Dr LeWinn’s Private Formula Vitamin Infused Micellar Cleansing Water Review

I have had zero success with Micellar products, until now. This micellar cleanser is lovely, and a new addition to my cleansing that I love.

This Dr Lewinn's Vitamin infused Micellar Cleansing water is beautiful in every way. The bottle itself is a generous 400ml of product. It's tall and sleek, a pretty pink styling, and cute pink capsules within the gel (it's consistency is somewhere between water and gel - so easy to control applying to a pad or even fingers (if you wanted to use a flannel to remove instead!). I love that it's a gel rather than that 'toner' water type of product.

I apply with a cotton pad to remove make up - and I use it in the morning for cleansing prior to toner etc. The product barely has any scent. It's so cooling on the skin, being a gel/water consistency. The fun part is watching the 'capsules' with the Vit A & E boost, burst and disappear. I tested the theory by rubbing solution into my hand with my finger, and sure enough they melt into your skin, no trace of them to be found. No need to rinse either, so it's a really easy way to cleanse, and a great base for your skin care routine.

With use, my skin has been clearer and brighter, and more even toned. I have a glow about me. My skin feels fabulously hydrated after use, and the rest of my routine absorbs into my skin. My random skin breakouts have stopped - in fact I think this product sped up the healing process when I had a hormonal breakout.

It feels really gentle, but its incredibly effective removing makeup, including stubborn mascara. It takes a couple of rounds for heavy makeup, but generally only use one cotton pad (both sides), and after skin is completely cleansed, it immediately looks bright, smooth and hydrated. I LOVE coming home to remove my makeup and cleanse.

My skin is all the better for it, and I will be adding more Dr Lewinn's products to my regime as I'm so impressed. I wish I'd found this product sooner. I believe I've found a micellar holy-grail for me with this product.

At $17-20 range (cheapest I've found is Chemist Warehouse), it's a lot of product, and delivers on what it says it does. Great for all skin types as it doesn't strip your skin of moisture. No excuses to not remove makeup with this product, as it's quick and easy!
