Simple Micellar Water Review

I got this in a gift basket from my son's. Have never tried any micellar water before. I like how it felt gentle on the skin And it does a pretty good job at removing makeup

This is the best micellar water out! So gentle and doesn't irritate my skin like some other brands! Really cheap too! Would highly recommend!!

I have been loving trying out different micellar waters, and really wanted to try this one as I love the simple brand and more natural products. I love the plain packaging and how easy it is to see what product is left in. To me it didn't have a scent at all to it. I use this to remove all make up and it really helps, it gets rid of all eye make up without stinging or irritating your eyes. After using this, your skin feels so clean and free of make up.

Simple is (in my opinion), a really underrated brand. I had used the Garnier Micellar water and had a nasty reaction to that - so I was a little worried about trying this. However, my worries were unfounded.

I like to use this as a gentle makeup remover. It easily takes off all of my makeup and is gentle enough to use on my sensitive eyes. When I use this my skin doesn't feel sting or turn redder than usual (as it did with the Garnier version). This has no scent and is incredibly gentle, whilst being powerful enough to remove my makeup.

I really love this and the fact that it is so inexpensive means that I will definitely be repurchasing this when my current one runs out. I have also used this as a spot cleanser for my brushes when I have been away for work and it does an amazing job at that, too.

What a versatile product. I’ve used it as a makeup remover to clean face/neck area as well as the eye makeup quite effectively – I could safely use it around my eyes and even on the lids - without any irritation or sting. On some days when I jump straight in shower after getting home, I’ve also used it as a toner to further cleanse & get rid of any stubborn makeup (ie mascara smudges around the eyes) I find it very gentle, and pleasant to use – it doesn’t leave any greasy/sticky residue AND it doesn’t dry my skin out either. I also used it to clean my makeup brush one morning when in a hurry…. Probably not the most cost effective use for it, but it did work wonders! I will definitely buy and use it again and definitely recommend to others. A better micellar water cleanser by far when compared with similar retail brands.

I was selected to trial this product and I'm sold on it, it's amazing! From waterproof mascara and eyeliner to concealer and foundation, this product effortlessly removes them all. My skin felt soft and hydrated after using it, and I've been recommending it to all my friends and family. A little goes a long way as well, which makes it an economical product to have in your bathroom.

This is great. It's so easy to use and completely cleaned my skin. I did use 2 cotton pads to cleanse my face but they aren't very big. My skin had some dry patchy areas which have gone now. That is using this for not quite a week. My skin is softer and looks smoother too. It is gentle on my skin and having sensitive skin, I have found this great. Have had no irritation, burning or itching. It also doesn't have an overpowering smell which I find great also. My face feels nice and clean and fresh after cleaning my makeup off. Doesn't dry out my skin either which a lot of makeup removers seem to do.

Had leaked when I received it, but as you don't usually get it in the post, this wouldn't usually be a problem. Would be nice to see a better seal on it though.

I was impressed by the packaging of this product. The clear plastic enabled you to see how much content was left and there were clear illustrations on the back for directions to use. The product itself has very little smell or any colours added which would be good for sensitive or mature skin like mine. I was pleased how easy it was to apply, just a small amount poured onto a cotton pad, with just a gentle wipe it removed all traces of my makeup, including mascara and daily grime and no rinsing off afterwards! It was gentle and soothing without stinging my eyes, left my face feeling smooth, not dry or tight, but clean and fresh. I used this product twice a day as I work outside in our orchard and my face can get very dirty. I don't always wear makeup during the day but I definately don't leave the house without it! After a few days use, it was quite noticeable that my skin looked more radiant which was a bonus and a nice surprise! I would definately recommend this Micellar water to anyone who wants to cut down on their daily regime and get a brilliant result.
