Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes Review

These skinfood wipes are very gentle on the skin, and I found they didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped which some of them do. I found that they don’t always take all of my make up off, so I often need to use two. I do however wear a full face of make up, so this may be why. I don’t use these all of the time - usually only if I have had a big night or am in a rush.

I was in the supermarket, had a quick look on my phone for a review and saw these wipes. I mainly use wipes after my night shifts . I feel so tired and my quick go to is wipes.

Packaging looks bright and inviting. I had trouble with the seal not completely adhering to the packet . Texture of the wipe itself is soft. Quite thin . Not as thick as I’d hoped it to be . The scent of these wipes is like very mild vanilla.

It seems to take my make up off but not my liquid liner . It struggled and I have to do a double cleanse with my oil cleanser .

I had hyped myself up for these wipes. I payed over ten dollars and I honestly don’t think they were worth that price for only 25 wipes. I wouldn’t recommend it for full face make up like what I wear. I won’t repurchase these .

I love a lot of Skinfood products & when I opened this pack of Facial cleansing wipes, I was greeted with the fresh clean odour I like. The wipes are VERY wet, 'great' I thought 'They should be able to remove my eye makeup'

But OW!! stingy! that is not nice. makeup removal was ok, but I wont be using them for my eyes. In fact I'm too scared to put them on my face, after all what's the point in cleansing only part of your face?

I am using up the pack as brush revivers however, in between full cleaning.

I'll be the first to admit - since becoming a Mum, wipes just don't appeal to me anymore (think: nappy changes!). That said, these Skinfood wipes are handy, do what they say they will and smell nice. They are great for a lazy cleanse after a hard night. They did make my skin feel like I'd just moisturised, which was nice but a little hard to get used to because you expect your skin to feel clean.

Some of the downsides: aside from the waste caused by wipes (single use throw away item), I found the resealable sticker to close the pack and keep the wipes moist didn't stick very well.

Besides that, a handy staple to have in the cupboard for those nights when you just can't be bothered with a full on cleanse routine.

Facial wipes... the lazy woman's best friend. Or at least, that's how I always feel when I'm using them!

These are great for removing makeup easily (though I don't think I've tested them on really heavy makeup) and leaving your skin moisturised. I have sensitive skin so I often react to products, but I have never had a problem with Skinfood. These leave my skin feeling like I've just applied moisturiser, which is a little odd when I've just cleansed, but good because it allows me to fall straight into bed!

I don't like the waste created for the environment by using wipes so I try not to use them too often, but when I do it's always these ones. I make sure to always keep a packet on the bathroom shelf and they always come with me when I travel. Bonus, they are easily picked up at the supermarket or bought with free shipping on the Skinfood website.

If you're a user of facial wipes (I know not everyone is), these are ones you should try.

I received a pack of these in the Beautiful Christmas advent calendar and I was stoked - I'm really enjoying the face wash from this brand so I was excited to get something else from them.

The packaging is just a plain white pack with the typical resealable sticky thing. Inside the pack are the wipes, which are moist enough to feel damp but they aren't dripping. I like it. The wipe itself is quite silky and soft, it's really nice on my face.

The smell of them is quite pleasant, and I like wiping them on my face. I didn't really notice it removing too much make up, but they do take a small amount off. They left my skin feeling nice, without any weird burning sensations or drying my skin out. I'd probably repurchase!

When I initially opened a packet of these wipes I couldn't believe how wet they were, they were drenched! Far too wet, but as I got through the packet the wipes became less soaked.

These wipes are gentle on the skin, soothing and hydrating. They're not bad for removing makeup, and they're a decent size and thickness.

I recieved a packet of these wipes in an advent calander, I probably wouldn't buy them myself at full price just because I reakon that over $10 for a packet of 25 wipes is a bit steep. They're pretty good though, one of the better cleansing wipes that i've tried.

Usually I'm not a fan of cleansing wipes, as all the brands I've tried in the past have been rough enough to irritate the delicate skin around my eye area and I find they're usually quite dry; by the time I've wiped one side of my face, the wipe isn't damp anymore and I have to use a second wipe for the rest of my face. So, I prefer to double cleanse using a cleansing oil and then a foaming cleanser but these Skinfood Facial Cleansing Wipes have changed my outlook on facial wipes.

I was really surprised at how soft these wipes are and the refreshing chamomile and aloe vera leaves skin feeling cleansed and soothed. They don't fluff or shed any fibres when they're used to remove eye make-up or lipstick and they're wet enough to cleanse my whole face and neck with one wipe and are definitely the softest facial wipes that I've ever used!

If I ever need to buy facial cleansing wipes (I do like to have a pack with me when I travel), I'll definitely buy another pack of the Skinfood ones and I'll be recommending these!

Skinfood Facial Cleasning Wipes are paraben free and are suitable for use on all skin types.

These wipes are soft on the skin and are very easy to use. They also smell really good, but are not overpowering in scent either. I didn't mind using them as they did an 'ok' job at removing my make up. They easily removed the majority but not the waterproof mascara. I also found the wipes were also REALLY wet. I'm not sure if it was the packet I had, or if it is normal, but the wipes were actually dripping once they came out of the packet! I have tried a number of different brands of 'wipes' and overall am indifferent to this one, there are better out there for the price :)
