L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renew Revitalising Day Cream - SPF30

This cream comes in a 50ml glass jar. The colour of this cream is a gold hue and is scented.

It is a heavy cream that is definitely suited for mature or very dry skin. I initially applied to my eye area and found my eyes would water though upon re-reading the directions you aren't to do this. This being my reason I gave 4 kisses as I like to apply moisturizer to my eye area.

As for the results my skin looks more relaxed, firmer and more youthful. It's definitely moisturizing and lasts throughout the day. As for the SPF it is winter and there hasn't been much sun. I wouldn't apply too much as it won't completely sink into the skin and you could get a little pilling. I recommend using what you need and it will sit just fine under your make-up. You could also use this on occasions if your skin is getting dry especially with a change of season.

I am in my late sixties and my skin has dried out with age, so was excited to try this Day cream for mature skin. The product comes in a large glass 50ml screw top jar,gold and black. The first thing I noticed was a strong floral scent, though not unpleasant. The cream is a thick, creamy, buttery pale yellow colour which is easy to apply and sinks into skin well although a bit sticky at first. My skin immediately felt softer and moisturised and over a period of time looks more glowing. The SPF factor is a plus for myself and the ingredients like Black Truffle extract apparently stimulate cell renewal. Black tea, which is full of antioxidants, vitamins and amino acids, are also added. My lines and wrinkles seem slightly softened, the only thing I would not have added is the strong scent but otherwise I reccomend this day cream highly for mature dry skin.

As usual L'Oreal has put their product into a beautiful glass jar. The product is a lovely pale apricot colour with a slight perfume that is non offensive. The cream is rich and luxurious but not gluggy to apply. Actually I was surprised and impressed when applying the cream as it was easy to apply, I did not need much, and it absorbed very quickly. A pleasant experience every morning. I used the product for the 1st ten days on its own to see if any differences occured. I found my skin improved in its density. I have quite thin and translucent skin and this product definitely improved the feeling and look of my skin. I was impressed so I brought the L'Oreal Midnight Serum that matches and wow, this really kicked the improvement up a notch. The dry patch, I have had for ages, on my cheek has now disappeared and I really notice the skin around my jaw line is thicker and tighter. Also my skin in general looks brighter, more youthful. A great day cream with the added protection of SPF30.

I absolutely love this cream, it is age perfect to me. I am a woman in her late 50’s who is trying her best to age gracefully using what products help me achieve this. How we are in the middle of winter so my skin goes pretty dry and from the first application of L’Oréal cell renew I felt so much more hydrated. And over the past month I have not had a day with the dry flakey skin I can suffer from in winter, which means my make up works and looks better. I have sensitive skin and this cream hasn’t given me any reaction or stinging. I look forward to using this cream every morning and the protection of being spf30 is also reassuring in being the winter months I don’t feel the need for any further sun protection. This rich moisturiser has made my skin feel smoother and has done what it claims taken away the dull look to my skin with an overall improvement to the condition of my skin. Thank you L’Oréal the science and research helps me to have skin that I am happy and comfortable with.

I must admit I don't think I have ever used a day cream that was so full bodied! After my usual go to toner, I would massage this cream into my face, neck and decolletage each morning. Very creamy texture so I was able to massage (circular motion as per the instructions) quite firmly. It was fine on the days I didn't wear foundation. The days when I did do full face makeup I found it was a bit too greasy. Also I have quite sensitive eyes so I need to make sure I didn't put it anywhere near them, otherwise my eyes would feel greasy/smeary as well.

It's always exciting receiving a new product to try out so when BR offered me the chance to be on this trial I pretty much jumped for joy! I mean who doesn't want to have youthful looking skin in their 50's!! My first impression was the packaging which looked stylish and sophisticated definitely more of a premium product.The instructions on the box were easy to read,I did not not to wear my glasses to enlarge the print this time around and the product information including the ingredients were clearly visible and simple to understand,the glass jar was very easy to open and close with a simple twist of the lid.The first thing I noticed once I dipped my finger into the cream was the fragrance which for me personally was a bit overpowering,I would of preferred no fragrance particularly when my skin is quite on the sensitive side.It did take me a few days for my skin to adjust and there was a slight breakout across my cheeks and forehead so possibly due to the fragrance however after one weeks use my skin had settled down.The cream is an unusual shade of custard yellow and actually reminded me of the dessert creme brulee with it's look and texture which is a slight thick consistency but gave a very buttery light feel on my face and neck once applied and immediately made my skin feel velvety soft with a more radiant look.You don't need to use a lot of product to achieve results so I would imagine the jar would last at least a couple of months or longer if used every day.I have only been trialing this product for two weeks and during this time I have noticed a slight reduction of my fine lines.softer skin with no dry patches and my face looking a bit more radiant but I have not noticed my skin to be any firmer and I'm not so sure it looks "full of life" and "renewed" as promised by the claims written on the packaging but perhaps with longer use we shall see more improvement.I do plan on continuing with this product and at between $40-$50 a jar it is a pretty reasonable price for a quality well known brand which is widely available in store or online from Chemist Wharehouse,The Wharehouse,Farmers and local supermarkets.Would I recommend this product? I think after a longer time of using this cream and maybe incorporating a few of the other products in this range like the serum,night cream and eye cream I would see more improved results and the fact that it does contain SPF 30 and backed by science with proven clinical or consumer studies plus dermatologically tested which makes it suitable for all skin types then yes I would recommend also based on the product claims,my own experience and affordability.

This is the product for me. # About the look and packaging: As usual, the packaging of this product is elegant ( gold & black tone). # About the smell: The smell of the cream inside is very pleasant and comfortable. # When apply the cream on my face and neck: The creams are thick but they are absorbed nicely and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and nourished. # The effect after using this product: I used them in the morning before applying foundation. The cream makes an excellent base for make up. What’s more: the SPF30 is perfect protection of my ageing skin! I noticed that my dull, dry and wrinkle skin become more and more radiant and nourished. I understand that this product helps to improve the cell renewal of my skin surface. It says on the packaging” antioxidant recovery complex inspired by Mother Cells Science. I am happy to meet this product that suits me heaps.

When being sent the cell renewal SPF 30 I was excited to try it. The packaging is very effective , gold silver and black were very eye catching. The label stood out in bold black lettering and a gold background. On opening the bottle my first impression is the colour of the cream, it’s yellow. Not had a cream with a quite bright yellow colour before generally they have been cream or off white. The cream had a distinct fragrance, very strong floral or fruity smell which may come from the bitter orange extract. I felt it was a bit strong and quite overpowering to start with but got used to it over the coming days. The consistency was a soft and semi liquid cream, it was very easy to apply to my face and neck. Being of that consistency it was easy to take a lot more in my finger than was necessary. I ended using a makeup spatula so not to contaminate the cream. A small amount of cream went a long way on my face and neck, the fragrance was very strong while applying but after 30 minutes it diminished considerably. The length of time to test the cream was necessary to see any results that may occur. My skin has a mixed combination and it was overall good for it I found a few small wrinkles around my eye diminished after 2 weeks use of the cream, the use of vitamin E as an antioxidant certainly assisted my face. My home is heated by heat pumps which is very drying to my skin but this cream kept my skin soft and subtle, and even feeling a bit firmer. I looked around for prices for this cream and it ranged from $33 - $45 for online purchase and at shops in may city. It was a large gap in pricing so best to shop around before purchasing. If I purchased it in the future I certainly would fine a supplier who was value for money. I would like to continue using it so I could see any further changes in my skin and be able to up date my review. With what I have seen so far I recommend this cream for all skin types and definitely shop around for pricing. If it were summer time I would have enjoyed the SPF30 factor of the cream, but as I reviewed the cream it was overcast wet winter days, so it could not show me it’s ability to care for my skin.

Ah L'Oreal. I remember a time when I thought they were a pretty basic brand, doing products that were just ok. After trying different products from the different L'Oreal ranges I have come to real rate them. This Age Perfect day cream is no different!

It's very rich and luxurious to use, lightly fragranced and very cooling upon application.

It soaks into the skin and makeup sits beautifully on top. It is very soothing and seems to instantly smooth the skin. I experienced no dryness at all, this is incredibly moisturising!

I love this product and will be looking to buy the night cream to match!
