Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Face Cream Review

Firstly the container is my favourite which is a jar style. This means it’s super easy to get out the exact amount you want to use and you can get every last drop of the cream out of the jar before disposing of it. The container can be recycled which is a huge tick for me as well. I used the Miracle Boost serum, before applying the Micro Sculpting cream. The Micro Sculpting cream has a pleasant scent. It feels like a thick cream, but not so thick that it felt gluggy. It just felt more like a night cream. It went on over the serum really nicely and made my skin instantly look like it was glowing and hydrated. I have pigmentation on my skin caused by the sun and after using the cream for just 3 weeks, I do feel that my pigmentation had become slightly lighter. I will certainly carry on using it to see if it continues to lighten my pigmentation. I feel that my skin looks and feels better since using the cream. The only comment I would make is that when I apply my usual foundation over the top of the serum and cream, it doesn’t seem to blend into my skin properly. It starts flaking off. I’m not sure if this is the serum or the cream causing this problem. Overall, I do like this product and will use it again.

I had high hopes for this product after seeing the aesthetically-pleasing red packaging and the list of promising claims. Four weeks on, this has not made it on my shopping list for repurchase.

I love the light creamy consistency of the product and how it absorbs nicely into the skin. It’s one of the few times I’ve come across a moisturiser that made my skin feel amazing upon application.

I can't imagine going through this product quickly because even a finger scoop is too much. I notice the product starts to pill so dotting my face is more than enough which is a good thing given the price point.

I love fragrant products and this moisturiser smells wonderful for…..HAIR. Yes, it smells like shampoo. It’s not a bad thing but it can be quite overwhelming. I understand there’s a fragrance free alternative but I actually prefer my products to be scented, I just wish they toned this one down a notch.

I personally don't find this to be oily-skin friendly. After moisturising, I apply my makeup and set with powder (normal routine) and within a few short hours (i.e. it’s still the morning!) my skin is oily again. It seems like the product breaks through the makeup and powder easily and my face is left feeling saturated with grease.

Out of the promising claims, I can vouch for one and that is after 2 weeks of use I noticed an improvement in the brightness of my skin. It actually looked healthier! However my best friends pores, flabby skin and wrinkles are still lurking about. Needless to say, I'm left feeling underwhelmed and therefore it's not a product I would recommend.

The thick white cream is contained in a dark red plastic pottle and an outer red/ silver cardboard box. Non greasy and quick absorbing, with a very light fragrance. Not quite as hydrating over the whole day as I thought it would be. My skin is soft and silky after applying but slightly dry & a little crepey by the afternoon. I have used just under 1/2 the pottle (so perhaps 7-8 weeks supply in the whole pot), and the skin is firmer, as promised by Day 14. By Day 28 there should be visibly reduced lines and wrinkles (counting down - another 4-5 days?). I am using the Miracle Boost Pre-Essence as well, so difficult to know whether both are working, but brow marks and crowsfeet are definitely noticeably reduced, where I've used both. Cheeks are still not as firm/ plump as I expected (mainly just moisturiser here). Maybe unfairly I am thinking the moisturiser is taking longer to work than the essence? It's still a nice but thick moisturiser, and I will keep using it in combo with the essence. No adverse affects for sensitive skin. I bought a follow up pottle when I saw it on sale.

Love this product - it is like silk on the skin. It has a beautiful soft smell and comes packaged in a high quality red jar. The cream itself is light but not too light. It has a silky texture and absorbs instantly. I was very nicely surprised and really enjoyed applying this product. It made my skin feel nourished and soft and I didn't suffer any adverse reactions or breakouts. I have given some to my husband to try and he was also impressed with the lovely cream. Yes, I will buy this again and will be happy to to recommend to others. This is the type of product that shows that you don't need to pay a huge price to get a high quality skincare product.

I haven't used Olay products in quite some time, so I was a little bit excited when I was chosen for this trial. The packaging is quite cute and it is the standard 50g which most face creams come in these days. The scent reminds me a little of Pantene shampoo, which would make sense as I believe they are manufactured by the same company. The cream itself is quite a rich white thick cream consistency and because of this you don't really need much for a whole face application. It did say on the instructions to use upward circular motions to apply the product - not sure why it would matter in which direction you apply your face cream, but hey, I did it anyway. This cream has a timeline of effects on the skin and when they are supposed to happen - at this stage of the game I am supposed to be seeing the reversing the appearance of up to 10 years of wrinkles. I'm 41 and the only wrinkle I really have is a small one by my right eyebrow...unfortunately it's still there Speaking of make up, on my oily skin, I have noticed that since I have been using this face cream and not using much at all (and I haven't changed anything else in my beauty regime), by mid afternoon my foundation and my face is an oily mess - and I have no idea whether that it a fault of the face cream. It is something to keep in mind if you do have oily skin and you are a daily foundation wearer. I also already have pretty firm skin (thanks to some awesome genes) so cannot comment as to whether the face cream has any effect on the plumpness of my skin! I do believe my skin does look brighter though. Even though I haven't really seen any of the results that have been promised, I am going to continue to use the face cream after the trial....and who knows, it may take longer for me to see results more than the average person and if that is the case, I may have found my holy grail (apart from the foundation issues, but that's nothing a little powder can't fix!).

You have to love any product that contains Hyaluronic acid ! I always look out for this in my moisturiser as it’s a powerful humectant keeping your skin plump and hydrated, I haven’t used Olay in a long while and I was pleasantly surprised how great this moisturiser is ! I used it on top of their pre essence , it absorbed quickly and my skin felt amazing the next day ! I will definitely be keep using this product!

Olay Regenerist micro sculpting face cream is amazing. It is white in colour and comes in a large pottle which will last ages as you don’t need a lot. It has a pleasant fragrance. It does take a little time to absorb into my skin so I wait a few minutes before I apply my makeup. I feel it has made my skin more youthful looking. Definitely refreshing.

I have been using this product for just over 2 weeks, morning and night. Really loving this cream. It smells lovely but not to over bearing. A small amount does go a long way and upward circular motions to apply the cream as suggested on the tub seem to work quite well. My skin feels firmer after applying the cream and it doesn't feel sticky, just feels nice and smooth. My pores have reduced and lines appear slightly smoother. I am looking forward to seeing the results after a month. Highly recommend this product, it is above average in price but definitely worth it. At nearly 40 years old, hopefully this keeps me in my 30's a little longer!

Firstly the packaging is bright and cheerful and you can clearly tell which range you are using. The glass feels sturdy, like most other Olay products and the silver lid is Eye catching. The only thing I don’t like, is the instructions tell you to use your finger, I would much rather use a little spatula than my fingers. The cream is amazing! Firstly the fragrance is like green apples, I love that! Thick rich cream, easy to rub in. I did have to wait a bit longer than with other creams to apply primer, but found if I went straight to my foundation, I didn’t really need the primer anyway. I’ve used it twice a day over the last 3 weeks along with the serum and it is a good combo. This is a product I will purchase once I’ve finished up ther many day creams in my stash, I simply love the apple scent that much!

With my review being under 2 weeks' of use, I am certainly looking forward to the proven benefits listed after 30 days of firmer skin and reduced appearance of up to 10 years of wrinkles.

My verdict: I love the smell and packaging of this product. A thick face creme, I enjoy the feel of the product on my skin and felt it was hydrating when I use it. I did break out, so not sure if this is due to the Olay serum or the creme, or combo of the both, but this settled after the first few days of use. My skin does feel a little tighter, but not noticeably different results at this stage. I am optimistic after extended use this product will help smooth out my skin. At this stage though, nothing much to report, to be whole-heartly be able to recommend this product to others.
