From day one my skin has been greedily lapping up this product leaving it feeling wonderfully soft, smooth and replenished. The texture is perfect for me and doesn't leave that sticky irritating feel that can often be experienced. I massage this in with upward strokes and it absorbs well. I am enjoying the end result - as does my skin.

Tips: Following the suggestion on the packet I have been blending in a drop of porcelain brightening serum which has made this even more pliable to apply and it soaks in readily.
This is an amazing moisturiser which is not too heavy on the skin and good for day to day wear. I think that the natural ingredients inside it of the calendula oil has helped heal my skin to make it less dry in winter. However the only downside is that the packaging is hard to use because when you press down on the lid to get product out, I have a bit of difficulty. The product itself is great and I would buy it again.
Never have I ever tried such a luxurious moisturiser. The Linden Leaves Essential Moisturiser feels like silk and smells heavenly. It absorbs in 30 seconds leaving your face smooth and baby skin like. I use this along with other Linden Leaves products every day. I don't use a primer of any sort, just the Essential Moisturiser and Linden Leaves Porcelain brightening serum. My foundation looks absolutely amazing on top of this. I have sensitive skin. This is by far the most gentle and natural moisturiser I have used. It goes perfectly with my daily skin care routine and I believe along with the cleanser I use, (Epiology Anti-Acne Foaming Pre-wash) it goes well to help and clear my acne too.
Tips: It is the best moisturiser I have found that goes with my Anti-Acne foaming pre-wash. (Epiology) Mix this with a little bit of the Linden Leaves Porcelain Brightening serum every morning. This is definitely the perfect combination for my sensitive, acne prone skin. It is fantastic as a base for your foundation. I don't use a primer and my makeup stays on all day and looks fabulous!
I was given the Linden Leaves Gift With Purchase that included this product.
It comes in a small white tube with Linden leaves branding the same as the other minis – plain and simple and appropriate for a mini.
The product is a thin white cream. It has the scent of calendula that I don’t really like. Once applied on the skin it is soft, and slightly waxy. It claims it will hydrate, balance and protect the skin from everyday environmental stresses for a fresh, youthful appearance. It doesn’t have any SPF, which is a negative, but it is quite nice. It makes my skin feel a little more plump and soft. I don’t think my skin looks more youthful, but that would be a tall order for any product.
Overall I think it’s a good daytime moisturiser – but it is limited by having no SPF and being $49.00, which is a lot of money for an average product. And I have tried several other daytime facial moisturisers that I like much better.
Tips: I have five of their products and they work best used in conjunction with each other.
I got given a few samples by linden leaves and this was one of them. Most of the other samples in the pack smell so amazing but then getting to this one, i was not a fan of the smell at all. unfortunatley that put me off it quite a bit. It absorbs good, leaves your skin feeling nice and a little goes along way but i personally wouldnt go and spend $50 on it.
Firstly I love the packaging, it is so fresh and clean and on point with the design. The pump tube was smaller than I expected and a little light on the amount delivered in each pump. The consistency is good, fairly thick, but the absorption rate for my skin was poor. I found my skin felt greasy all day with this product as it mostly sat on the surface of my skin. The smell was not great, I can't really describe it, it was probably due to the calendula I guess, but it wasn't pleasant. If I had to describe it I would say it was a strange mix of chalk and something acrid. The smell didn't soften or dry down on my skin since it didn't absorb. But I got used to it and carried on my day. I tried this product on it's own, with and without make up and after a consistently less than perfect experience I also tried it with a few drops of the rosehip oil from the same range. Which felt nicer on my face and was smoother in results but still had the same absorption issues. I was really surprised at my experience with this range as I have always thought Linden Leaves range looked, sounded, and smelt amazing.... but priced way out of my affordability bracket (which I also thought must mean it's the fountain of youth fabulous) so I had never tried it until now. I am so thankful I got to trial it as I would have been devastated if I had found out it didn't suit me after draining my bank account to purchase it. I am also a little sad I didn't achieve the Linden glow I was hoping for.
Tips: Try before you buy!
