the size of the tube for the RRP of $49.90 you would hope it would last a while.

I noticed the smell straight away, to me it was a slightly unpleasant smell but it didn't linger after application so that's alright. The other thing I noticed is that it's quite a thick cream and upon applying it, it doesn't seem to go very far, it had a tightening effect on me which I didn't like, but to my surprise this didn't last more than a couple of seconds and I was left with my skin feeling hydrated and fantastic!

This has been a hard one to review as it has had its benefits and negative effects on my skin. I have had problems with dry skin/eczema since being free from it when I was four where I will regularly flare up on my face. But with constant proper skin care I avoid these problems. I was excited to recieve this product as it is a NZ made natural product I wanted to see how it would compare to the other product of Trilogy's which I have tried 'Everything Balm' sadly it was no different apart from the consistency. I liked that it was a rich creamy moisturiser where a little went a long way, i liked that it was moderately absorbing as i dislike products that absorb too quickly or too gluggy and greasy on the skin. But coincidence or not I found after one day it had evened out my skin tone and made my skin glow, after continous use it made different patches on my face go dry, itchy and flaky especially my chin, and then made me break out, this happened with my "Everything Balm". As this is my due date of my review I am just going to update the outcome at a later date as there could be a possibility that this isnt due to the product at all. Once my skin settles down I will definitely give this another whirl as I believe natural products are the best thing for the skin.Thank You BR for this chance xx

I absolutely love the smell of this face cream. It smells so fresh. It is really moisturizing without being heavy or greasy. Really light, fresh and fragrant. It is definitely worth investing in!

When I tried this is was so hydrating and non-greasy and with the extra bonuses of all the great ingredients like rosehip oil, coconut, honey and evening primrose you really can't go wrong, I love rosehip oil by itself and often mixed it into my normal moisturizer so to have it already in a moisturizer is fantastic!!

I recieved this product following an overseas trip. I have very sensitive skin and it left my face feeling soft and smooth without any breakouts or it feeling oily/greasy. Would recommend for frequent fliers

Was very excited to receive this review as my skin deperately needed hydration with all the meds I'm taking my skin has really taken a beating. So waited to apply at night after I had cleansed my skin, well the smell was delightful, lucky I do like the smell of lavender, there was a slight tingly after I had applied, the consistency reminded me of Skin Deep moisteriser which also has manuka honey. The tingly sensation didn't last long and I wondered if the lavender helped me to drift off to sleep lol. In the morning wow my skin felt so soft and there were no dry patches. I decided to use both morning and night to get the full benefit, in the 5 days that I have used this I have been told I'm glowing and asked if I had botox, well for a 45 yr old this is what we want to hear, so this product will never be far from me. The price is well worth it but just want to see how long it lasts, might use a day moisteriser and use this product for night time, but if I keep seeing results like I have and keep getting comments it will be used day and night. My skin certainly feels well hydrated, not soaked or sticking with product and another thing when I'm applying makeup it just glides on.

Works a treat for dry skin - soothing and smells great. I loved it - did exactly what it said! I would definitely recommend this to others with dry skin.

It does everything it says it does- easily-absorbed, gives immediate relief and lasting comfort to dry/ dehydrated skin, leaves a softer, smoother, more hydrated complexion and helps restore elasticity and softness. Nice, easy to use product and it smells nice too :)

I love this product. The ingredients are super clean and beautiful. Nothing I feel even slightly iffy about putting on my skin. I love the fragrance, its sweet and relaxing, very lavender. The cream feels luxurious on my skin, you only need to use a tiny bit and it soaks in perfectly so I can apply make up right away. I love how hydrated my skin has been feeling. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Great work trilogy.
