L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Regime

I was fortunate to be chosen to test the L’Oreal Collagen Tightening Cream regime. This consisted of the day, night and eye creams and all three come in attractive white and gold packaging. There’s a faint but pleasant scent and all three are an almost neutral/pale apricot in colour. I’ve placed reviews on all three items individually and can say that both the night and day creams leave your skin feel well moisturised and nourished throughout the day/night. I especially liked the eye cream, as soon as you apply it you can see a noticeable reduction of fine lines around the eyes and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. It absorbs quickly so you can go ahead an apply the night/day creams almost straight away.

If you’re looking for a new skincare regime, I totally recommend you give this one a try. I’d definitely purchase in the future.

The Age Perfect Collagen Expert regimen is beautifully presented in the classic L'Oreal packaging. The pottles are all sturdy and functional, the gold is a classy touch.

All of the products feel beautiful on the skin - the night cream is very rich and creamy, the day and eye creams are lighter and cooling upon application. They're refreshing and a beautiful treat for the skin.

The results have been really good, my skin is super hydrated and so soft. I think the fine lines look a little plumper and my skin feels firmer (but in no way tight)

The only reason I couldn't give this full marks was the lack of SPF in the day cream - other wise, top marks and highly recommend!

Thank you very much for letting me trial “L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Rethightening Care” Regime of Day, Night and Eye Creams. The day and night creams both come in identical 50 ml white glass jars but the night cream has a small blue band with night written on it. The eye cream has the same design but in a 15ml jar.

I have noticed my face feels softer, more supple and hydrated. You only need to use a small amount each time for your face, neck and around the eyes. The spreading of the face creams is helped with warmth as you massage them in and the eye cream spreads very easily. All three creams absorb easily. After using every day and night it appears several of my darker spots have lightened and the fine lines around my eyes have been kept at bay which I am very happy about. Moreover I feel there is a slight tightening under my jaw line however it has only been two weeks so am looking forward to see if these improvements continue.

I loved using all three products that are designed to work synergistically.

Overall, I found that L'Oreal again meets the needs of women’s skin whatever age. It is reasonably priced and readily available and are 'on special' regularly in the supermarkets.

I would continue to use this brand and would recommend it to my friends and family

I received 3 products from this regime on a Beauty Review trial - eye, day and night creams. All come in the classic white & gold L'Oreal packaging (outer boxes and inner glass pottles) & the creams are a lightly fragranced peachy colour of reasonbly thick, but easily absorbed consistency. The eye and night creams arrived first. I really like the eye cream and think this might be my go to eye cream from now - with noticeably reducing pronounced lines around my eyes. I'm less sure about the effects of the night cream - but overall my skin is nourished ok on waking. I did receive the day cream about 10 days later and started seeing differences in my skin a couple of days after starting this. It's difficult to tell sometimes how the individual products work - so perhaps it's a cumulative use of day & night? There doesn't appear to be a SPF in the day cream, which is a bit disappointing. The whole regime would set you back around $65-90 for 6-8 weeks usage - so select depending on budget- averaging on 6 weeks @$80 it would cost approx $13/ week. Basically a successful trial, I'll continue to buy the eye & probably the day cream & might get the night cream sometimes.

EYE CREAM Like most of L’Oréal Paris' moisture products this is a good all round eye cream. Created for mature skin it's a tiny bit thicker in consistency than others in the range I've used but not overly, and doesn't feel greasy or heavy. lt glides on nicely and has a barely detectable fragrance, so not overpowering in that regard. This product has collagen and claims to firm and retighten skin. After 10 days or so of using this, I am happy with the result; the skin around my eyes looks plumper and the lines less obvious.

DAY CREAM I am a little disappointed in this day cream by my favourite skincare brand L’Oréal. Yes, it is designed for the more mature skin but I find it far too heavy for a day cream. It’s not easy to apply and to be honest I can’t find a lot of difference between this and the night cream consistency wise. It also does not contain a SPF which is an absolute must these days. However, once on it seems to do the job okay and my skin feels hydrated all day.

NIGHT CREAM I’ve found over the years that the older you get the heavier the moisturisers seem to get, They don’t necessarily nourish your skin any better, and quite often you're left with a heavy, greasy residue after struggling to apply it as it's so thick, which is not a pleasant experience.

So, it was a happy surprise to try this night cream. lt's not thick, and it glides on easily, and is not greasy and in the morning my skin still felt nourished and hydrated and looked it. lt has a very subtle fragrance and comes in the L’Oréal Paris signature square glass jar, which l also love as the lid is flat and you can stack them on top of each other.

REGIME Created for 50 plus these formulas contain Collagen Amino Acid Fractions which claim to visibly firm and retighten skin, plus a melanin block which helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, so I’m looking forward to seeing more results after a bit more use. L’Oréal Paris don't test on animals which is a big thumbs up from me too.

I really liked this regime - I just didn't see any of the pigmentation-fading or re-tightening that was touted in the packaging. Mind you, as a disclaimer, I only got to use it for 3 weeks and they say that you need to use these products for at least a month before seeing any noticeable results.

As a regime, it was very hydrating. I liked all the products - day cream, night cream and eye cream - and will continue using them until the jars are empty. I just didn't see any visible results that I can comment on. There were no contra-indications (it didn't make my skin worse), and as I said, they are very hydrating, it's just that they don't appear to have faded any of my pigmentation spots or tightened my skin any more than any other creams I've used.

I like the packaging, how pretty it looks, and the texture of all 3 creams is very pleasant. There is little to no scent, which I prefer, and my skin does feel plumper upon application. Unfortunately though, this doesn't make them any better than any other cream that doesn't make the re-tightening and pigmentation-fading claims. They're just good creams that do a good job of moisturising my dry skin.

I'll continue to use them all until the jars are empty (I would assume this will take 6-8 weeks as you get quite a lot in the jars) and then re-evaluate whether or not I would purchase the products again.

I like L'Oreal as a brand (their Hyaluronic Acid serum is the best I've tried) and I will always give their products a try because I trust them to not break me out or cause sensitivity issues, but I'm just not sold on this range in particular. It won't stop me repurchasing the brand though.

Overall, if you're looking for a good moisturising, hydrating regime to care for your aging skin, I would recommend this one. I just wouldn't set your sights too high.

I was delighted to be included in the review team for these products. A total care regime is the best way to go for complexion care and these products go a long way to living up to expectations. I am 70 and my complexion is often admired; I have always looked after my skin. I do endorse using the three products together. I used the eye cream at night because i thinks it gets good nourishing time without makeup! All three creams are easy to smooth in and I have no residue on my skin at all. I wear makeup every day and its important to find the right combo of creams. This does it for me.

I found using the three products together worked well to ensure my skin looked firm and refreshed. The products were easy to apply and absorbed quickly. My skin texture was more uniform and event.

It is a no brainer to get the best results use the whole range of Age Perfect products. All products have been clinically tested and proven through independent consumer testing and are safe to use on sensitive. I definitely will recommend to friends and family. I personally will keep purchasing once finished the review process and look forward to seeing the improved skin clarity and tightness. Thank you to Beauty review for the opportunity to trial.

I'm so happy i got to trial this trio. The minimal fragrance on a couple and the oh so little you need to use has impressed me right off. I'm convinced that my skin looks better and has less sag, particularly around the decolletage area. My skin even feels better. Not sure if its tackled the age spots much yet, but otherwise i'm happy. If teamed up with the same in a cleanser and toner this would make an even better product.
