This is the first time I've seen a gel form of micellar water, it's certainly a lot easier to control how much you use each time! The bottle is a very simple plastic squeezy bottle and I find that each time a pea sized dollop is enough for each eye.
It certainly meets its promise and removes my eye-makeup with no rubbing or rinsing required. I like how it seems to 'lift' the mascara particles off my eyelashes and makes it easy to wipe off with a cotton pad. I've very sensitive skin and this hasn't caused any irritation at all. It also works great at removing foundation and lip-makeup. I find that when I use this don't drag my face as much as I do when I use makeup wipes, so it's definitely a bonus because I don't want wrinkles!
Overall a really innovative idea and works better than orginary micellar water in my opinion. These often go on sale at supermarkets so great bang for your buck!
I used this product after it was given to me as a gift. I liked the idea of using a gel to remove make up but wasn’t too impressed with the over all finish. I used on non-waterproof mascara and it did remove it but I found when I followed the instructions (placed grape size amount of the gel on to a cotton pad and hold onto closed eye for a few moments then wipe downwards) it still left make up residue on my eyes. I did end up rubbing a bit with the cotton pads as I found just doing the downward motion not enough to remove all make up.
Didn’t work at all on water proof mascara, however the product doesn’t specifically state that it would do that so I can’t be too picky. I did find my eyes stung a little bit after using the product as well.
Did a good job at removing my foundation but I have sensitive skin and found this made my redness on my cheeks more pronounced.
Tips: Used with a cotton pad.
