Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti Age Sleeping Cream Reviews

I absolutely love this product. Firstly the smell is divine. It's calming applying it at bed time. After using the Anti Aging night cream I'd wake up to hydrated, plump and soft skin, smoothed out fine lines feeling amazing to start the day. I highly recommend this product.

I love the packaging on this product, it is informative and pleasing to the eye. Upon opening the jar, I wasnt sure how I would go with this cream as I found it quite heavily scented. My eyes can be quite sensitive to smells. It had a lovely thick consistency, a little goes a long way. It was easy to apply and made my skin feel silky.

I am truly not a fan of lavender and lavender products, mainly because of the smell. I was sceptical about this product purely because I thought the lavender would be harsh on my skin and smell terrible however the smell didn't bother me at all. It has a light lavender scent which i couldn't smell after applying. The thing I loved most about this product was the texture. It was like whipped body butter or something similar. It felt luxurious to touch and apply and went on my skin so easily. My skin immediately felt hydrated and smooth and moisturised. When I woke up I do feel my skin looked refreshed and was well hydrated still. Not sure about the wrinkles although there may have been a slight decrease in the fine lines. The price is a great bonus.. Although the size of the product means it won't last long, at least I can squeeze it into my limited beauty budget. I feel like this is something I'm willing to keep buying for sure.

Was excited to try this having used other products in the Organics Lavandin Range. Like them, the Anti-Age Sleeping Cream comes in a lovely light green box, with Garnier branding on the front with a lavender floral image. There's the product descriptor clearly stating Vegan Formula, Lavandin grown in France. This is for All Skin Types Even Sensitive. One side of box has organic, vegan, ethical and recycling commitments, other side has list of ingredients with source, stating 25% organic and 98% natural origin. Back of box has info on Lavandin, results and use. Bottom of box shows product is good for 12 months after opening. Glass Jar with a green lid, branding and directions. A gentle lavender fragrance upon opening, not overpowering at all. A lavender-coloured rich cream that feels lightweight and silky smooth. Easily absorbed, no oily finish. Skin felt nourished and hydrated after application. I liked the light scent of lavender upon the skin as I went to sleep. After using for a couple of weeks, my skin texture feels more hydrated, softer, and regenerated. It is definitely replacing my previously used night cream. I love this !

I was really excited to try this product as I have really sensitive skin in winter time and many products make my face feel like it's on fire but this range does the complete opposite and the anti-age sleeping cream is no exception! The cream is thick and rich and is a lovely shade of purple, which was a nice surprise on opening. It has a lovely light scent of lavender which makes me feel a little like I am enjoying having a relaxing mask applied at a beauty salon. The cream is thick, with a really nice consistency and it is recommended you apply a generous layer ... I was a little concerned that it may sit on my skin however it is absorbed beautifully into my skin by the time my head hits the pillow. I have only used it for a couple of weeks so I haven't experienced all it says it can do (it says on the box that their clinical test was for five weeks) but my skin is much more hydrated and looking fresher in the morning. I am yet to notice a difference in my wrinkles but my skin is enjoying this sleep cream being applied nightly so I will continue to do so and hopefully I will see further results the longer I use this on a regular basis. I had been taking collagen powder for the past few months and it ruined my skin ... I was, for the first time in my life, experiencing blemishes and extremely deep and painful pimples. I stopped taking collagen the same day I started using this sleeping cream and almost overnight my skin was back to normal ... I feel that the natural and vegan formula had a lot to do with this and I am grateful to have been chosen for this trial right when my skin needed it most. The packaging is effective too - it is very clear that it is an organic and vegan and I am loving the glass pot which makes it easier to recycle too so that is a bonus :) It is a good looking product and looks and feels much more expensive than it is.

The Garnier Organics Lavandin Anti-Age Sleeping Cream is a completely vegan formula (and Garnier is a cruelty free brand). This product comes in a glass tub with a twist lid. Although not as fast as a pump bottle, a tub allows you to get every last inch of cream out, which I like.

The cream itself is purple in colour, with a thick and silky consistency. It has a lavender scent which I personally find quite strong and do not like. A small amount of product spreads quite easily and goes a long way. As someone who prefers gel creams, this seems quite thick and heavy on the skin. After a couple of minutes, the product sinks in, but when I touch my face there still feels like a clammy residue. It's a night cream so this doesn't really bother me, because I'm not trying to wear this under other products.

I don't have overly sensitive skin but unfortunately this cream seems to make any blemishes on my face flare up a bit in redness and feel a little stingy. They seem to settle by morning, though I'd rather it not happen in the first place!

For me, the depth of the scent is a deal breaker. But if you don't mind lavender, I'd say it's worth a try, if only for its organic vegan ingredients and its low price point.

The packaging is nice and pretty in it pastel tone, easy to open and understand the instructions. The cream itself is quite thick, which is nice for a night cream. Also I find the pharmacy brands not normally in a thick formula, so that was a nice surprise. The cream is easy to apply and not sticky. Every time I have used this, my skin has come up nice and fresh in the morning. My only complaint is that the scent is slightly too strong for me, but other than that it’s a great product

This is a great intro to night creams - it's not too thick or rich, but is definitely more hydrating than your typical day cream.

I found it easy to apply, it absorbed beautifully, leaving no residue on my skin or pillow. I sometimes find night creams prone to pilling - I'll wake up and can literally rub the remaining product off of my face; but not this one!

It's a kind of pinky-lilac colour which is a nice touch. The lavender scent is there, but not overpowering. Again, a nice touch, especially for a product you use before sleep.

After about 10 days use my skin feels hydrated and soft, and I think I look fresher in the morning than the end of the day so it probably is doing something to the overall plumpness and texture of my skin.

The only downside for me is the pottle format - I'm not a huge fan of sticking fingers into jars, and would prefer a pump, or even a tube I can squeeze product out of.

Overall this is a very affordable and effective night cream, one perfect for those who are maybe just starting to use one at the beginning of their anti ageing journey.

I was happy to try this night cream as I've recently run out and have been using a day cream instead (oops!).

I don't usually like scented moisturisers but was happy to give this one a go as it's lavender which is said to promote sleep and relaxation. It was not irritating to my skin at all nor was the scent overwhelming.

The texture of this cream is ideal. Thick enough that I feel like my skin is being nourished but not too thick that it requires a lot of work to get into the skin. It left my skin feeling nice and soft and hydrated.

The packaging was cute, clear glass jar so you can see the light purple cream and paired with a mint green lid.

It's a bit soon to comment on any anti aging results but I will continue to use this cream and update :)
