Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Day Jelly Moisturiser

I really enjoyed using the day jelly moisturizer. I was worried about it being sticky on my skin but I found it soaked nicely into the skin. It worked well with the serum. My skin has had less breakouts and the couple it has had, have healed much quicker. It also feels softer after using for 2 weeks. It was also gentle enough to use over the eye area.

Packaging is nice and easy to open, product is unusual in its texture but smells light and fresh and absorbs into the skin well. I found this went well with other products in my skincare regime and nothing pilled so thats a win.

This is an ok moisturizer, I found that it did not keep my skin very hydrated and that my makeup didn't look that great underneath it.

As summer approaches, I do think this product will be great to apply in the next morning after a day of sunbathing as it is very soothing and feels very hydrating.

The consistency is very light weight and absorbs into the skin really nicely. It can get a bit tacky if I have applied too much in one area so a little goes a long way - I am assuming this is because of the 'jelly' like formula. However, this is really smooths into the skin nicely.

It comes in a nice wee tub that doesn't take up too much room and is travel friendly too. I used this for just under 4 weeks and will be needing a new pot soon so I would say it would last 4-5 weeks.

This moisturiser really was a great addition to my morning skincare routine. It is very hydrating and when layering other products on top if doesn't pill which was a big relief!

For those who use make up, the foundation glides on nicely and in a way seemed like because it was a little tacky, the foundation adhered nicely together.

I felt with the dryness I was experiencing from winter and constantly being under the heater/heat pump, this was a nice addition where I really felt hydrated. My skin looks very hydrated and I don't feel like my skin has that "tight" dryness to it anymore.

I'm quite undecided on this one. It's not bad and it's not good, it's just fine. I don't think I'd buy it again. I find it hard to get the right amount and then it dries slowly and almost makes my face feel dry when it does. Didn't feel like it dried on my eyelids after hours. Worth trying but nothing special.

I have been trialling the Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Day Jelly Moisturiser along side the gel wash, serum and night moisturiser from the same range.

This day moisturiser was not what I was expecting to see when I opened it. It is completely clear and my first impression was that it looked more like a hair gel than a moisturiser. However, it had a pleasant aloe fragrance and like the serum, it soaked into my skin very quickly. I have very oily skin, and find with most moisturisers that they can been too heavy and sit on my skin leaving a greasy texture. This gel moisturiser soaked straight in, plumping my fine lines and improving my skin texture. It helped regulate my oily skin, and I found my makeup lasted much longer during the day as my skin wasn’t producing as much oil. I found that my makeup applied better onto my skin after using this moisturiser.

I used this everyday for the past month and my skin is looking great. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to incorporate a hyaluronic acid moisturiser into their skin care routine.

My only criticism is that the packaging looks very similar to the night jelly moisturiser, and it would be useful if the containers were slightly different shapes or colours.

I loved using the day moisturiser. It was so easy to apply with my morning routine. It glides on smoothly, absorbs really well into the skin, and smells amazing. I have noticed a big difference while using these products, such as my face feeling and looking for fresh and glowy. I highly recommend!

I was very excited to be able to try the Garnier Skin Active Hyaluronic Aloe Day Jelly Moisturiser. I love aloe vera so I was interested to see how it transferred into a day moisturiser.

My first impression was that I liked the look of the jar. On opening it resembled what I was expecting since it contains aloe vera and is called a Jelly Moisturiser. It reminded me a little of aloe vera gel which we use over summer if we have the misfortune of having sunburn. The smell was pleasant.

The moisturiser was easy to apply and fairly quick to absorb. It did leave my face with that slightly tacky aloe vera feel. It isn't a terrible feel and probably to be expected considering it contains aloe vera! My skin felt very soft and it was a great base for under makeup.

It says that this moisturiser is good for normal to oily/combination skin. My skin is a fairly normal to combination skin type, it was oily when I was younger but not so much anymore however towards the end of the day, I did get some shine. Possibly similar to other moisturisers but I was expecting less than normal as it does mention being for oily skin. I don't feel like it would be a bad choice for oily skin as it is so light but don't expect it to keep you oil-free all day.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a very lightweight moisturiser. Especially if you love aloe vera and are after something that sits well under makeup.

I used this product after applying the cleanser and serum, and ended up with plump, moisturized skin all day. Goes into the skin super fast, does not leave any residue. Pleasant, hardly noticeable smell. I loved the consistency of the jelly, but was a bit worries about contaminating it by putting my fingers in the pottle every day.

I am not a big fan of jelly texture and was pleasantly surprised that it is more of a gel than a jelly. I loved the fact it can double as a face mask! Only a pea size amount is needed and the product covers face, neck and décolletage- so great value!! It has a pleasant botanical smell and absorbs well. I found it left the skin with a lovely glow, but the texture was a little strange to touch. It didn’t feel as soft and dewy as it looked. You definitely need to use a primer before using foundation. The longer I used the product, the more I saw improvement in texture, plumpness and hydration. I have dry skin, and it was looking really sallow after a long winter so this moisturiser was heaven sent. It is gentle and does what it says, rehydrates and plumps the skin.

I would rate it higher, but it doesn’t have an SPF which is something I usually look for in a day moisturiser having fair Scottish skin. I imagine is summer the cooling sensation of the gel and the aloe will be divine…so looking forward to using this product into the summer months.

I’m totally in love with this day jelly, it’s going to be my new go to day moisturiser. Love how it feels on my face once it’s soaked in. I love the refreshing cooling feeling and can’t wait to keep using it for in Summer. My skin is always dry and this has really helped.
